Issue: When I open the linked house chest I am unable to back out of it using the B button on the controller or using 'esc'. I have to close the whole game and restart it. It happened before the update and its still happening. Any other chest works as intended.
update: its working as intended now. I guess i just needed to give it a couple minutes to work properly again.

Issue: Daisy daily challenge. Everytime one of the conditions is bond to s Disney serie/movie the system won't recognize I met the criteria. As you can see on the screenshot I clearly have used furniture from Encanto, but he won't accept it. Because of this I already missed out on a lot daisy coins.
And Daisy's Daily is not even daily.

In Mulan Realm:
Game has frozen and had to restart. AND controllers are also super laggy making it almost impossible to catch the salmon.

EDIT: Glitching is everywhere not just Mulan Realm. I can’t catch fish for the star path duties 😭

Another BIG issue: villagers showing in their home but not appearing there… cannot complete star path duties with Mickey or Donald at the moment

The Switch is so extremely laggy. It takes 5-8 seconds just to transfer stuff. Like with the Mulan quest. The lag in this update is awful.

Issues that I've noticed so far from the recent update as of June 26th, 2024.

Issue #1: Like others have said...while in "Furniture Mode" the entire screen moves with the cursor instead of having a free cursor that can move freely without moving the entire screen. It needs to be put back to the way that it was before when we had to hold down a button to make the entire screen move with the cursor. I'm not sure who this helps by removing the free cursor option we had before. But it needs fixed asap!

Issue #2: While using the "Zoom In/Out" feature while in "Furniture Mode"...the camera is overall slower than before the update & it gets slower & slower the more you zoom in. (Plus the cursor takes way longer to span across the map even while zoomed all the way out.) Now I understand that this overall change was most likely to help with aiming the cursor....however it's WAY too slow & if it's gonna stay this way, we NEED settings added to the settings menu for us to be able to adjust the speed of the cursor ourselves. It wasn't perfect before...but it was 100x better that what it is now! (While at least it's a mess due to being in combination issue #1. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad if issue #1 wasn't happening?)

Issue #3: While our avatar stamina bar is yellow...the avatar will still walk at normal speed as if the bar was not yellow. Can temporary fix it by gliding for a moment...but it'll only work for a tiny bit & then go back to slow walking speed. (It also feels slower as well?)

Issue #4: Can't hide "UI Hud" while taking pictures with in-game phone. This is a big problem when trying to set up pics plus it's a pain for those of us that have used the "No Hud" view for screenshots.

Issue #5: While in "Free Cam" using the in-game phone/camera...the "Zoom In/Out" controls conflict with the new "Hide Touch Of Magic Objects" option. (In other words there is two things tied to the same button that are being toggled at the same time.)

I took and submitted several shots and got the submitted message, but when you go to Challenge screen it won't highlight. The one on the voting page and the rewards page is working. I also tried restarting the game and it's still not working. Also the camera in furniture mode is way too slow. I know it was changed and Zoom In/Out will change the speed, but it's not really working and it is painfully slow.

Furniture mode is not working properly. It is painfully slow & can only place 1 piece of path at a time by hitting the A button. Cannot click & dream to place large areas of path. Also it takes forever tot click on something like a tree to remove it.

Actually, just tried planting and had to plant one at a time. Could not keep planting as usual. Everything is super slow lagging

Issue #2: memories can’t be selected and scrolled through in the collection menu

Issue: Lost access to the house skin "Sweet House". I was decorating my valley and had recently moved Vanellope's house and the Sweet House from the Valley to Eternity Isles. When I came out of the decorating menu to save my progress, both Vanellope's House and the Sweet House disappeared. I couldn't access either within the house menu, and they hadn't turned invisible either. I restarted the game and regained access to Vanellope's house but not the Sweet House. The only way I can access it is if I edit my player's house skin, I can't find it listed under the house skin menu to place down in my valley.

