why dont we just add a gameplay option to turn off chat bubbles when your doing something other than wondering around the valley
-youll still see your npc having conversations while walking around but while in furniture mode and camera mode they just hide
and if you do leave the option open they actually finish their conversation and make it look like a comic book strip while in photomode
but def gotta fix this bug bc it has now spread to furniture mode

Streaming to Steam Link app on Apple TV and using a PS5 controller, in Furniture Edit mode, the controls default to keyboard/mouse until button input, which updates temporarily to PS5 controller Default Layout but actual control is limited/non-functional. The input type switches back to mouse/keyboard once a controller button is released, and back and forth from there with little to no control in the menus. I "fixed" this issue only by unplugging my PC keyboard.

Not sure where to put this, but, is the object limit in settings suppose to 0? Mine is the same as the valley. I know there is no way storybook world would be 459/600 and 2716/3000. I deleted a lot of stuff and put up lampposts and 12 garden of 30 crops each and some vintage chests.

Spices and flowers in Storybook Vale can spawn in areas where you cannot put down furniture, e.g., Trial entrances.
Because of this, the camera automatically moves away from the area.
In turn, it means I cannot use Furniture mode to pick up spices or flowers that have spawned in such locations but cannot be picked up normally because other items like tree roots are blocking access.

Issue: Snippet traps are not showing up in furniture tab when picked up, I've looked through my whole list of all furniture and they won't show up. I even searched the word "trap" directly after picking one up to move it, but could not find it in my list despite double checking the name (wanted to ensure that I searched the right keyword, which I had) all that showed up was the Venus trap. It's like the snippet traps don't exist once picked up, luckily I was able to hit the undo button before I backed out of furniture mode or I would have lost a trap. Definitely a problem when they cost Storybook magic to craft!
Edit: I made a new trap to make sure the one I tried wasn't glitched or something, and the same problem arose. You can place new traps, but after they're placed they disappear once picked back up.
Edit 2: Problem Solved! exit out of furniture mode and go back in, it will be there! Thanks for the fast response ❤️

Issue: You cannot rotate the camera if the Furniture menu flyout is open - the right joystick to control camera is simply nonfunctional. It doesn't control any scrolling within the Furniture menu, so it should be able to be used to control the camera regardless of the open/closed status of the furniture inventory menu.
This was not always the case, and used to function as expected - I believe it stopped in 1.10, when the ability to choose between "old" and "new" camera mode controls was introduced. However, it is particularly an issue now that there are 16-point rotations, as it is now often faster to rotate the camera to control the initial orientation of a furniture item to place in the world, rather than placing the item and then rotating it with button controls.

PS4: various issues encountered while decorating in the sunlit plateau. 1-2) I’ve encountered a bunch of items whose hit boxes seem to increase when rotated so that it’s really hard to snug them up against the walls of a biome. You can see that with both the animal kingdoms lodge and the ei jungle cluster that there’s a bigger clear box around the item’s actual footprint preventing me from placing the item where I really want it. 3) relates to that, the footprint of the animal kingdoms house will not let me place even small items underneath the eaves. I’m trying to place one of the ground lilies from Tiana’s collection. 4) finally, the sunlit pillar pond allows grass to clip through really badly.

Issue: Not a bug, but I think that for aesthetic reasons, a lamp that is ground-placable only (not on tables and such) should also be placable on the top of those castle towers that are currently sold in the moon stone shop. It makes no sense to place a desk lamp up there but not a torch or ancients' lamp post or such.
