Issue: Can't cloud save, can't access the starpath that launched today, can't check my mail, everything says I'm not connected to the internet. I have tried at least 3 wifi networks, and at different times of day. This has been happening for about a week.

^^I was having these same issues, and that solution worked to get my cloud save updated on my MAC but now I am unable to transfer my cloud save to my PC and it keeps creating a new cloud save on the PC instead of transferring my original one from my MAC 😦 i need a solution, i want to play my save on my pc

Issue: Cannot connect to cloud save. Unable to view User ID in game, therefore not allowing me to submit a ticket on the Gameloft website. My Norton picks up the Disney update indicating “Needs Valid Signature.” I’ve verified the game files, uninstalled and reinstalled, and I simply cannot connect to the cloud save at all. This happens EVERY TIME THERE IS AN UPDATE. It’s like clockwork. I typically have to wait a week or two for it to start working again which is completely ridiculous.

Game started giving an error after closing the app for the update. Tried everything to get it going again- tried opening on a secondary switch, tried buying the game on steam and loading the save there, tried uninstall/reinstall on both switches and steam. Seems like it's server side maybe?

Issue: Progress was not saved. I updated my game, played for a while, saved and closed the game as usual. When I started playing again a few hours later quests I had completed earlier were reset to where they were before I updated the game.

Issue: I spent hours last night doing the new update and when i logged into the game today ALL of my progress for story/valley was gone, but the items i bought in the premium shop and star path says they're owned. im confused and very upset about this

Issue: I updated and played for a couple of hours yesterday morning. I saved the game and manually synced to the cloud. When I went to play last night I found that I lost all of my progress since the update including the community challenge items.

Okay, I have an odd question. So I'm trying to create a whole new game on my switch. I previously had linked my primary account to my switch. I have unlinked the account multiple times and have tried to use an alternate email for my switch. Both my switch and my Xbox are trying to stay signed into the same account. Is there a way around this?

Issue: my game loaded in my cloud save from 25 days ago (?). I specifically cloud saved on entry to the game yesterday due to the update. Ive lost all progress from yesterday. I went thru the laugh floor and put Mike and sully into my valley. I have screen shots of my adventures because I was gonna show my bf and parents. I also still have my star path items and progress just fine, moonstone are the same because I bought some and spent them on the upgraded path. I'm so confused. I saved locally on the end of my day yesterday leaving the game as usual. Only cloud save yesterday afternoon on start. It has now deleted the armor rewarded via mail yesterday and I cannot reclaim it. I also lost the fountain as well.

adding on from this, i checked and it says i've claimed the armour and fountain which i had done, but they're not in my inventory anymore since the mentioned event

Issue: my iCloud doesn’t work when I try to log into my Xbox with iCloud it just starts a new game so I can’t even play the game anymore as I do not want to start again

Issue: I am trying to transfer my cloud save from my Mac to my PC and I am able to log into my cloud save and “save” according to my Mac, but when I go to log into my cloud save on my PC via Steam- the game is having me start over and create a new avatar, this has been like this since the new update - please help!

Issue: As a few people mentioned, I am also having a difficult time being able to upload my cloud save to my Mac. It provides an error message that "Cannot connect to online services. Continue playing in offline mode." This has been the case since the 'A Rift in Time' add on/extension. I have restarted my router along with using my mobile hotspot to try and get the cloud save to upload but to no avail. Please help as I would love to take the strain off my eyes from looking at a tiny screen in front of my face. Thank you in advance 🙂

Issue: The cloud save from Nintendo Switch to PC won't sync up and now progress has been lost between both platform taking me back to the update of when Fairy Godmother released. ALL progress on Eternity Isle has been lost and normal valley prior to Fairy Godmother arriving. This includes all items collected and the loss of all quests completed. Can this be fixed and my old file file that is where I actually am in game be restored? If not, then it's the first time me giving up on the game and won't play it again, which is sad because it was something I played faily and invested in as well.

Issue: I purchased the star path, I completed a handful of tasks, and purchased items for the path which I appear to still have. I purchased the Laugh Floor. I played through and put Mike/Sully apartment in my valley. I know it saved during this time. I left the game app and came back a couple times and kept my progress. Cool. As expected. I came back two days later to open the game, and I’m back to where I was before the update. My valley updates were reverted. Houses moved back; and it says I haven’t even opened the Laugh Floor. BUT! I kept my star path progress. I’m not sure what managed to happen with some things reverting back to a save prior to recent, but others didn’t.

Issue: Thought my cloud and local save was fine but when I opened the game today it had reset to before I unlocked Sulley and Mike. Which I have screenshots of me doing 5 days ago and all the friendship progress from then is gone as well. Seems this is happening to others too!

Issue: Every single time I try to do something that requires being online, it keeps telling me I'm not connected even though I am. This is causing my game not to save to cloud saves, can't access store page unless I click the button countless amount of time, can't access star path when i'm trying to check duties. It's so annoying.

