Platform: pc Microsoft store
Device: rog ally
Issue: controller mode still doesn't work for me. I can play handheld mode but not controller mode. This issue started around 4 updates ago I keep reporting this issue. The main menu loads but can't enter game. Stays stuck on main menu. I've given up playing because its been months of controller mode not working. All my other games work just not dreamlight valley so I know its not a controller issue.

Switch

Can no longer glide because you changed the method. The left bumper is impossible to press while using the left joystick if you have mobility issues with your thumbs like I do.

You just changed the glide function to be the left bumper and that makes it extremely difficult to steer at the same time. Please move it back to the B button. I can’t glide anymore because I physically can’t press the bumper with my left finger while moving with my left thumb. My left thumb does not bend or move properly so I can only use the joystick at an angle that does not allow me to press the left bumper at the same time.

I’m honestly heartbroken right now. I have played this game literally every day aside from about five days total since day one in September 2022. I cannot believe you made a change that prevents me from using basic functionality of the game. I’m begging you to revert this change.

Issue: finding it hard to sprint now with the control changed my hand actually starts to hurt after a while trying to hold down the left bumper and move the joystick it just ruins the gameplay for me. I didn't see much complaint about the sprint being the B button so I'm not sure why it was changed a better option would have been to let us pick what controls we wanted. Please either give us the option to choose what controls we want or change it back to the B bottom

Issue: It is nearly impossible to use the glide feature on Switch especially if you're left handed. This was a poor choice to change something that didn't need to be changed. Please, I BEG you to change this back ASAP. Extremely inconvenient and very unnecessary. Disappointed!

Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max
Touch screen is so messy when i try to build something it doesn’t i have to cancel to get back to do it again
When i drag tiles to build path or delete it it doesn’t do it it freeze the drag thing i have to cancel and do it again
Also when i try to play item in certain place it doesn’t do it, it keeps moving to other place and not be place!
And much worse like Zooming in and out or drag the camera everything with touch is so messy

Platform: Nintendo Switch Issue: I can no longer use the glide feature due to the button change. I have an autoimmune condition that causes frequent pain in the joints in my hands. This button change makes it impossible to glide anymore since it hurts my index finger to hold down the button. Please make it an option to have the sprint button set to either the b button or left bumper depending on what the player prefers/needs.

Please PLEASE just revert the controls back to how they were. Not just gliding that's the issue. I keep pressing triangle to put items into storage, why is it now square? Why change the controls so late into the game?

Issue: all of my loaded tool potions are gone! What did you do? I had like 50 picka
xe potions loaded and similar on the shovel. Why? Will they be returned?

Issue: Gliding... I was going to say I could not glide anymore, untill I see more and more people saying it's the left bumper. This is honestly the worst change you could make... the B button did nothing before beside be the BACK button. so now I'm left not using the glide because like others I can not place my finger like that for long. If there is no option to change controls, why change them in the first place.

Issue: I’ve tried restarting game and pc. Connecting and disconnecting controller. Will not work on the game. My controller is fine and has worked for other games. The control guides will show up for my controller but when I press a button, nothing happens.

Edit: I got my controller to work only by using a wire. Wireless will not work atm.

Issue: the forward motion will keep going even after I stop pressing the toggle button. It happens randomly and whether I’m in a menu or walking around. This does not happen when I’m out side of the game or playing other games.

Issue: Controller support has been an issue since an update some time ago and still not addressed. I cannot use tools. There is no amount of mapping I can do to get it to work correctly. Now after the most recent update the decorating menu is glitching - the expected mapping sometimes works as intended and sometimes does something completely different. Also why on earth would you change glide to LB? It’s horrible. Fix. Controller. Support.

Device: Dual Shock 4 Controller
Issue: Sometimes the controlling in the Inventar doesn't work. We thought it might be an Issue with the connection but it's only Happening with the Inventar. Everything else worked just fine and it happened a few times for a short period of time (around 5 Minutes). Turning the game or console off and on didn't work.

Issue: The game don't recognize my mouse in menus. With a controller I get in the game. There I can use my mouse but If I go in the inventory, for example, the mouse is again not recognized. And in the inventory and the other gameplay menus like dreamlight et cetera i cannot collect food or dreamlight and so on. I have this problem since update 8. Would be nice if this problem is solved sometime

Issue: there is the one square in the wild tangle (before the lagoon, where you originally find rapunzel) that you cannot put anything or dig. There is nothing there, but I can't place a building or plants or furniture or anything on it. It's blocking my ability to decorate.
