Issue: App store claims it works on iPad Air 3rd Generation. My settings say I have the iPad Air 3rd Generation. The game itself says it is Not compatible. iPad is 100% up to date. Either there is a bug or the app store needs to be updated to say it isn't playable.

Issue: Can't pull my old save at all due to connection issues, gives the same error regardless of whether it logs in straight away or if I try and manually log in. It says to wait a few minutes but I've tried multiple times across multiple hours and still nothing, rendering me completely unable to play.
SO I finally found a way arround the connection issues on pc. I got Norton Premium which came with a VPN and enabling the VPN seems to make the issue stop. Still SUPER ticked off that I missed out on the entirety of the last update and wish I could get some kind of compensation considering it took me finding a solution to the issue myself just to be able to play and I missed out on all the things added on the last star path as well as all the seasonal items.

Issue: This has been going on for over a month. Won't connect to internet despite it being perfectly fine. Verifying file integrity via steam doesn't fix it. The wired connection "fix" doesn't either because that's what I have. The workaround that worked for me was disconnecting my ethernet and using a hotspot. After it launches I can turn off my hotspot and plug my ethernet in until the next session. Launching with a VPN also works for me. It's unacceptable that they launched the game like this.

I've followed the steps online, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Connected it to my phone and force saved on the switch then connected my Xbox to my phone and tried to load it and still nothing. Try it on wifi, still nothing.

Issue: Online Services Unavailable. This has been going on since September. I haven't been able to play the Beauty and Beast update. I missed the last Star Path entirely. There is no point in buying the DLC when I can't play the base game. I bought the $80 version of the game less than a month before it became unplayable. And before that, for the entire year I didn't have access to the Premium Store. This game is a waste of money. GameLoft couldn't care less about the players. Which makes no sense when they are literally losing money because the game is so broken that a portion of their potential player base can't even play the game to spend the money!

Issue: Cloud save Conflict Error#5
I cannot log into the game at all on PC anymore. I own the DLC on both the Switch and Gamepass/PC. (founders packs, DLC, whole 9) I've not been able to access my cloud save on PC since I got the DLC for the switch. Switch is showing at sucessfully updated to cloud, even when I go in the backround app settings. cloud save is current. I also can't play on the Xbox either. The cloud save gives me the same Colfict Error #5

Mine won't even work on mobile data! I can't believe I have to download my VPN again. I uninstalled it yesterday bc I thought it was finally fixed.
For me it doesn't even work with a VPN and I have no clue why.. Dx I hope they will somehow fix this connection issue soon enough for us
I managed to solve the issue on PC using the cmd change mtu option here #dreamlight-help message. Really ridiculous issue though. I shouldn't have to change my internet settings like that for just one game.
Discord is the easiest way to communicate over voice, video, and text. Chat, hang out, and stay close with your friends and communities.
I tried that before, and I couldn't change the mtu. I have to use a VPN, and I think that's the reason I can't use multi-player!
On pc? What did it say? I don't see why it shouldn't work for most ppl. Just doesn't help for console users since I'm not sure you can change the setting on those

This is ridiculous. My VPN has to be on in order for the game to connect to online mode. Absolutely no other game I play has this issue. So I imagine once I hit my VPN usage limit I will be unable to play again.

i googled and tried everything what they said but nothing worked.
Pc - this game is never connected to the internet anymore - can barely play the star path or snaps. Events without having to attempt to connect at least 3-4 times a game - my internet is fine and I have no issues in any other game

Issue: game constantly says I’m not connected to internet when I am. Pressing connect button in game doesn’t work. Restarting it works for about a min then it’s back to the same issue so I cannot progress star path or cloud save.