Issue: game saving issues. Was doing starpath duties ad well as decorating my valley. Spent about 2-3 hours on this. I'm a double saver. Always save locally twice and upload to cloud twice before shutting down the game. There were no error messages. This was Sunday 3rd of March.
When I launched the game yesterday, 4th of March, all my decoration work was gone. ALL the nighthorns (50 of them) I had removed on Sunday were back, but the starpath duty for it was gone. Some starpath duties had reset (talking to the best dealmaker, 5 fav gifts for Donald, harvest a pungent spice) and I some Starpath rewards I no longer had, but others I did.
For example, I purchased the Sulley motive AFTER the monster Inc outfit. No longer had the outfit, but still had the motive.

Platform: Mac. I did the update and it made my cloud save out of sync. I unlinked it and relinked it and I’m missing star path items and it is acting like I don’t have Mike & Sully already. I’m not sure how to fix this. It basically put my cloud save to the last time I played on my Mac but I had been playing on my switch and I did save & cloud save it from there. Example is I’m in an outfit I haven’t worn in awhile and I don’t have Celia’s hair or the Monster door unlocked but I already did that.

Same thing happened to me on switch. I was even cloud saving this morning, came back to play about an hour later and despite saving local and to cloud save my cloud save said it hadn’t been updated in over 13 hours? No error warnings or anything

Issue: Upon opening app I repeatedly get error message, can’t access menu or close error message. App was excellent until update. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling on my iPad Pro and iPhone with same results. Contacted GameLoft and they said that they were aware of the issue and it will take time to resolve this issue. I really miss playing.

Couldn’t connect to multiplayer, once I did & bought things in my best friends Scrooge shop. Once he exited the store with me it kicked me completely from his valley. Then when trying to load into my valley, which was taking unusually long, it keeps saying it can’t connect to DDLV Server. Then when able to, I couldn’t access the pause menu, after a minute was able to then when trying to locally save it wouldn’t. Then would after a minute but as soon as I tried to cloud save it crashed. (Copy pasting in all relevant issue boards)

Issue: Since the update I have big issues with the cloud save. I am not able to log into my account for cloud save. I just get the message "Online Service not available".
When I load ingame, I just play an older version of my save. In this save I miss many items I already got!
Please give a fast solution so we can join the star path!!!

Issue: Yesterday, I got a prompt that made me choose between a Local Save and a Cloud Save (both with the same date and time stamp). I chose the Cloud Save and played on without issue. Today, my save is gone. The game booted up as tho I just installed it and opened it for the first time. I cannot log in to recover a Cloud Save bc my game is linked to my Game Pass account, and so I do not have a Gameloft/Disney/Dreamlight/Whatever-it-should-be account to log into (when I chose a Cloud Save, I did not get any information about an account other than Microsoft being necessary). I also cannot submit a ticket to Gameloft Support, as I currently do not have a User ID (or access to my old one).

Issue: my wife was previously playing on my steam account, on her PC. She was saving locally, and syncing to cloud. Recently I made her a new steam account, repurchased the game and DLC for her. I logged into my steam account on her PC, saved locally, synced to cloud; I then unlinked the cloud account. Logged off my steam account, and logged into her new steam account. I then proceeded to log into her cloud sync account in her game (on her new steam account) but there is no way to select the cloud save to continue her progress on her new account. Any info on how to transfer progress successfully between steam accounts?

Update || After a Windows update, I had to log in again to the Microsoft Store where I had bought the game, then it worked again. My husband came up with the idea.

i have been playing on switch i have expansion. i purchased the gold edition for pc from microsoft. i have cloud save on switch but i can not get the pc to log in to gameloft account i get message that failed to log in with this email address because there is another account registered to it already.
Issue:I just made a brand new gameloft account and the only game it’s attached to is my switch I’m trying to sign in on pc and it’s giving me the this email is already registered to another account and I’m just trying to sign in

Every Wednesday when I try to collect my DreamSnaps reward it will not load and my mailbox is empty because my game won't synch. The first time it happened, I saved to the cloud, restarted the game and it worked. Now the last 2 weeks whenever I save to the cloud, then restart the game it says it's still out of synch and so it will not load anything to my mailbox. For example when I first signed on today it said my game was out of synch by 4 days, so I saved to cloud, it said it was synched, restarted my game and now it says it's not synched again?? How do I fix this? It's highly annoying.

Issue: I tried to connect to my cloud account when I saw that it was disconnected. I couldn't connect, so I tried to change my password... It's still impossible, so I'm told to play offline, except that it asks me to make a new character... I bought the Ultimate version at the time of the beta, not wanting to lose everything.... I also cannot submit a ticket to Gameloft Support, as I currently do not have a User ID (or access to my old one).

Issue: Cloud save not actually saving!!! Before I quit to the main menu and close out the game I always cloud save but it’s been setting me back days now. For example I logged on today and all my work done yesterday was gone, the cloud save said it was 21 hours+ hours out of sync. This keeps happening. Last time it was 2 days lost.

Issue: Hello. Today's the first time I logged into DDV on Mac Apple Arcade in 2 weeks. I log in to a completely reset character and game, with no way to get back to my original account. I spent thousands on the blue stones for the shop, as well as star path and upgrades. I saved after every exit/quit of the game and made sure to take the extra step to manually save. How does this get reset and why can't I get my original saved game back? Will I get a refund if my progress is unable to be retrieved? I need help.