My issue is the lights no longer light up when it's dark out. Some will but for the most part it's dark. As well as all my rides for the theme park. Here's a video. I have to hit my lights twice before they come on. It's like they are on but it's not showing as on.

That happens to me frequently on Switch. At least once a day I have to close out my game and restart it.

The game also freezes on me at least once a day: the camera will pan, but that's the only button that will work, my character will not move nor interact, nor am I able to open any menus. It's extremely tiresome having got force close and restart so regularly.

Issue: My running speed is now half of what it used to be - basically not much more than walking. Why?
I cannot use Glide because it is only bound to the left SHIFT key, not the right. Being left-handed and not a contortionist I therefore cannot use it. I have repeatedly asked that they bind it to both the left and right SHIFT keys but I never hear back from them so I guess they couldn't care less.

Platform Switch many issues. Game crashed when breaking second rock in Mulans realm. Then got error 101 message when reloading game and screen froze. Game froze when interacting with memory orb outside Remys realm. Similar to above, a memory orb has spawned in the doorway to Enternity Isle docks, so cannot pick it up. Oswalds train tracks now not alligned (have to redo in edit mode) and mining carts no longer sit on the track. As mentioned, unable to purchase premium items. Earlier had purchased star path for 2500 stones, when looking at Stitch bundle, backed out of the bundle, defaulted to star path and saw my ammount of stones dropping, think by 800 so looks like I have inadvertantly purchased the extra to fully complete the path - there was no confirm screen.

Issue: when trying look at my collections, the game won’t let be scroll. So for instance I want to see all the critters I unlocked. I go to the all areas tab, select the critters tile, but then I can’t scroll down. I use an Xbox controller. The only way I can scroll is by shaking my mouse and using that to scroll.

This is a carryover from the previous version or two of the game (although was not present when the DLC was first released)

This has been going on for idk year or more on all consoles
The winter palace originally had an interactive button that triggered fireworks and snow but after about a month it stopped working no warning
The interact button was no longer showing up

This recent update the interact button returned but as you can see there is no effect options
I’ve sent a few tickets and never got straight answer
I feel hesitant to buy premium. Shop items with effects like that if they can just remove them without warning or explanation

Wish they’d at least acknowledge it

I never do touch of magic, so I took out a couple of the new trees and then it worked. Then I was going to take one more snapshot after Donald wandered in & it gave me the same error message. After he wandered away I was able to get my snapshot.

When using the tokens in star path on moonstones it hits it twice taking my tokens away. So when getting enough tokens from the duties to get moonstones through star path ex. Cost 10 tokens on 1st page for moonstones it takes 20 tokens instead
Only gives me 100 moonstones but I lose 20 tokens from the error.

DREAMLIGHT TASKS
So I was on dazzle beach hitting rocks looking for shinys, when a notification popped up saying I completed 4 rocks in Valitalyis mines. That's not right I was on the beach.
Now I'm having a hard time finding Time bending Parts, and looking at the inventory I've found these parts time and time again and it's not counting them in the Dreamlight Duties.
I think it's gone to pot.

Just a heads up. There is a visual glitch with the moonstones from the star path. It collects it twice. But it only gives you one. It will show that you have more then you actually do. It's not game breaking but it sent me for a loop for sure. Can post a video if I need to.

Is anyone else have this issue? I can’t collect my DreamLight Points for this objective Remove Small NightThorns(I’m working on removing 3k for the achievement and had all ready got this small reward back when I first started the game, but it won’t allow me to “collect” it to get to the next tier…)
I even unplugged my console(s) over night(this was happening yesterday but I brushed it off, assuming it’d fix itself but obviously not 🙂‍↕️).

Issue: I wanted to do my daily boutique challenge and one of the requirements for wardrobe was “Gliders”. I saw that we have a new tab where we can change our gliders due to the surfboard now being an option. However, no glider seems to have the ability to be added to a mannequin, the same way accessories and tools cannot be added to a mannequin as these all have to be activated first before you see them. Therefore, it is impossible to finish any boutique challenge asking for “Gliders” as a wardrobe requirement.

