The entire “Laden / Shop” tab in the menu is not loaded. So you can't buy the Premium Shop, Star Path Activation, Bundles and Moonstones. - PS4

PS4: this update seriously busted things guys. Can’t vote, can’t save, can’t use the map, can’t turn off scramblecoin after a crash corrupted my data and I had to do the cloud save. I’ve been on for 45 minutes and done nothing but reload the game!!!!!!!

Game keeps crashing, especially when trying to exit out of the menu with the circle button. Game has also crashed when trying to place Daisy's house, exiting out of character interactions, completing Star Path and Dreamlight tasks, as well as at random. This happens so often the game is basically unplayable at this moment in time. (And yet I keep trying to play regardless, hoping for a different outcome)

I can not move without crashing I have tried 14 times. The one time I was able to I got daisy but as soon as she was at well it crashed and didn't load my save so have to restart the quests.

My game keeps crashing before the loading screen finishes loading. Suggestions keep saying to update the game or my system. Both are updated to the lastest & it keeps crashing before the loading screen ends.

It crashes if you open the menu, close the menu.
If you use the map.
If you leave a house.

Error code CE-38700-8

Yesterday couldn't get past launch menu.

Today after downloading a previous save from 2 weeks ago, I have the update. I start in Eternity Isle where there are no issues, as soon as I want to go to the valley, error code returns. So can't do daisy or Oswald's quests as they require the valley to do it....

Another alpha wall found in the same area! (clip)

The first one is still there, even after a few days of not playing the game.

Further malfunctions/abnormalities:
Area: Wild Jungle.

Above the promenade and lagoon. The green area that is still part of the promenade!

When teleporting Dreamlight to the Island of Eternity, it sometimes happens that the color or shader doesn't react properly at all. Only when I walk out of the area does the shader load properly. It may also be related to the weather effects... It's just guesses.

The characters (no matter which ones) have their heads shaking from time to time.

Otherwise, no other errors have been found or crashes. (knocks on wood)

Issue: Game started crashing while attempting to place Daisy's house. Game continued to crash 3x while placing Daisy's house. Daisy's house (pre construction) is placed but not yet built, because game consistently crashes a few minutes after loading in, whether or not I am performing tasks. For example, game crashed more than once while avatar was standing idle.

When starting dialogue w a character the Text box won’t show up/no other buttons can be pushed causing me to restart the game

I am also having severe lag, wack loading times & crashes since the update, I wish there was an ability to turn down some graphics, esp rain as that’s when I most often crash. It’s unfortunate playing now bc I can’t turn the cam, open menus or walk w/o lag, very sad

Upon first downloading the game I was able to play for a few hours but then the crashing started and now within a few minutes of turning the game on it crashes. It will just keep crashing no matter what. I get a couple of minutes of gameplay and it crashes again. I have, of course, done all of the things like uninstalling and reinstalling the game doing a hard reset on my PlayStation, unplugging it and disconnecting the Wi-Fi etc.

Still can't access the valley at all without the blue screen error code. Whilst eternity isle is working perfectly. Annoyed as can't do the eternity isle Oswald quest as it requires the valley 😞 nevermind anything to do with Daisy

I’ve read some ppl can be on eternity isle and not have a crash for awhile. I also read if you go offline it could help w/ less crashes 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have yet to try

Not a crash, but there’s not a performance section to put this in. Anytime I’m working in the furniture mode for a longer period it gets very laggy. Even when I exit furniture mode it stays that way. Only fix is to restart the game.

I have never had the game crash this many times. I am lucky to go in, do Daisy daily challenge and the I go outside and it crashes. I can't even play for five minutes. How am I suppose to get path duties done if I can't even play for five minutes. If I try to force it and keep going.... Well the other day I had five crashes before I gave up and stopped playing. Funny enough it is never when loading, always when out in the valley

I can play perfect in the isle I've timedi it and it's been over 2hrs,
but go to the valley and crash! I was doing an experiment, thinking maybe it was Daisy’s house, so I moved her but nope, I just went to put on Minnie’s top and crash!
Something is wrong in the valley and like you @proper flame I can’t get through the star path. My duties now have to be in the valley.
Maybe once we've finished Oswald and her quests 🤷‍♀️

Edit - Well scratch that idea! I need to go to dazzle beach to continue w/ Daisy!
Tried to go see her and crash!
It’s starting to get madding!
I sent a complaint. Received a generic response that they know there is a problem and that they are working on.
If this goes any longer, they better extend the star path.
And I just got another glitch. Went to open a blue chest and it said there was northing. Tried it again and got my 50 moonstones

I'm having the same issue; From what I read, it's affecting most PS4 users and some PS5s. I'm less worried about the Star Path yet, as I always seam to finish it with time to spare. What I really want are this week's premium shop Items and soon they will be gone. 😦

It keeps happening randomly.
I could harvesting plants.
I could be running over a biodome.
I could be fast traveling.