Things tried so far: Closing and reopening the game. Repairing xbox app. Resetting the xbox app. Repairing the game. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Resyncing my pc clock (a suggestion from a steam thread.)
No other solutions could be found by google search except for "use mobile hotspot" apparently from the devs support team; which is 100% unacceptable as a "solution" and 100% shouldn't even be suggested.
Additional note: 100% of other games played since issue started connect to their servers just fine. It is not a user issue.
Edit 19/12: Still experiencing this issue. I'd also like to add that I tried playing on another device this one with wifi and I got the same issues.
For kicks and giggles I also connected to a mobile hotspot and tried to load the game. Guess what, I got the same result.
It'd be nice if there was an acknowledgement of the issue.
I've had issues hosting people in my valley. Two people could not join at all. Two people disconnected partway. One person was able to fully explore my valley and disconnect on their own. This was all PC to Mac or PC to PC.

My connection is stable via both hardwire and wifi.
I have reset my router, uninstalled and deleted ALL game files, reinstalled, verified files, etc. Game refuses to connect. EVERY other game I have connects just fine, it is only DDLV that has this issue.

Issue- cannot connect online or cloud save. Checked my device and I’m connected. It was working fine (I had the star path open and redeemed some rewards). Happened shortly after redeeming and changing wardrobe.
DDLV has not been able to connect to my wifi on steam for a good 4 months. I deleted my save I had from DAY ONE of the game, re-installed the game, and it’s still not connecting at all. It’s not my wifi since every other game and browser is working. I’ve tried every workaround I could find. If I connect to my phones hotspot, it works, but that’s not a long term solution. Again, it’s been 4 months. Absolutely unbelievable.

Issue: Cannot save to cloud or connect online to game for over 5 days. I am travelling for the holidays and this seems to happen to me every time i travel (within timezone). I won't be home for another few days so we will see if this fixes itself when I get back. Cannot participate in DreamSnaps, Scrooge shop, Star Path, or any other online activities.

I am having the same cloud-saving issues, saying my account has not been authorized to log in, but not long after, my game stopped connecting completely and would freeze on the black loading screen before the main menu. I would then have to Force Quit the game. Oddly enough, I tried connecting my Mac to my iPhone's hotspot and I was able to get to the main menu and even open the game, but I still can't connect to the cloud or play "Online". There is something stopping my game from connecting on my home network. Please help. The cloud is out of sync by 8 days and I don't know where my local saves are on my Mac so I could potentially reinstall the app. I don't want to lose my progress. I have completed the main game and I'm on the Rift of Time expansion.

I have been having this issue and not been able to play on my PC Save in well over a year at this point and i cant play on xbox either. I can't even play on switch because I had the high item limit enabled and have no way to fix it.
And even with the work around i found, mentioned in the link, I cant afford or even have a reliable hotspot so I can maybe play a few minutes at most every day which is unsustainable and not really worth it.
I also got the DLC in hopes the update might kick everything back into place but that didn't work either. So even more I can't play and money down the drain. People have been reporting this issue for over a year, including myself and it still goes unaddressed while content being released is still prioritized over fixing the current issues from before the official release. Iv reached out to support 4 times and they continue to just say they are aware and to use a hotspot.... It's just frustrating and I just want to play my game again. It was a lot of work, hrs, and money spent...along with missing out on so much content just to possibly not be able to play anymore? Very disheartening. That is all.

I've been unable to play for 17 days because all of a sudden the game won't let me connect online - even when I have full bars and a stable connection with my wifi. I tried the workaround of connecting to a hotspot and back to my home wifi, nothing is working. I've reached out to Gameloft support and haven't received much besides a vague "we know about this and we're trying to fix it, we don't know when it'll be ready". Anyone else dealing with this - anyone able to find any other solution to this sudden offline servers shift? I’ve done the recent update in the App Store as well, still have the issue. Can't access shop or events or any other online feature. Super frustrating :/
^UPDATE to the above: for Mac users, Gameloft suggested the following workaround to the connectivity issue and it worked for me!:
Go to your system settings and under your Apple ID, click on Sign in and Security, then click on "Sign in with Apple ID", go to Disney Dreamlight Valley and click "Stop using Apple ID". Then, open your game backup. It will prompt you to sign back in with your Apple ID and it should do the trick.