I am having problems with my lights not working properly at night. If they are on and I go inside, when I come out they are off. Some nights they work fine and other nights I have to use the slider bar to change the time to get them to come on. I never noticed it until I used the slider bar recently to brighten things up for a pick. Then I noticed that most nights, the outside lights aren't on.

Windows pc. Mulan star path broken. The last star path I was unable to play to completion due to characters looping dialogue. Would be great if you could add days to the star path when it’s broken. As people can pay real money to access them and should therefore have the original time limit without days lost to technical issues. Thanks

The map will show a character in their house. Go to the house and they aren't there. Leave the house, go in again, repeat, repeat, and maybe they'll finally show up. Sometimes not. The whole time the map is showing them in their house.
OR
The map will show the character somewhere in the world. Go thre and they aren't there yet the map still shows them there.
Characters not on the map at all - nowhere to be found. Sooner or later they finally show up but it's mostly later.

Issue: Stuck on loading screen while exiting Mickey’s house.

I’m hanging out with Scar for the starpath. I went to Mickey’s house to look for memory items for the Inside Out event, there was one, I grabbed it all good. Tried to exit Mickey’s house and I’m stuck on a black loading screen with a white spinning star, listening to Mickey’s music. It’s been several minutes. The game hasn’t crashed. I’ll have to exit the app and reload it to get out.

The Game constantly Lags and Freezes, especially when changing animations (getting or using tools, the stamina sprint etc) but also just when running/walking normally. It is starting to become unplayable!
Clean Installing helped for a few minutes, it has since gotten worse

I cannot post a screen shot or video as this is intermittent. I have tried everything from changing my controllers to moving slower. Im on the switch platform. My character on both mine and my daughters will walk jerk back or do a full circle turn or face me and walk in place but not move. Its getting rather annoying. Can you please fix this. This has been happening only since the new update.

Issue: multiple issues related Mulan's missions/clothing items. When I equipped the training weights as an accessory it would not let me actually equip it in game, I had to restart the game to correct this issue and unequip/equip it before going back into Mulan's realm. Also twice now when I have changed my outfit I get stuck in the wardrobe tab and cannot get out of the menu, I have to force close the game to do anything further.

My game seems stable but for some reason I don't know, it is all colored in black and white... My TV screen is not decoloring the display because in other games, it is full colored as expected... Only Dreamlight Valley is causing that weird behavior.
By the way... The game is not affected by any others issues and remains fully playable!

Was trying to do Daisy's challenge today, but one of the wardrobe categories was "gliders". I assume these are the ones included in the Stitch bundle, but I have not purchased that bundle and the default dreamlight magic doesn't appear to count. Plus even if I did have a glider equipped would it show up on the mannequins? This category probably needs to be removed.

I have rides that wont show the interact button at all the dumbo ride and the teacup one and when i first set them all up the newer rides ran all the time i never had to turn them back on even after logging out but now everytime i leave that area they stop working and i have to keep turning them back on which is a pain, I have two rides that work ok, thanks for listening.

Issue: I am having a problem with outdoor lighting. Many of my houses do not light up at night unless I can force them. I bought the Reflection of China house tonight and put it with Mulan's house and the Temple and none of them are lit. If I go to the Reflection of China in the Premium Shop and toggle the day/night switch to night, it turns on the lights in those three houses. Great, but when none of those houses are in the Premium Shop how am I supposed to get them to light up? My street lamps and other outdoor lighting never come on on their own - I have to turn them on and it takes two or three times to get them to turn on. Very frustrating!

