when i go into the shop, suddenly everything starts spinning and it wont stop spinning so that when i try to move i cant even move in the direction i want to go and then if i do manage to get out of the shop its okay for a moment and then spins again its very annoying

Issue: Everything was going well until I left the game, when I came back again it simply wouldn't open anymore, it got to a point in the loading bar where it closed by itself and didn't even enter the game...

when i go into the shop, home, remy, scrooge's etc, or go out, game crushes no matter what or default windows' download circle starts spinning and it wont stop until i quit ddv manually

it has already crashed about 10 times (in 2 hours)

My game will crash after a short time no matter where my character is at or what they're doing.
It crashes at least once an hour

Steam: My game would crash when I try to go to another location. Like, from room to room in my house, when entering or leaving stores or restaurants, villagers houses, etc. It does not happen always, but it makes it hard to play

Issue: My game crashes every time I try to log into the game.
I get to the loading screen and during loading it just crashes. I see no error code before this happens. I've tried restarting the game several times but it keeps happening, and can't even get into the game. (Which is sad because I only wanted to log in to update my cloud save and play on my switch - something I can't seem to do from the login menu). Other games work as intended without crashing.

No screenshots, sorry.

EDIT: Works after verifying the integrity of game files in Steam! 😄

My pc has had an update totally unrelated to disney. It had ended up in a boot up loop with windows. If I have to end up wiping my computer and resetting everything would i have to go back and repurchase the game?

Continual crashes doing anything. 3 times in less then 1 hour. Once after cooking, once after fishing and once trying to enter daisys boutique.

I'm getting a lot of lag whilst having a video running at the same time since this update. I had no issues with it before and even having Itunes playing music in the background is causing lag although less severe than watching a video. A friend tested it as well and they had lag as well

Steam:
First time ever getting "Game initialization error #101" when trying to log into DLV, I've tried VPN and mobile hotspot on my PC with no luck. I can launch all of my normal games and play them... The first error page when loading Dreamlight is that there is a "game portal connectivity issue" and whether to 'continue offline' or 'connect' then when I want to contiue offline I get, that #101 error message. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Issue: When I access my inventory, the expand button is in the wrong place and it appears empty, plus the unlocked/locked slots are all scrambled up. When I open inventory again, the game will crash, or at the very least, it'll freeze and I have no choice but to force quit, and often I get a 'this program isn't responding' popup. I hope this is the right place to post!

Issue (Include Error Codes): Game causes PC to temporarily turn green, then when the screen returns, the game is frozen except for audio and has to be forced quit. This is during two different parts of Hades' trial

ETA: I tried the trial a third time and put on a super basic outfit to reduce graphic load, as well as changing all the settings to 'very low' and made sure to walk and rotate the camera as little as possible and made it through.

issue: Game crashed twice today. Both times I went into my inventory to notice things went missing like material and food, but when I try to exit the inventory the game crashes. No error code. The game freezes then crashes.

Playing on pc through Xbox gamepass and games crashes when I’m fast traveling to different wells and sometimes when opening things or talking to characters!

Issue: Game is freezing at random with no error codes or warnings, can still hear game music but not move or open any window. Does not resolve on it's own by giving it time. It's happened three times this morning since 9:15am EST.

Issue: Seeking help! DDLV is bricking my PC since Aladdin update??!!

So as the title suggests, since the Aladdin update, my Steam version of DDLV has been bricking my PC which kills my monitors to black screen (no power) and freezes up my PC where I have to force shutdown by holding the main power button and turning it back on.

There’s no set timescale of gameplay for when this happens, could be straight after loading into game or anywhere up to a few hours of seamless play.

There’s also no consistency to what might be triggering it as it’s random when it happens; accessing my mailbox, walking forward, picking something up etc etc…

I’ve owned this game through Steam on the same PC and same install since it was in early access and never had this issue before this update.

I’ve verified the Steam file with no issues found.
I uninstalled the game and did a fresh install on a different SSD in case my M.2 was failing, which it’s not.
I’ve lowered the settings down to medium incase it was any of my hardware failing.

None of these actions have resolved the problem.

This only happens when playing DDLV as I’ve had no issues playing other games at any time, such as Diablo 4, WoW (with more add-ons than I care to admit), Assassins Creed Shadows, to name a few recent ones, all on max settings without any issues even when playing for multiple hours per session.

I can’t find anything on Google and I’m at my wits end as it’s preventing me from playing a game I enjoy a lot!

I’d be super appreciative if anyone can offer any solutions or insights please.

I own the base game with both expansions and here are my PC specs:

ISSUE: The game crashes to desktop (stops responding) on iventory opening. It's happened 4 different times in the last 3 days. Running Windows 11 on an i7 with 16GB, dedicated RTX 2070 8GB
