Issue: Tried talking to Maui while in Eternity Isle and the user interface disappeared. The only thing I could do is move my screen around. I had to close and restart.

Issue: My game crashed after placing the Boutique, and has now crashed 3 times in a row after just having started the game, but that may be since I placed the Boutique closeby and my current hypothesis is that that building is causing the frequent crashes 😕 (Didn't see any error code)

Edit: The 4th restart I immediately fast travelled to Eternity Isle and travelled back after a couple of minutes, and the game hasn't crashed yet.

Platform: PC/Steam Issue: Game crashing after approximately 15/20 playing time each time I’ve played since the update. About 2/3 of crashes only crash the game, and I’ve seen an error message flash up and disappear very quickly. About 1/3 of crashes also cause my PC to crash and I need to turn it off and reboot my whole system. Most times it’s crashed I’ve just been walking about, sometimes after collecting a new item (including the ‘does not compute’ quest items). The most recent crash I was making fibre and rope, but I’d just made some of the new crafting items.

platform: pc/steam issue: having major fps issues, especially when after exiting furniture/building mode indoors. fps tanks like a stone and won't go back to normal till i head outdoors. game crashes after i exit a game of scramblecoin (getting a "game has stopped responding" message before doing so) and now even in general my fps has gotten worse. 😦

Platform: PC/Steam Restarted recently, game crashed once I talked to Minnie after placing her house, right before it did the cut scene with the Fairy Godmother's house. Went back in, cut scene played immediately. Then went to the pumpkin house, tried to go inside, game crashed again. And it did this on both my main and alt account.

Issue: Crashing anytime I exit a building, especially Daisy's Boutique. Crashing any time I interact with Daisy. Red exclamation point. Just thought, only time it has crashed with Scrooge's store was after also interacting with Daisy inside it.

Issue: 'This App Can't Open' message pops up and then takes me to the store, where it says reinstall, but I have it installed already. When I clicked reinstall it just grayed out. Edit: I uninstalled the game hoping I could reinstall it, but now the install button becomes grayed out, and I see no progress of installing...

Issue: Playing on Steam Deck, sorry for the bad picture. My game is constantly crashing and showing me this screen before it goes down. It happens either immediately when I try to step away from my house after recovering from the last crash, or I can get maybe a biome away and it crashes. It started suddenly today, and all I've done is unlock Daisy and place the ToM shop. I just came back from taking a break from the game so there is nothing prior I have done in a few months. I can't play at all now.

Additional Note: If I can teleport to Eternity Isle quick enough, I don't appear to be experiencing crashes there. It seems to be tied to the Valley.

Issue: Sorry, not quite a crashing issue but I didn't see a Performance Issue thread for PC. The game runs just fine for me everywhere except for Frosted Heights. The game has been consistently laggy for me anytime my character enters that biome, and I haven't been able to figure out what's causing it. It seems to happen anywhere in the biome, it's not isolated to one side or anything.

Like a lot of others, ever since the update my game continually freezes. Doesn't crash out to desk top, just freezes and I have to close it. Various activities and minutes loaded in when it freezes. Sometimes it runs for 5 min or less and freezes, sometimes could be an hour. Doesn't matter if standing idle or in the middle of an activity. Never had a freezing/crash issue before now.

I am also experiencing crashes involving the same screen as others have posted, and it is only in the valley that it is happening. It doesn't crash on the isle. It usually happens right away when entering the valley or a few seconds after i start moving my character.

I've had to restart the game (basically Alt+F4) twice so far today and I've only been playing maybe 15-20 minutes. It's laggy, keeps freezing (especially when leaving buildings), and eventually reaches a point where it's totally frozen and crashes. I thought I was going to be able to finish the star path this time with no issues b/c I started early! Thanks for the curve ball, guys. -_-

Platform: Steam- Cannot get the game to load. It is sitting at a black screen with the words and says failed to get the account. EDIT: Did a restart and it looks like Steam library is possessed by the devil. Will wait til morning to see if issue keeps going on.

Crashing is worse now. Still, the only place I don't crash is Eternity Isle so I'm completely stuck there which impedes my progress on the Starpath. It's been weeks that I've been stuck on certain duties because of this. If this isn't fixed soon, I'll be coming for a refund.

Issue: I tried making the new cupcakes and using the station ended up making my screen fully black resulting me into restarting my game. (I ended up having to use auto-cookers in the meantime, but if I didn't have those it would've been broken for good.) Its happened several times, and it doesn't like fast traveling to Eternity Isle. Please fix this soon, its getting annoying and frustrating fast. I've never experienced crashes before on PC, so something must have gone wrong in this recent hotfix.

Xbox S and PC - crashes every 5 minutes game is completely unplayable, please fix, its not fair, i want to do the new quests and not miss out. My game as literally crashed six time since 10.18am its now 10.48am. I have even tried playing on different platforms.

Issue: Multiple crashes in the last 30 minutes of play. Twice after cooking on campfires (using two different ones) and once after simply saying hi to Mickey. With cooking, the screen goes black and I can't do anything. My only option is to force quit the game using Task Manager. Please fix, it's driving me nuts!

Issue: The game is constantly crashing. When it crashed the first time, I'd been playing for more than a couple of hours. Now, every time that I try to launch the game, it crashes almost immediately. I only glanced at the error it gave me, but it said something like "unityplayer.dll". I'll update this post, if possible, with a screenshot of the error, if it happens again when I try to play later on.

update - I took it upon myself to uninstall / reinstall the game, and I played for a few hours last night with no issues. I tried launching the game today, and immediately crashed.

Issue: Game crash after leaving Scrooge's store in the valley. After restart it crashed on load. On second restart, game loaded normally, but I noticed a few items I purchased weren't there. Went back to Scrooge's store and purchased those items again. The same crash occurred; and crash on restart occurred a second time as well.

Issue: Before I could start it there was connectivity issues, so I tried to reconnect. It did so I started the game and then it crashed.

Platform: Pc/Xbox Items going completely invisible and unable to accept quest from any of the quest charachters. It does allow me to talk to them and then doesn't give me the quest and crashes again as usual. I'm not losing out on this event because the game is broken. Please fix this.

Issue: game has immense stuttering and lagging while mining, in Remy's restaurant, and after entering then exiting furniture mode. Might be my hardware, of course, but settings are according to the recommended specs for resolution and refresh rate, shadows and distance are at low, general graphics at high but tested lowering to medium without noticing any change. Graphics drivers are up to date. PC is higher end than the device I used to play on before, didn't have any issues on the lower end computer (was used before the latest game update). Current hardware should be more than capable of running the game smoothly.

EDIT: was able to quickly hold the escape button to bypass the video, and it seemed to work

Issue: adding video to show how laggy the game becomes when using furniture mode inside a building (true for both player's house and Daisy's shop, wasn't tested elsewhere) and when cooking anything still inside buildings. Fix found is to completely exit the building to have the game load a different area. Lag remains in between rooms of the same building.

Issue: Game crashes withing 3 minutes of starting up. Sometimes it only takes seconds, game doesn't even load in properly and such a scenario. Other times it take up to 2/3 minutes and than crashes suddenly. There is not specific thing that happens to cause a crash as far as I can see.

In the valley, I get well over 100 FPS. But upon entering Caves & other interiors my frames drop to unbearable levels. making the interiors unusable.

In my home, if I access the furniture menu and then close it, it also drops frames, but only after being inside for a while or opening the furniture menu.
