Issue: With the Voice of Reason Ursula quest the voice squid I have to catch is in this rock and I cant fish it out. I have restarted my game multiple times and it wont change. thanks for your help.

Issue : Cannot fishing the voice squid during Ursula's quest - Voice of Reason. Because the pool was spawn under the rock so I cannot catching it. Already restart the game reuninstall but still same. Please help. Thank you.

Can't fishing the second squid in the waterpool at the Peaceful Meadow. See the clip. Also restarted the game but didn't change the spot, please help.

Issue: unable to catch the squid for Ursula quest where it spawned is between two rocks so I am unable to cast my line.

Same situation with me on Xbox series x. tried every possible angle.

Issue: (Reported regularly since update 11) Despite having enough level 10 fishing companions that the number of bonus fish should be almost +9 every time, occasionally my companion fails to give any bonus at all. It's not super frequent, but happens often enough to be noticeable. In addition, the companion does not earn any companion experience, so the problem must be that the game temporarily forgets we are hanging out for some reason. I've never observed similar behavior with any other activity (e.g., mining or foraging) it seems to be uniquely a fishing problem.

FYI I'm on PC as well and while I have this issue, it's not limited to the Voice of Reason quest. There is at least one spawn on Eternity Isle that I can't get to because of it spawning inside of a rock. I don't own Storybook Vale so I'm unable to see if there are any there that have this problem as well.

Issue: I am trying to fish for the last squid in Peaceful meadows and for some reason the gold ring is on a rock and won't let me fish it, I have attached the picture for explanation (same issue)

Is anyone having issues with fishing lately? The last few updates, and becoming more increasingly common with every update, to the point I cant fish AT ALL this update it seems, but ill walk up to a fishing spot, try to cast my line and it just doesnt? Its so hard to explain, but its as if im quick pressing the button or not pressing it at all. And no, its not my mouse or keyboard, i have no issues in literally anything else and am an avid gamer and would notice something like that quickly.

Id love to get a video, but due to the nature id need someone else to film it and i sadly live alone. Basically the issue is that the fishing rod just ISNT fishing. If i press the button to cast it doesnt, or it does but not able to push it out away rom the shore and into water or bubbles, and IF i do manage to finagle it into a buble spot, it just doesnt let me even try and auto fails :(

I'm having the same problem with the Voice Spuid quest.
started a new save a cuple of weeks ago, got to that quest pretty quicly and now it's stuck. Have plenty of other things to do, so not really a problem at the moment.

PS: dyslexia and norwegian, so please exuse the spelling errors, I know there are a few in this post 😅 I could get some help from google translate, but couldn't be botherd right now as long as it's readable 🙂

Fishing spot in the grove are out of reach same is happening to my partner who games on PS5.

EDIT: I found a way to fish if the spots are out of reach, I moved a Lilly pad on top of the fishing spot in the grove and it moved it closer to me. Unsure if this works on other platforms but give it a try
