I know it's be talked about before, but I think certain characters, not all, need DLC packs.
For example:

  • Star Wars
  • Cars
  • Muppets
  • Marvel
  • Disney Channel
    They would simply just be a character bundle. No extra relm, no extra separate valley you travel to like SBV/EI.

They would just be the character and you can level them up to 10 with rewards. That way everyone is happy. I understand there are people that want to have only classic characters. But for others, like myself I would love to have Marvel & Star Wars. I know some people are against character DLC packs. I guess I just don't understand why? Because if someone doesn't want Star Wars or Marvel, they would not be forced to have it. They don't have to buy the pack. Those who want Star Wars/Marvel/ETC can buy the character pack.

I would love to see Inside Out 1 characters added to DDLV. It could have a real 'emotional-tied' quest aspect, but in a way that's light-hearted and maybe even in a way that promotes positive mental wellbeing? A realm dedicated to it + 1-3 characters, such as Joy, Anger, Disgust, etc.

I'm a very big advocate for mental health in Aotearoa NZ so this would be an actual dream to see a game incorporate something like this. It's rare to see. 🙂

There is literally only one solution that will satisfy everyone. Use DLV as a base to develop an entirely different game. Reuse all the assets you need to to save money and time. Disney Dreamlight Galaxy or something. Keep all the Star Wars and/or Marvel stuff in its own game. You charge $40 minimum for DLCs anyway, if people are willing to pay that for a Star Wars DLC, they will pay it for a new game. Then people like me who are filled with visceral ragequitting hatred by the idea of these IPs infecting our Valleys like a plague don't have to see the characters in Dreamsnaps voting, see our collections forever kept from true completion as we boycot the undesireable content, or otherwise have to suffer the floodgates you opened with this Premium shop pack.

For people who are concerned about how this would work let’s address some of the common concerns.

  1. they are so big. How would they fit?

They don’t need to be huge. There arent even humans in their movie so they can literally be any size. The Lions are already smaller than real life lions.

  1. how would they travel?

Every biome has ramps. They could bypass the staircases and just use the ramps.

  1. What about going inside buildings?

Maybe they just don’t go inside them. Like that’s all there is to it. There’s no need to stress out over it.

  1. what would they eat?

The toys, robots and mushu already don’t eat anything. So it would be the same here.

I would like to see more Star Wars please. Also Muppets. I would happily pay for a DLC package for them. If you don't like Star Wars or Muppets you don't need to get the DLC. Others having them in their game shouldn't bother others. Times are tough. Muppets mean a lot to me. I'd love to see them. Muppets make me happy.

Melody from the little mermaid sequel.
Just hear me out. If let’s say. We get a beach themed dlc for the next dlc..(JUST A HOPE!!!)we could have Melody who’s stuck as a human due to the circumstances of the next dlc..up to yall ofc, and her quest line could be maybe like getting her back into the sea and making some brand new friends…I know that the sequels do have a possible chance here if vanellope keeps bringing up Shank and Yess, and Nala bringing up Kiara… real question is why not have Ariel and Eric bring up their Melody..?
The next characters Id really want with Melody are Lilo,Nani,Angel,Luca,Alberto,Gulia..(did I spell that right 😭), and Pooh bear and friends…and villain wise, the shadow man,the evil queen, and Yzma
(I swear though if EQ and Yzma are the next dlc villains, you’ll have outdone yourselves. I can genuinely see EQ and Yzma being acquaintances due to the potions and their vanity..(can’t really remember if Yzma had any stuff regarding her vanity in emperors new groove. But she’d fit with gothel,and EQ…)or EQ and the shadow man as the next villains. Just a thought. Thanks for reading! ✨

This is for Cinderella welcome to the Valley: the Fairy Godmother shows up with Jack Skellington, asking for his help to save Cinderella from being forgotten. Jack hides her inside a pumpkin to protect her, but then forgets which one it was. So he asks us for help to find her.

It’s actually a really great idea because it’s not the usual repetitive story where a character from the same tale has to help another return. This is a crossover between characters who have a thing in common pumpkins, and honestly, I think it’s a genius concept. I truly hope someone brings it to life someday.

Please keep this game suitable to play with kids of all ages.
So please don't add inappropriately rude muppets, or heavily fighting focused characters like from starwars and marvel.
I would hate it if I couldn't play it together with my kid anymore.

I think Disney made characters should be allowed easily. But disney owned (created by someone else first) like fox, marvel, star wars should be optional dlc. So you have the choice to add characters from their franchise to the valley. That way everyone is happy

I know the devs only have so much for resources so putting those resources into star wars characters means those resources are being taken away from being used for actual disney characters.
I'd much prefer if there were an entirely separate game - "star wars galaxy" or something. I love star wars but the characters just do not belong in dreamlight valley imo.
