Platform PC/Steam NPC stops following even though they are suppose too. NPCs around town when you talk to them will randomly move head back and forth very rapidly and get stuck in that animation, my player character even did it once.

Issue (Include NPC Name): I was mining with Scar in the mines, and he started pushing me into walls and corners to proc the additional mining loot. I was unable to push him or get past him, so i told him we'd hang out later and this ABSOLUTE TYRANT LAID DOWN IN FRONT OF ME. Blocking me from doing absolutely anything. He finally left after a couple minutes.

Was in a conversation with Remy in the villager of the month quest with Mike and it has me stuck post conversation and no buttons are allowing me to exit. Will have to force quit. Also had issues with NPCs walking away or disappearing when starting an interaction

Issue: I'm not sure if this is intended behavior or not, since I've never seen it before, but Goofy is fishing over the edge of the Frosted Heights into the water below.

Ever since I got Mike and Sulley, everytime I want to talk to ANY villagers, they jump back and I have to select them a second time. Even Goofy's stalls do this and the valley visitor device.

Issue: In the quest Have Your People Talk To My People, during the comedy show, Mike's speech bubble is tethered to him, so whenever he moves the whole speech bubble moves, for the whole comedy show. Vanellope's speech bubble is untethered and stationary. I'm so motion sick from trying to read Mike's dialogue. 😅

Issue: No option to hangout with Mirabel and she is always stuck inside her house. I’ve had this issue since the last update ( Winter Star Path ) and submitted a ticket but no fix still.

1st time I walked in, no one was there, nor waiting outside when I left.
2nd time, Sully was there, no one outside when I left.
3rd time, MI was there, no sign of Sully inside or outside.
4th time no one home but both waiting outside when I left.

Issue: was doing the quest “Acts of Care” and when the forgotten was talking to Mickey to give him the flowers their head was just glitching or something. Same whenever I went to talk to them just after this to finish that part of the quest before moving onto helping goofy.

Issue: I bought the new belle add on and now she doesnt exist in my game. She isnt on the map both in dreamlight and eternity. I've restarted the game, tried the villagers thing, tried changing outfits back and nothing she is completely gone

Mirabel & Venelope were missing the last two days for me. Today Venelope is sleeping in her house, but still no Mirabel. I've never moved their house's, and only rotated one of them, but that was a month to two months ago. Both of their pictures are greyed out on the map of who's in the valley. Also submitted a report.

Issue: a lot of NPC’s (Belle, Beast, Fairy Godmother, Mirabel, Kristoff, Olaf, Stitch, Scrooge, Mother Gothel, all 3 lions, Ariel and Ursula) don’t show any favorite things of the day either on the collection menu or when speaking to them

Issues: Heads glitch a lot (scares my kids but gives me a good laugh). Additionally, it's hit and miss if my characters follow when I'm hanging out with them. And they don't spawn by me when I fast travel. Sully, I could walk straight through at one point when he wasn't following me while hanging out. Characters have also been able to squeeze into small spaces I can't access, and then they are stuck.

Issue: during the I got a Dreamlight quest. Rapunzel and Gaston are suppose to be talking but they are only doing what can only be described as dancing.

Issue: Multiple characters not spawning where they're supposed to be. Showed Jack in his house, went in, not there, left and repeated 5 times. Was not in home, valley, Remy's, or Shop. 3 of the times it said he was supposed to be in his house, the other 2 there was just no icon for him anywhere on the map. Happening with Mike/Sulley, Fairy Godmother, Jack as I mentioned, Ursula, and Minnie that I've seen. Was happening before and after I used the Scramblecoin toggle.

Issue: The game showed me that Maui was in McDucks shop, then he switched to his house. I didn't see him in his house. I had to enter and exit 5 times before he showed up outside of his house. Then I couldn't talk to him outside I had to enter and exit his house for another 5 times before I could talk to him. (Never had this issue before with any characters.)