Doesn't seem to matter what I am doing now it just crashes & suggests updating the application/software.
Everything is up to date.

Issue: my game seems to often crash when I open up the in-game menu. I tend to open and close the menu sporadically though. Like when I want to review my starpath tasks, see the map, or look at my quests or Dreamsnaps, the crashing will occur randomly.

One time it crashed after I got out of furniture mode and switched to my backpack inventory. Another time, it crashed after I opened a Blue Chest. So this crash doesn’t seem to be exclusive to just opening up the menu.

The only good news is that these frequent crashes haven’t corrupted my System save file yet. (File corruption has happened to me several times in the past.)

Since the update my game is crashing. It does this almost as soon as I've started the game.

I did try rebuilding my database (even tho this is not an issue with any other game ). It was fine for a few hours, then it did it again.
I haven't played on PS4 for over a week now. It just want stop crashing

EDIT: Removed mention of Switch being fine. That's also crashing.

PS4: after fast traveling to the main valley from the isle and immediately CRASHING 3x I gave Daisy one of her daily gifts and the game just froze on me. The only thing that worked was the camera. Had to force close.

PS4 I had two corrupted save files and a hundred crashes since this uodat. I have been playing since November after this game came out and I had one corrupted save and maybe two dozen crashes in that entire time.
@honest frost I don't have the dlc though. No Oswald or ertinity island for me. This issue is in base game/valley problem. My dailies are literally like this (pick all the apple trees, save, cloud save. Fish five times, save, cloud save. Etc)

Is there any news on when we can expect a fix? This is nearly as bad as the crashes from after the very first update during early access. There’s no rhyme or reason to the crashes but it’s driving me crazy and I’m about ready to uninstall because it’s so hard to progress with anything 😔

Issue: Game is crashing more frequently than ever before since the May 1st update. When I reload after the first crash, the game will crash within a minute or two of reloading. After several crashes in a row, it’ll corrupt my save file and I have to reload from the cloud. I’ve only ever had my game file corrupted twice before and it was a long time ago so the update is the cause of the glitch.

Issue: updated the game for hot fix and the game is still crashing with the same error code (CE-38700-8) Crashing when exiting furniture mode, opening and exiting menu ( dreamsnaps and star path) . Still significant crashing on PS4 when using the menu in the main valley. 2 crashes out of 3 attempts. My valley is littered with memory orbs that I can’t pick up because of the crashing. Plus finding characters for starpath duties is nearly impossible.

Worked on the day of the hotfix. Though I only played for about 10 minutes. Today I'm not getting past the loading screen again. Tried 3 timesm and once again it damaged my save.

I payed for the premium Star Path and I've not been able to do it. And I'll probably not be able to complete it. So I've lost moonstones because of this and I'll not be the only one

Despite the fix my game is still crashing on ps4. Have played since the game was released and was fine until the latest update. Even had a data corrupted message. Thank goodness for cloud save. I would have been devastated to have to start over.

PS4: After installing hotfix yesterday I am still unable to even get into the game. On the loading screen (with new image with Daisy now) it loads about 3/4 of the way and then it crashes with the blue screen and error code#CE 38700-8. No changes to status of game play since Update 10 - cannot play!

The hotfix did nothing for me and crashes. I can't do anything. I literally get on, go to daisy's boutique (which is now broken because she won't give me a challenge), go to scrooge store and buy new things. During this it crashes once and often twice. The. I try do as much duties as I can before I get too frustrated with the crashing. Today it was trying to cook a dish ten times and after the third attempt cooking I gave up. I will try again later when my patience returns and cook the dish two or three times, save, cloud save. And repeat..... Be aide this game is broken, unplayable, and now become so frustrating I can't use it to wake up anymore

Update did not work. PS4 crashes as soon as the loading screen is done, loading. Tried 2x and troubleshot. I believe there is a corrupted save file in cloud save. I have deleted the save data on ps4 and it's still on cloud save I cannot access. I have a back up account on my ps4 that was not played before the update and it was saved. I played it a few days ago with no problems, it never had a crash that caused corrupted save files like my main game.
I hope this helps fix the issue.

