Trying to pick up the books to access the door causes my game to freeze. My character can sort of move but not really do anything. I can make her go onto the glider but doesn’t go anywhere and can’t open menus.

I had played for about an hour and then started voting on dreamsnaps. After the second one vote the game crashed. This isn't the first time this happened.

New update and back to regular crashes/game freezing again. Digging a hole, game froze. just wandering around, game froze, voting on dreamsnap, game crashed. Not to mention the glitched flowers in storyvale that freeze the game and cannot be picked up(even with a vacuum). Edited to add, just unlocked elysian and wandering around, game froze.

Freezes and gets stuck under bridge. Flowers that spawn there also make it freeze when trying to pick up. Have to restart game to be able to move again and then does the same thing when you try again.

Freezes under the bridge and can’t complete Merida’s Archery and Archrivals quest since the Yellow Tale Cone Flowers are only under the bridge now since yesterday even after restarting the yellow flowers are only under the bridge. Restarting does fix the issue when the avatar can’t move around and the menus are able to be pulled up

Removing inkies sometimes doesn't affect Storybook Duties task or count of inkies removed for Remove Inkies duty. Sometimes restarting helps but then it stops working again. Restarting doesn’t always fix the issue though.

When I try to collect these flowers my game completely freezes up. I have to force close the game from the home page. I have also tried to move the flowers in Furniture mode and I’m unable to click on them.

Since the update mine has been crashing at irregular intervals --- voting on Dreamsnaps will crash it or just doing regular grinding.

I am having tons of issues with the expansion pack the past couple days with it locking up in the middle of quests, characters tagging along not picking items up, screens going black and never loading, flowers never respawning, scramblecoin freezing up only in the storybook vale, amongst other minor issues. Can you please fix as I have always loved this game but frustrated with these major glitches! Thanks!

I don’t know what to do. I’ve restarted the game. Restarted my console. Took my SD card out and restarted my game/console. Put it back in, restarted both. Nothing is helping. I’m scared to delete the game & redownload it

Had two different crashes trying to talk to hades. As soon as I talk to him the game just freezes and I need a complete restart. I think it happens maybe after I’ve started the game in the new area, then I scene changed to my house or a different map. Then when I come back and talk to him it freezes upon first interaction.

4 times already this morning, game just randomly freezes and I have to force quit and reboot the game. No error codes or pop ups, I’ll just be moving one moment, and then my character stops moving. I can move the camera around for another minute or so, but then that locks up too. This has been happening in Storybook Vale.

Multiplayer Mode continually crashing or freezing since the new update

Anytime you progress in a quest, it pauses before catching up and gives you the next part of the task. Sometimes completely freezes or doesn’t register.

Issue: Since update my game will softlock every once in a while when leaving a game of Scramblecoin. I will have control of my camera but not be able to move or open any menus.

I bought the latest DLC, prior to that I had no game issues, bugs etc.
I pinushed Timon and Pumba. Once I was sent back to the Valley, the game stalled at the welcoming screen for Pumba. I shut down, restarted and the game loafs right into the same screen. Just tried it again tonight, same thing.
(Side note, wings don't work anymore)

Issue: I was playing the Vale expansion and the game just kept getting laggier and laggier before it eventually just crashed on me while I was running around.

Issue: My game no longer lets me load in. When I open my game and press Continue it will start loading and then a popup saying Game Initiation Error #1 appears and freezes it from loading.
Can you please fix this issue within the next update on Dec.4th? This is preventing me from playing my favorite game

Issue: Initialization Error 1
When I load in, the game says “new game” for a second then my cloud save pops up for confirmation. When I confirm and hit continue, I get the initialization error 1 on the loading screen. Clicking customer support crashes the game. Reinstalling the game did not help. Restarting the switch did not help.

Switch ... I contacted customer support and I was told to power on and off.. then clear the cache.. check for corrupt data ... uninstall reinstall... But none of these things has fixed anything. I am still just getting this error.... "game initialization error #1" Please fix it..I'm very unhappy my game won't load, it was working great. I've spent a lot of money on moonstones and the first dlc .. I just bought the latest dlc and now I can't play it. Edited to say this is the 5th day and still not working.

I wouldn’t say that mine is a crash. It hasn’t done that in forever but what is happening with game now is that it keeps freezing. I tried to leave Scrooge’s shop. Having trouble with teleporting from Valley to either expansion pass.

Performance issue (didn’t find a thread on this for switch)-game is extremely laggy particularly when hanging out. This started happening after game no longer auto saved to cloud which was the Timon and pumba update. Has gotten even worse since storybook vale update. I always turn my switch off and remove from dock after playing but it makes no difference.

Still crashing when I try to visit the 13th floor of my main house straight from the 1st floor. I have to go up one floor at a time, and while that doesn't take very long, it's very annoying!

My game crashes every time I try to enter my house. Happens in each realm (DV, EI, SV). I just started Pumbaa's level 7 quest and have quest items in my bag, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd like to be able to access my house again for inventory

Extreme lag. Can’t pick up multiple things at once without freezing. Shadow textures around me keep flashing on and off while I walk, which hurts my eyes. Furniture mode freezes/crashes game when trying to rotate any house. These performance issues started for me after I reached the final bugged story quest in the Vale and couldn’t move forward. Now everything is lagging.

13th floor is bugged. I can access every other floor, but 90% of the time I try to go to the 13th floor, the game crashes.

How the crash occurred : I can't explain how it happens exactly but when playing with a NPC, suddenly it's impossible to move the main character.
The only thing working is the camera as in the alternance between a first and a third person sight.
The only way to resolve is to quit the game and re-enter it but sometimes you have to do it several times a round... 🤔

- I’ve noticed that since this most recent update that crashing has become frequent again. Please fix this in the next hotfix update. It’s becoming frustrating to play.
- Game is lagging on Eternity Isle while playing on this specific console and it never used too…

Issue 1- when I first start the game the star path menu messes up and either goes blank on one side or jumbles the writing up so I have to restart, then it resolves until next time I play.
Issue 2- when in the vitals mines and hanging out with jafar I mine the rock spots and it crashes so that my character freezes and I can only move the camera angles.

There is no overall "performance issue" thread for switch so this seems to be the best place.
Since SBV launched and the scrooge shops updated to carry different stock, the load time to get into scrooge's store is massive. Many times ive waited upwards of 2 minutes just for scrooge's store to load. For clarity, my switch lite ONLY has ddv installed. No SD card. None of my valleys are fully decorated or even close to it. Load times have always been elevated for the switch but for scrooge shops and fast traveling map to map, they've gotten longer. Its frustrating at best.

Issue: for the past 2 days the camera keeps drifting down to ground level (or below) or up to directly overhead without touching the controls. This happens during fishing, talking to characters, and other activities and messes up the tasks we’re trying to accomplish. The game also keeps soft locking when trying to talk to characters, and we have to force quit