Issue (Gaston): He has disappeared completely the Isle and Valley during the quest of "The Wild Tangle's Swarm" while waiting on him to re-center himself. Could not find him to finish the quest "Directive: Danger of Eve. Had to reload game 3 times to get him to return.

Issue: Anna and Merlin are in the restaurant just hanging out and walking around. Can talk to them but can't get them to hang out. Beast is not in there but when I walk out, he is standing behind me. I've gone out and in several times and both issues have happened every time. Merlin is in his house at the same time and I can talk to him there and get him to hang out. He won't follow me into the restaurant and when I walk back out, he comes running from his house.

Issue: Entering game for the first time, Goofy is set as if we are hanging out (despite just logging in.) Attempts to actually have him hang out with the dialogue option and stopping it after does not fix the issue or stop his following. He has now become a permanent companion upon start up and I do not want it

Issue: characters not showing on map but if you go to their house they are (sometimes) there even though it doesn’t show them there on the map.
I’ve also had it happen where if I go in their house and back out they then appear.
This has happened with Mike & sully, beast, & wall-e (so far)

Platform Xbox series X….Belle… She got stuck on some pumpkins. I was harvesting a batch and no matter if I shoved her or not she kept going back to two pumpkins kind of close to the back wall of the forgotten lands. The same one the those pillars are for the one main quest/where the OG cooking pit is in FL. She would do her walking animation but not actually go anywhere. Then today she was gliding from Dazzle Beach up to the plaza. Her back to that wall and moved like a ghost. She is the only one I’ve noticed acting weird

Issue: Certain character’s icons will not show on the map. Not always the same ones and usually it’ll be two or three at a time whose icons are completely missing. Removing and adding them back doesn’t help, not even restarting the game.

Issue: It's 8 in the morning, I hear Maui say "why do mornings have to be so early?", so far it's normal. But I just heard Vanellope yell "Time to sleep! See ya!" like she's supposed to say at night.

Issue: Npc aren’t in their houses/shops/restaurants even though it shows that they are on the map. If I enter a house, they’re not there so I leave and they’re either standing right outside of the door to their house or they’re now entirely somewhere different on the map. This has been any issue since the game dropped on Day 1. Y’all ever gonna fix that mess? Geez.

Steam/PC: Frequently running into issues where Mother Gothel is shown in her house on the map. I go to the house, go inside, and she's not there. I go back outside, she's not there. The map still says she's inside (and when I go back in again she's still not there), or she'll have just vanished and be nowhere on the map at all.

Issue: Ursula in Vanessa form has a...berry? hanging out behind her. It's only visible when she is not moving, otherwise it is hidden by her skirts when walking, but I followed her around for a while and it persists

I'm hanging out with him, but as it shows in the video, Beast leaves when I start fishing and comes back once I finish, without giving extra fish. His level also seems to not be going up since there are no stars showing up over his head when I fish.

Sometimes Jafar's icon shows he is in Chez Remy on Eternity Isle, but he is not there. Sometimes his icon is not there but a little later shows up again.

Issue: I noticed this for awhile now. ( even since the dlc update released ) when you approach the forgotten he/she just stands there with out no waving. Like they used to before the dlc update.. it actually really bothered me.. 😔

Issue: Companions don't spawn at the correct locations when traveling between Eternity Isle and the Valley. Took Belle with me as a harvesting companion, and we went from The Docks to Forgotten Lands, and she spawned in Sunlit Plateau. I triggered her menu then exited it, and she ran into Forgotten Lands but didn't give me the additional pumpkins I harvested.
NPC Name: Belle (but also had this issue with Ariel when traveling from the Valley to Glittering Dunes).

Issue: the same issue as JayandMeeka. It happens systematically when I go to the Valley with a companion whose house is at the Isle and when I go to the Isle with a companion whose house is at the Valley. The companion spawns at a well, generally at the other side of the map.

Issue: NPC's getting stuck when hanging out. This screenshot is one example, she did not step foot into Forest of Valor, just stood there the whole time, nothing was blocking her. Simba was stuck by where my coconut trees were when I took him out yesterday. Olaf kept getting stuck by trees/bushes and then would only move after I was a distance away, then get stuck again.