PS4: Game is still crashing after the hot fix. Here are things I can’t do in the game due to crashing: open the menu (view quests, save, or view event), cook, go to any stall (goofy, kristoff, or moana’s boat), or open memory orbs. I found some work arounds because the game doesn’t crash while indoors or in Eternity Isle but a lot of the game is unplayable since I cannot play in the main valley. Most crashes corrupt save data so playing the game is too much of a risk right now (I almost lost 400+ hours of gameplay 2x this week).

PS4 - I’m stuck on eternity isle as well. Plus I can’t finish Scrooge’s quest, everything I need is in the valley, same as Daisy.
Wall-E has a new quest but it’s not showing up in the menu, and everytime I go to him, he says the same thing.
And my furniture seems to disappear, even though it’s there

PS4: after triggering an interaction with Scrooge, we got into the interaction position, but there was no quest, gifting, or chat options on the bottom of the screen. I was unable to press any buttons on my controller, and I couldn’t back out of the interaction. The only thing I could do was move the camera around and press the Home button for my console…In the end, I had to close my game. (My game did appear to auto save just before I closed it, and my save file doesn’t appear to be corrupted, so I think my save data is okay.)

Wow NEVER had this happened before. I crashed so hard, it didn't even give me a report problem. It acted as it does when I close application only way faster. I was fishing in sunlit platue and picked up a puzzle piece. It loaded to show me what I got and before the image loaded, I was looking at home main page of my PS4.... I was so confused and thought maybe I had hit the middle PS button and it took me a minute to realize that it had a hard crash

PS4: I had a sudden black screen crash happen multiple times while I was decorating the sunlit plateau. I was immediately booted out of the game and back in my systems Home Screen. This occurred 2-3 times within 30 minutes. My game’s data is saved, but whatever I was doing with my valley in furniture mode was reset to before I started decorating. 😭 (I’m going to have to step out of furniture mode to save my game after placing down 4 items at a time, because apparently the game can’t handle the placement of multiple attractions and tables in one go. 🥲😮‍💨)

Memory orbs also cause crashing, they are littered about my valley right now as I attempt to still complete the start path despite it all. Game crashes when I attempt to buy or sell from Goofy’s stall and I just ran out of sugarcane, so I can’t make any cupcakes for the event. Can’t progress with Daisy as game has crashed when trying to enter the boutique. Eternity Isle runs fine, only the main valley is struggling.

PS4: Still have a lot of issues even with the hot fix. Like previous comment Eternity Island is okay but the Valley is so bugged. Memory orbs, opening the main menue, entering or leaving a house/shop cause crash 99% of the time. Can't collect the item for the New event because game crashes all the time and when I come back I have to search for the items all over again. Sometimes game crashes when I try to start it.

I’m on PS4 and just experienced a very hard crash. The game has been getting stuck a lot when I try to talk to characters (I have to restart game to remedy) and I’ve also been experiencing furnishings disappearing (the furnishings are still there and will disappear/reappear when using furnishing mode)…..but this latest crash really takes the cake. I attempted to pick up a memory fragment obtained by watering flowers and the game just shut down. No blue screen, no crash report option. Upon restarting the game, I was notified that the save data had become corrupt. Thank god it recovered the cloud save data. This is becoming very frustrating.

