Same as everyone crashing every other minute either the game will just close down or I have to close it down as it just goes to black screen, nothing loads, cannot progress anything. The game is just completely unplayable right now and if manages to work for a minute or so it just crashes again before you can even get a chance to save any progress. Not just on loading screens or doing actions, furniture mode etc, even just walking around the valley causes the game to crash.

In the main valley the game was unplayable. Crashed nearly after every action. I somehow managed to get to eternity isle, the game works perfectly there except for some graphic errors. When I try to get back to the main valley the game crashes immediately after trying to leave the castle. Fast travel doesn’t work neither.
I hope I don’t miss out the star path items because most of the tasks can only be done on the main island. 🥲

Xbox Series S through Gamepass no DLC - I’m crashing every couple of minutes. I can’t go in/out of buildings because when I come out it goes to a black screen but I can still hear music playing. I can’t buy/sell at stalls because when I go to leave the stall it freezes & crashes. I can’t use my hover board or run because it crashes. If I do manage to get a task done, I can’t go to the event tab & collect my tokens for completing because when I scroll through the tabs it freezes & crashes. Then when I get back on & I finally make it to the event tab, it has started that task all the way over because it’s not auto saving. And I can’t go to the tab to hit save because I scroll through the tabs & it crashes. Literally everything I try to do crashes my game out. I’m frustrated because I spent the 3,300 moonstones for premium star path because I’ve never had issues like this & usually by now I’m halfway done with the star path & now I don’t even know if I’ll be able to get half the rewards. I’ve already done both types of XBox shut down/restart, I’ve checked my connection, & I’ve made sure my XBox is completely up to date & none of that has helped at all.

For anyone else having this issue, after some playing today I’ve noticed that my game crashes significantly less often if I’m playing on ||eternity isle|| and not the valley, but ofc you have to have the dlc for that, and sometimes I still have to go to the valley which makes it crash again.

Since the update, the game seems to be struggling with memory management/usage, especially in the Valley (mostly decorated, but still below the item limits), which has suddenly become very stuttery and laggy (it seems to get slightly better if I get rid of all villagers, but that's not a solution). Eternity Isle (not decorated and pretty much left as it was initially = much less memory usage) is fine.
Also, entering/exiting buildings can be problematic : entering and then exiting a villager's home in the meadow has resulted into my character spawning into an empty meadow, where every asset then started loading in, one at a time, every cinq seconds or so. Another one just led to a black screen.

So now my Eternity Isle story progress has halted due to quest bug. My Main Valley wont allow me to progress Daisys quest as I only get a minute to proceed and saving will crash the game. And the premium shop crashing means I can’t partake in purchasing this weeks awesome items.

As soon as you want to do a quest, look at the map, or enter a place, the game freezes or closes by itself. Impossible to do the star path: the game closes during quests, doesn't save progress, we all have to start again every time. I paid moonstone for the star path and it's impossible to move forward. I went 5 time to speak with Kristoff and still need to restard again! I get frustrated with starting over and over again. Crash every time you go in the castle, change place on the map, or just looking the map after 5 minutes of playing! I hope you will compensate for the loss of time and frustration that the game is causing at the moment. Normally I would have already finished my Star path.

I just deleted a lot of objects so I could disable the increased item limit. Now the game is a little more stable and can be played for a while. Seems like the game just can’t handle loading all the graphics so it keeps crashing.
It kind of makes me sad because I love decorating and it’s really hard to not go over the unique item limit especially with all the new beautiful furniture added to the game 🥲

Xbox One S : clearing the valley of all villagers definitely help with stabilisizing the game and the stutters, but the game still loads empty biomes when you exit a building, and only then loads all the various decor assets one by one, slowly, with related hiccups. Clearly a memory management issue.

Here’s live footage of a crash happening, this one is due to picking up a memory orb. (Note that the screen goes blank and then crashes, most of the time. Sometimes it’ll stay blank and we have to force quit or it will stay frozen for hours)

XBox series S - base game through game pass with no DLC - post hotfix update: The game is crashing the same if not worse. I still can’t go inside of a building & then try to come out or I crash. If I move too quickly (use hoverboard) I crash. If I harvest or cook or anything like that too much I crash. Xbox X|S no difference in memory management post-hotfix. I switched from using my Mac over to trying the game on Xbox again hoping for better stability, since I no longer have a Windows PC.
Instead I'm getting a consistent freeze every 20-30 minutes if I'm in out and of menus too much or stay on the map screen too long.
I don't think decorations or anything like that are a factor, because I don't experience any lag or stuttering. Gameplay is smooth in the Valley and the Isle. Something strange just seems to be going on with memory management and the menu/map screens.