PC : Mulan hangs out with me no matter what. i opened the game and she was following me without me talking to her at all. i then talked to her and it said "lets hang out" but she was already hanging out with me without asking her too. so i hung out with her then told her bye, she still followed me. she is not fully leveled up and she is not progressing in leveling. when i do hang out with her. i hung out with walle to harvest my pumpkins. she still followed me. walle did follow me as well and gave me more pumpkins. i restarted the game. still the same thing. i may have closed the game last night while still hanging out with her. i dont remember. but now shes not leveling up anymore and there is no stars above her head even when i am timebending. i am in a middle of a quest with her though at level 7

Please please please PLEASE fix the mannequins. They are broken. They save outfits, but if you are wearing accessories (Wings, earings, bracelet etc) they don't come off when you go up to a mannequin & select wear. Whatever is on the mannequin will go on the avatar but any wings, bracelets etc stay on the avatar. Please fix. Its just super annoying. Thanks

Issue Constantly crashing when I try to do just about anything. Cannot access the main menu, sell items at Goofys, entering the mines, opening memory balls, playing scramblecoin with anyone that has the bubble above their head, cannot place Mulan's shadow box either. These make it impossible to play. I can't continue Mulan or Mushus quests or sell items to empty my inventory. This is so aggravating since I couldn't even get the game to load after update 10 and couldn't play for 2 months. This last update let me in but now all these crashes. What can be done?

Not had a reply from support from a month, and have raised 5 tickets since and still no reply

Game crashes doing any sort of task, goofy stall, buying scrooge, using automatic gatherer, opening a chest, so far 15 minutes is the longest I can play without a crash

Can't have anyone visit me in my valley. It will cause their game to crash

Scramble coin has glitches amd not.shown the board

Dreamevent tasks not tracking correctly, will do a fishing task amd then after a crash it will revert back to 0

But support can't do anything to help because they won't even reply to me, great way to look after your fan base who has put in over 1000hours into this game😊

Issue: The task for the Star Patch is to collect two shiny citrines and I do this and the task isn’t completed. This also happened before with cleaning up, cooking or catching fish.

Issue: Portion of Frosted Heights appears to have an invisible barrier and is cut off from being decorated normally.
Unable to grab a screenshot or video at the moment but was told it is a known issue that others have reported.

Issue : I travelled to Eternity Isle to make a tomato farm, i tried using the shovel but it doesnt work. It doesnt highlight the plot, as i held down my mouse to continously dig out a plot, it turns out i didnt dig anything up ? Video wont work.

Platform Switch: what is the point of giving us the option to remove someone from the map if they keep reappearing moments later OR don’t disappear at all? They don’t have a quest so why won’t they stay gone?

Issue: i have mentioned it already a few times but since the start of Eternity Isle the camera mode is not good, it keeps changing the angle by itself at a lot of points on every location, it is so annoying with dreamsnaps and this already has been there for 8 months now, i know it is like this on PS5, Xbox series and Switch, i have lately not played on PC

Issue: Can’t unlink cloud account on switch and Xbox.

I tried deleting my gameloft account to get around this issue and created a new account to start a new game on steam. But that also gave me a different user ID than on switch and Xbox which are the same. I can’t sign out of my old account on Xbox or switch to link my new account. Not including a screenshot as it will show personal information, but switch and Xbox are linked to my deleted/closed gameloft account email. Steam is linked to the new, correct one. Can’t change user ID or cloud account on Xbox and switch, it got stuck since I can no longer log out of my inactive gameloft account. So I can’t use cloud save anymore and haven’t had any luck with gameloft customer support

#[ARCHIVED] Update 11 - Not Working As Intended

Issues that I've noticed so far from the recent update as of June 26th, 2024.

Issue #3: While our avatar stamina bar is yellow...the avatar will still walk at normal speed as if the bar was not yellow. Can temporary fix it by gliding for a moment...but it'll only work for a tiny bit & then go back to slow walking speed. (It also feels slower as well?)

Issue #4: Can't hide "UI Hud" while taking pictures with in-game phone. This is a big problem when trying to set up pics plus it's a pain for those of us that have used the "No Hud" view for screenshots.

Issue #5: While in "Free Cam" using the in-game phone/camera...the "Zoom In/Out" controls conflict with the new "Hide Touch Of Magic Objects" option. (In other words there is two things tied to the same button that are being toggled at the same time.)
