Issue: For several months now when planting or harvesting crops it's randomly freezes forcing me to quit and restart the game. It has made it almost impossible to do gardening. Now it is impossible all together. I can pick 1 plant and then it freezes....never had this issue until the last update prior to Mulan....I've lowered my graphics to the lowest and it makes no difference besides making the game look bad. I play tons of games and this is the only one that has this issue...

Does the storybook expansion not show carrots on the map when garden has grown? Would be nice to see those again

Issue: The characters freeze on each crop when I want to harvest. The character stops at least 3 minutes before taking another crop. Harvest has become nearly impossible!

Issue: Planting, watering and harvesting are bugged so I just ran a test. I planted 100 cauliflower (on my own, not with a machine) in a 10 x 10 plot. I then watered them all. A couple of minutes later a few individual and a couple of small groups needed a second watering. About two minutes after that a few single cauliflowers, nowhere near each other, were ready for harvesting. A few minutes later, the last 50 I planted were ready for harvesting but the first 50 still are not ready. This has happened using all the same plants, two different plants and a variety of plants, in small plots and large plots. Some plants that should be ready first were not, some that take longer were ready very quickly, some took over two hours.
Update: it appears that plants watered by rain take way, way longer to mature than plants watered by hand.

Issue: Character buddy with gardening does not give me extra items when I'm gardening in Storybook Vale. Have to keep switching to multiple buddies just to get the extra crops. They just stand there and don't pick up anything extra.

Issue : The yellow memory orb linked to Hercules by gardening in the Elysium Fields doesn't appear at all in the three parts-memory whenever I get one yellow memory. No coins given either.

Issue: finished harvesting some crops and then when I (thought) I was finished I went inside my house but went back outside because I heard Merida wasn't finishing harvesting extras and noticed these things floating and I have no way of making them go away now

Planting a seed doesn't show up on the actual plot you're wanting to start with, you have to wait until the next plot is highlighted, which causes confusion as to which will be planted, but it does plant the first one you're standing before, not the highlighted one. Either way this wasn't an issue for me before.
The lag issue with harvesting and planting is still present where when you're holding down E or the mouse button after about 3 or 4 normal actions, it'll just sit there with your character not moving for a while before restarting itself back up.

Issues 1 - gardening companions freeze or must be nudged to give extra crops causing extreme lag. Harvesting takes 3 times as long as previously.
2 - holes dug and not planted disappear next day.

Vale Crops are not animated. Valley and Eternity Island yes, but Vale Crops have 0 motion. And yes, also no rain watering on floating

For Storybook Duty "Plant 5 Vegetables IN THE STORYBOOK VALE":
If I teleport to a floating island and plant a pumpkin there, it will count toward the Duty.
Not clear if this is intended.
If the duty were simply to "Plant 5 Vegetables" I could see that working, but the duty specifically says "in Storybook Vale".

Issue: when it rains on the sky islands, the plants and crops that need watering don't react to the rain. They stay dry rather than getting watered by the rain.

Issue: lagging so that I cannot pick up items especially those that are time sensitive. Major lag with gardening companion giving extra crops. Winds up lagging the whole game even when I make sure to sync, even after shutting down and completely restarting my Switch and software.

Issue: I can’t water this tile. I have half energy (so I’m not empty), but the indicator that I can water it doesn’t appear—I can obviously dig there, but I can’t water the planted plant.
Update: The rain watered it, and now I can harvest it.

Issue: i just harvested 600 pumpkins and about 150 of them are ring squash?? Idk if this is intentional or a bug but i thought i’d mention it

Issue: when equipped with shovel, digging is laggy/slowed down to the point of being unplayable. When auto digging while holding a, shovel skips over random plots.

Issue: Planted crops have disappeared from both expansion pack realms. The OG Dreamlight realm still has my planted crops.

Issue: One crop acts watered but is showing as not watered. This could also show as a visual bug as well.
Update: The next watering cycle came around and the specific spot watered just fine. So it was a one time problem. But just in case it happened to others.
