The red fly traps are spawning.

Realized that this post and the photos i attached contain possible story spoilers for the DLC. Please DNR if you dont want any sort of spoilers for the DLC

Issue: This isn't necessarily a bug/glitch... But honestly I realized something while posting about this issue in the game suggestion area and I realized there may have been a mix up in somewhere in the production pipeline with resources in the DLC that was unintentional.
Are the ways you source pearls and plastic scrap switched? Note: I'm not referring to the rubble that you break w the shovel. I'm talking about the fact that you acquire plastic scrap by fishing for it and pearls from digging into the ground around ancient's landing.
The reason I believe this is possible:
- plastic scrap is needed for 19 crafting recipes vs pearls only being needed for 2. (I'm not adding the shovel upgrade recipes in this count for pearls given those are both one time recipes)
- scrap is needed for 8 quests and pearls are only needed for 2.
- you get plastic scrap from rubble/rocks around the area which is similar to how you receive clay from bones in the savannah or snow from the ice shards etc etc. this would seem to indicate that you should be able to get scrap from the ground like you get clay and snow from the ground
- right now the ratio of getting scrap from fishing is.... Challenging given how much we need for specific quests (Looking at you oswald) and way over the top if you want to craft a large number of trolley tracks or even shelves depending on how much you're able to hoard. especially after oswald empties you out. twice Compare that to pearls which are much easier to get a ton of if you use a few shovel potions and it seems like the ratio is reversed.
- Pearls being an item you receive from fishing makes much more sense then digging them up.
I could be completely off the mark and mistaken. But this really seems like these two got switched
