Issue: no longer able to access keyboard for search or renaming on steam deck when docked. To get the keyboard i must unlock and manually access the keyboard. When using keyboard the item i am typing is out of field of vision.

Keyboard issue here too. I have to open it manually (pressing steam + x at the same time) because it won’t open within the game since the update.
Also keeps saying I’m offline and won’t connect even though I indeed have internet and a strong signal only happens with DDLV.

Unable to use a mouse to select menu items. This has been an issue since update 5. It worked fine prior to that.

Have completed quest by eliminating fires. Told to proceed through portal they were guarding. But no A button/ enter portal appears, regardless of distance or angle. Tried exiting game & restarting, did not help. I am unable to proceed.

Issue: Dreamlight Valley is unable to recognize my internet on the steam deck. I've used the mobile hotspot trick before and it worked, but now even that isn't working. Other games connect just fine to the internet.

Yeah! I was actually able to make the mobile hotspot trick work again.
What I did was connect to the mobile hotspot, and then I would forget it and reconnect and enter the password again. For some reason that seems to make it work again.
But I have to do it everytime I log in to play DDV. I hope this helps you out!

Issue: Im on steam, been having issues with the portal christmas tree not showing up. Its been missing for the past 5 updates and im not able to finish uncanny romance quest for sally as you need the christmas tree portal and i dont have it in my valley. Ive restarted, checked all biomes but still nothing. I dont think its a glitch either
