I keep getting digging spots appearing through rugs I have placed out. I cannot dig them until I remove the rug.

I have a rock at the edge of The Ruins in Eternity Isle that won’t let me remove it. I noticed it last week (before the update), but it’s been a while and I still can’t get rid of it.