The task was completed, however, so it crashed past the 40-min mark, at the very least.

My DDV won’t open on my Xbox X.
Upon first opening it loaded up to the Menu Screen then closed out as it was “loading” my game; upon the second & third time opening it, it stayed open for maybe ten Seconds then closed right out.
I tried resetting my Xbox Series X, unplugging it for 15+ Minutes then plugging it back in and turning it on; went to try and load the game for the Forth time and it still closed directly out on me before I even hit the Main Menu.

Travel too fast to the water? Crash. Manage to finally pull something out of the water? Crash. If a button or fish actually makes it out of the water and you try to save, it crashes. Bring a fishing buddy? You'll Never make it to the water before it freezes or crashes. I've spent more time looking at the long loading screen today than playing. It took me 27 crashes to finally take a dreamsnap. The game is broken. When we submit tickets we get auto responses that Gameloft is aware of the problem. It's nice that they're aware. It would be nicer if they did something about it considering how much money many of us have spent on this game☹️

Crashes every 5 minutes, the game does not save, impossible to go to the menu, look at the map, use the portals to change biome, leave houses, Scrooge, Remy without crashing. I did it 3 times if not 4 and everything is good for my side and seeing everyone with the same problem there must be a lot of people having « console problems » ... I have 5400/6000 items in my valley, I removed everything from the players' houses to « give it a chance » and nothing works. Still crashing. We have fountains and attractions that are animated and we don't want to use them because the game crashes even more! That not normal. The hotfix didn't fix anything.

Sadly there is no errorcode or something else. Just crashing back to desktop. Sometimes you see a little window loading when it crashes, but its not even one second visible before im on desktop. Without clicking something. So not sure if this should normally show an error code.

I bought the deluxe edition so not playing via gamepass. The game crashes at least every 10mins. I took days to get the ‘spend 20mins with…’ character done for the current path. I cannot work on the current path or parkfest as it’s impossible. I’ve played this since the beginning. The product was good so I bought it. Then it went downhill and no longer works. It is ridiculous to have to spend a couple minutes rebooting every 5 -10 mins to then log back in and redo everything that was just lost when the game crashed. I love this game and have done every even and dreamsnap but it has become an exercise in futility and is now simply causing major anxiety rather than helping relieve it. You really owe this community better. We’ve been waiting all month for resolution while events we can’t complete tick away. Please help us and fix this game.

At this point, it looks like they don’t care about fixing this game for us. It’s been over a month with no communication about any patches. Platform: Series X, and PC (Xbox Ultimate GP)
Crashing every 2 to 3 minutes. I've troubleshot on both, I'm trying Steam side. I'm expecting a game crash

Still crashing on Xbox S game pass, praying this new update fixes all the bugs. But if not I think at this point I will be deleting. Just unplayable. Haven't managed to do anything for over a month now. Daisy's shop and quest lay untouched. Couldn't complete any of the buttons quest and the measly 500 moonstone compensation is laughable.

Furniture has been disappearing for about a month now, i cant even take my dreamsnaps because of the bug and its getting infuriating

Crashed twice within 20 min. of gameplay on game pass. Couldn't take final picture of dream snap when it crashed 😦.

Logged in, opened menu, navigated to event tab to check the dream snap requirements, game froze. Nothing responds, can still hear raining and music in background but have to hard close game from Xbox menu. Was playing for about 30 seconds. Literally turn on game and try almost everyday but quit upon first crash which is never more than 5 mins. This was shortest yet.

Since update 10 the game crashes every two minutes. Impossible to play. This is ridiculous and unacceptable in my opinion. Gameloft turns a deaf ear and kicks in. I give up, I don't play anymore

I seem to be having a crashing issue. Playing on XSX. The game is Crashing and sending me back to the Dashboard shortly after I load into the game. Its almost unplayable at this point.