For the love of all, fix the crashes connected to opening and closing the menu please! In the span of fifteen minutes it has crashed three times, once when opening the menu and twice when closing. I have figured out (where I can) what not to do to avoid crashes elsewhere such as not cooking outside, not picking up puzzle pieces. But what am I suppose to do, not open the menu that has everything besides clothes and furniture... Its like Russian roulette every time. I open the menu, save, cloud save, and try to do as much as I can such as figuring out quest, where someone is on the map, and dutites of all kinds.... Going so far as to write notes down ..... This HAS got to stop. Not in a month or two with the next update. Get this figured out and properly figured out and send out a hotfix that actually fixes this

Platform: PS4 the hotfix was not really a fix. I understand that it cannot be fully done quickly, but it seems to have worsen. As now when I interact with goofy and kristof stall I crash instantly. Going to the main menu to look at quests or even where a certain character is, is a big no, I have to chance it and hope it will not crash. I have bought the fully package for the star path and I have not made any progress and it took me like 20 times to hang out with Mirabelle. It is getting Ridiculous. If I am not able to finish or do the star path I would like a refund of my moonstones and it is not my fault that I cannot complete it. And the same with the new park fest now happening. I can barely make my way though the daily cupcakes without it crashing a few times on me. And I still have yet to complete scrooges weekly task for her as well. So please do another hotfix.

Game crashed quite a few times in a row. But I think I figured it out. I was wearing the purple top daisy asked me to put on for one of her quests, so I changed it quickly before the game crashed again. And so far so good, no crash yet. 👍

You do know that the cupcake quests are Daily quests, right? They reset every day. (Just incase you might have missed this fact. Sorry about your bugs though. My game keeps crashing and getting corrupted, so we are all in the same boat of struggling with bugs right now…although, some may have it worse than others. 😭)

PS4: Suffering from crashes with absolutely no rhyme or reason this is just asample of what cause crashes- any attempt to fast travel, opening memory cores, planting and sometimes without any reason at all

Mine opens, on the isle, went to try my valley and kicked out when I walked out of the castle. I can’t do any of the quests. I need iron, flowers etc, but they are all in the valley. 😭

It finally happened…my game is now crashing immediately after the game’s loading screen (after initial start up of the application.)

This didn’t happen before, but it’s happening now. My save file is also getting corrupted frequently at this point. I’m able to restore it with a backup, but still…this is getting a bit scary. 🥲

Issue: Freezing when entering Scrooge store on startup
Why does the game freeze on startup when going to Scrooge's shop? I start up, go to Scrooge, attempt to enter and it freezes. Restart the game and then I can enter. Every. Single. Time.

PS4: as I was trying to feed a Fox, my game crashed. After that, my game keeps crashing after the opening loading screen. I can hear rain in the background right before it crashes…so I think my valley can’t handle loading me in when it’s raining. ⛈️ 💥🎮 😭 this has been one of MANY occasions where my game can’t open past the load screen.

Issue:

(see picture)
On the Island of Eternity, the paths can no longer be laid or lead under the grass. The paths cannot be completely deleted either.
Sometimes this leads to the Construction menu freezing and you can't do anything except exit the game and close it.
It also seems to me that certain types of bushes (for example: flower bush of the peaceful meadow) cause a bug or completely reset new designs... Which is very frustrating in the long run. - All flower bushes seem to cause this problem!

Another problem (which I have already mentioned here, but didn't have a photo to hand) is that the shader on the Island of Eternity doesn't always seem to load correctly.

Addition to the landscape construction menu:
Placed items disappear after exiting the construction menu or the items become invisible.
And reappear when you go into a house and leave it again.
In addition (this is a guess), it seems as if there is an overload when building/decorating the village, so that the menu saves previously placed items but does not overwrite them if you have a different idea when decorating.

Update PS4: After 1 or 2 crashes the third attempt I managed to be able to open the menu only in Scrooge's shop. I was also able to travel to eternity isle through the castle "by foot" and the game is not crashing on the isle. Walked very slowly giving game time to keep up as it seemed kinda twitchy. When attempting to go back to the valley the game took long time to load and crashed before loading the valley. The issue is in the valley somewhere. Maybe the rides or daisy's shop. Idk but that's the only change I know of to my valley after update. It did crash before adding daisy's shop.

PS4: I have not been able to load the game since the May 1st update. It crashes 3/4 of the way loading. I have deleted it and reinstalled it, initialized my PS4 several times now still the same error. If I reinstall it I get a corrupted data on a black screen message and it tries to load but crashes at the 3/4 of the way. I have written them several times and they just say they're working on it. After the two hot fixes I only got the new start up screen with Daisy but still crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

PS4 was able to be on my valley for the first time in weeks! Was on for about 2 hrs before it crashed. Now I try to go to my valley and it kicks me out just as I’m about to walk out of the castle or the game goes back to the PS4 main menu
