Issue: I just bought a new computer (have the game on mac and switch) so i downloaded everything including the new dlc and went to put in my cloud save information and its prompting me to make a new avatar on my account when i already have days worth of game play

Edited to Add This issue thankfully has seemed to fix itself. I was able to save and sync today.

Issue: no connection. Forced to play offline. No cloud save of course.
As I launch the game is saying that: cannot receive from STEAM, info about your account. Connect or continue offline. To connect is imposible.
Because of this, I can't claim the daily blue chest.
This issues started after was installed storybook vale.

Hey, does somebody know why I have this Problem? I play DDV on my switch but I wanted to log in on a different platform today, I tried steam and Xbox but I always get the message ''Failed to log in with this email address because there is another account registered to it already. " and I don't know why I get this message even tho I am just connected to my switch. Can somebody explain?

Hi I have been playing on my switch lite and normal switch. I wanted to play on something better so got an Xbox for my bday. Bought the base game and the 2 dlc. On my Xbox it will not sign into my cloud. It says email already in use. So I tried to unlink on one of my switches. That allowed me to sign in on Xbox but then it was trying to wipe my cloud save to my new game , luckily I managed to get it back through my switch but not good. Really not happy right now.

Still not fixed... steam link cloud.
Had a hope for this update to have it fixed. But adding lots of new things to the game instead. Yes its great, i love it. But lok into issues pls.

Issue: it's frequently stops saving. (This started with the dlc release.) I can cloud save manually and then load the cloud save instead but that only works if I catch it by checking every 5 seconds. You can't do the manual save (other than cloud) if you're having this issue. And return to title screen doesn't work you have to force quit.
Replying to my own message to add: if the game can't connect to the internet I can't get around this issue and save to cloud. I lost 10 hours of progress last night because of this. Everything else was connected and my internet connection was strong but the game was offline and I couldn't get it to connect. I'm not sure why ps5 seems to be doing this but it's annoying.

Issue: Cloud Save Conflict Error #5 keeps popping up when I try to load my cloud save. Tried to update my game but Xbox is not letting me check for updates as it says it has the latest update (it does not) and the game won't update on its own.

Issue: Not my issue but a friend of mine lost progress after unlocking the Lagoon (I'm assuming that's apart of the Storybook DLC, I don't have it so I'm not sure) and didn't get the materials back

Issue : I lost all my progress since Tiana update more than 103 days of playing please fix the cloud save we can't play a game like this without saving our progress it's a lot of time and work

Issue: my wife was playing dream light on my Xbox so I gave her my other Xbox so she could play it on her on console but when I sign in her cloud save account, nothing happens. I don’t know how to get her cloud save to show up on her Xbox. I’ve looked everywhere for answers with no avail. Someone please help

Issue: I have also been unable to cloud save today. I'm also getting the "Failed to upload Cloud Save to server" message. There was no issue yesterday. Now that I've closed my game to reopen it, I'm getting this message that I can't play without playing offline.

I have been playing on switch. Bought a Asus Rog Ally last night and the game and both dlcs again. It will not let me connect my cloud save to transfer over, it is making me start a new game.

Same as others: cannot save to cloud. Getting error "Update Cloud Save to Server #10". However, I would like to also tell that I didn't get the issue resolved by changing my device's wifi into smartphone mobile data. More tips for troubleshooting are appreciated.

Issue: won’t load cloud save. “Cloud Save Conflict Error”. when i press Ok, the same error pops up over and over. i am unable to select anything on the menu because the error keeps popping up. because of this, i can’t unlink my cloud save so i can try to link it to a different platform. 14+ days of gameplay.

Issue: I've been unable to save since exact time of the update yesterday. Manual attempt to save displays error 'Failed to upload Cloud Save to server'. I've tried rebooting and I tried several times throughout the day. I have noticed that at times when I go in, it falsely says that its synced but then when I do a manual save to cloud, I get error again and then the out of sync recalculates back to yesterday's refresh.

Issue: This issue just started today I know I have a save file but every other time I start the game up it gives me the new game option instead of continuing option.
And this is never happened before so I don't know if it's something that is a Playstation issue or if it's something that is a Dreamlight Valley issue. But now I have to be very careful when starting up the game because I do not want to have to restart.