Issue: I am having an issue with Remy Sleeping past 10pm. He goes to sleep at 6pm like normal, but doesn't wake up at 10pm like he is supposed to. He doesn't wake up until after 1am. I don't have a picture right now, but will take one tomorrow and come back and edit my post with images.

Currently I need to give Mike wazowski, Sulley, and vanellope favorite items for various reasons and none of them show their favorite items. This is the second day in a row. Other characters show their favorite items, but not the 3 that I need.

As soon as the game loads, he is outside my house waiting to follow me when I load into the game. He should be in the restaurant requesting a meal at this time, but the game still computes Simba as hanging out with me no matter what I do.

Issue: scrooge is not going back into shop when going into it. He'll be outside the shop when I leave it but not inside for me to order furniture from him. Had to hang out with him and enter the shop for him to go in and the option of buying furniture to appear

Issue (Include NPC Name): I noticed that while trying to complete restaurant orders some NPCs were not following their correct schedule. Upon loading to the Dreamlight Valley/Eternity Isle map (from anywhere), they would appear directly outside of the restaurant's doors and then take off to do random things. This appears to be quest related as I was able to get an NPC, specifically Minnie Mouse (quest: "The Language of Flowers"), to follow her schedule again by progressing past a certain point (Craft "Minnie's Flower Arrangement" and talk to her again, may have actually been fixed after I finished the "Gather Blue Star Lilies"). This quest was not being tracked when I noticed this issue, so she was not following me around, but the game seems to have still viewed it as if she was when loading into the map.

This is also happening with Goofy but as of this moment he's no longer scheduled for the restaurant so I can't test this theory on him right now. The quest I have from him is "The Ones That Got Away" at the "Catch some of the strange new fish around the isle" point. If I am able to I'll see if I can solve it for him too and update this post, along with any others I come across.

Edit: It is also Scramblecoin related. Kristoff had no active quests but refused to follow schedule, but once I played scramblecoin with him he finally went back inside.

Edit 2: Confirmed for a few others, though the next 3 I experimented on didn't have a follow mechanic. Once I moved further in their quests they went back to their schedules. Those tested were:

• Mother Gothel - "Shine A Light" quest - Craft 3 sunlight torches and then talk to her fixed her.
• Maui - "The Heart of Dreamlight Valley" quest - Bringing him the heart and then placing it in the castle fixed him.
• Vanellope - "Extreme Biome Makeover" quest - Making/gathering the parts for the kart (or possibly sooner, didn't reload the map while following the quest for a bit) fixed her.

Issue(s): characters will follow you around (even from the opposite side of the map) until you stop so that they can say whatever it is they have to say.

When hanging out with a character and you travel through a well, they will spawn on the other side of the map and have to run across the map to catch up to you.

Issue: After finishing the Acts of Care quest with the Forgotten, I got stuck like this. I can move the camera around, but can't do anything else.

Also, during the quest, when I went to give the Bouillabaise to Goofy, he wordlessly took it and went back to his fishing without continuing the scene. But I talked to him again and the scene completed.

Issue: characters not showing on the map at all although they haven't been removed from the valley. Instance here where Buzz is nowhere to be found. His icon showed up on map after entering his house, but he isn't actually there. Tried exiting the house as it sometimes spawns the character outside, no luck. Pulled up the camera to see if he would appear or get out of furniture if he was somehow clipping through, still nothing.
Edit: well, looks like I had to complain for Buzz to show up. Entered and exited the house multiple times, this time, he decided to spawn outside. Not sure why now and not the other times.

Issue: went to give Jack one of his favorite things and I’m stuck. I can move the camera but can’t move character. Plus when I would try to talk to him once it cancels out the action and moves him away from me. When I talk to him the second time it lets me talk to him. But if I go to talk to him again it does the cancelled action and moves him again.
