I did notice that the Xbox is on version 1.8.2 while switch is 1.8.3. Tried to reinstall a couple times and went to manage game to try to find an update to no avail. May be something on Microsofts end and we just gotta wait it out?
Same as above, having issues accessing the game on my Xbox, but was working on my switch earlier.
According to my switch, the cloud save has been successful. Have saved a few times, rebooted Xbox etc

Issue: cloud saved on switch and went to play on PC version and getting cloud save conflict error #5. Thought the issue was I didn’t have rift of time update on switch and repurchased on switch and still having error.

Issue: Progress Loss/Save Game not working.
I unlocked the hourglass and EVE, saved and closed the game. I just hopped back on and I don’t even have any of the shops open on Eternity Isle, which I completed hours ago. I’ve had similar issues during the previous update, where I ended up doing Belle’s level 10 quest 3 separate times.
Platform: Switch/Xbox App for Pc Issue: I'm having the same issue where I get an error on the Xbox app version of the game. I also unlocked Jack on Switch - later on I logged in on the Xbox app and got the message, “Cloud Save Conflict”
I exited the game there and went back to playing on Switch…when I got back on the Switch I no longer had Jack unlocked and all my decorating I did on Switch was gone; I did save ( I save my game quite often) because I unlocked several star path items on Switch and even used the moonstones I had on Switch in the Premium shop.

has anyone else been getting game initialization error (#6) when trying to play? asking cause havent been able to get into my world for the past week and a half, and i tried to log out of cloud save and log back in to see if that would fix the issue, but now im getting another error, game initialization error (#5) and its telling me to try and login to the game on another linked console and force save to cloud but i dont have any other systems to link this cloud save to, waht do i do? i need help

Also, my quest progress with backtracked as well. Shops and wishing wells won't be unlocked, when it was done before.

Issues: I got a rift in time on switch and uploaded my cloud save to my pc. It went in fine. But for some reason my pc won’t let me enter in the aincient planes at the boat. I can play my save fine. I just can’t get into the new biomes on my pc. I can only get them on my switch.

I bought the dlc on both platforms and updated. Cloud saved on switch before trying to load on Xbox. We have two accounts. My account that started on Xbox is fine but can't switch daughters from the switch to Xbox.

Background info: I just bought a new switch today, and it is not allowing me to log in with my cloud save, and it is giving me a log in error saying "Failed to log in with this email address because there is an account registered to it already." I have already tried force closing the game, restarting the switch, deleting and redownloading the game, unlinking the cloud save from my computer, and trying it on different wifi/phone data. Some background information: I originally started on steam with the ultimate edition, then bought the ultimate edition on switch. Switch broke, so I continued playing on steam. Got my new switch today, and purchased the cozy edition (wanted the extra moonstones and exclusive items), but it will not allow me to log into my cloud save!
Im at a loss. Trying to login on my Xbox with my cloud save from my switch. It just won't let me do it. Keeps telling me it failed.

I'm back at the beginning like I just bought the dlc . I had jack level 10, I was almost done with star path, had a lot of mist and upgraded tools, had a lot of areas unlocked in eternity isles, all the dlc characters were unlocked and I was working on their levels. All of it is gone. I save constantly. I saved right before I logged off. (on switch) logged back in after trying on Xbox and getting the failure code and it's all gone. Everything except the stuff I got from the star path
Issue: cloud save conflict error#5. I first played it on the pc and xbox and bought the expansion. I went out to work and brought my switch with the base game, played 2 hours and cloud saved it like always. But when i came back home i got the error message.
I bought the expansion for the switch thinking that's probably the problem, it wasn't :HereThereFishDDV: i even logged out of the account on every device and logged in again to get the same massage. so now I'm only able to play on the switch. Pls let me know how to fix this

I lost everything (5 days of hours and hours of work) when I tired to login to Xbox from switch on my cloud. Switch is my main for portability but I was gonna check out multiplayer on Xbox cause my sister has Xbox. Huge mistake. Xbox gave me an error code and when I got back into my switch, my game had reset all the way back to day one of dlc. I save and save and save again and again. Both local and cloud, yet it was all gone. Very frustrating because I had so much done.

Issue: Error 6 on Switch. Error 5 on PC XBOX Gamepass.
On the Switch I get a white screen that says "Game Initialization Error 6" I have backed up my save and checked for corrupted files and everything checks out. I still get the error. I go on the XBOX App to get Gamepass so I see if I could at least play the game on PC. I get a "Cloud Save Conflict Error 5". This worries me because I read from the community that there's people who couldn't play the game for months because they're having the same problems I have. . People are missing out on items from codes and instore items. I really hope it gets patched soon

Wednesday morning on my Xbox I logged out of my main account and logged into my second account using the area that used to say log and now says link. I got my dreamsnap results and tried to log back into my main account and my 2nd account loaded. I verified the email was correct. I have tried removing the game completely and removing save data. I have reinstalled and it continues to only load the second account even though I am using my main account gameloft email to log in. This is only happening with Xbox. I can pull up the account on Switch. I can’t seem to delete or unlink the Xbox cloud save.

This might be a bit late but Ive just bought this a week ago, and still trying to fix this problem to finally be able to play it again after I switched from Xbox Gamepass to Steam Gold-Edition..

issue: logged on today after not playing for a couple days, selected cloud save, and I have lost tons of gameplay progress I had done. Quests that I finished are now back to the beginning, including star path duties. It shows I have unlocked the Isle but Eve, Gaston, and Repunzle have no progress that i had when I played a couple days ago and I always save before leaving even if it says it saved a couple seconds ago.
Ive already posted this but nothing gets done to help.

Issue says my cloud email is already registered to another account. Well yes, that’s the whole point of a cloud account. We use the same email to login on different devices! Yes, it’s the correct email and yes, I’ve changed the password still nothing.

I have watered my pumpkins 6 times now and when I get back into the game instead of them being ready, I have to water them again. The game is basically unplayable due to man y issues I have reported with foraging, now the saves not updating. Any progress I make will not be saved at all.

Issue: I recently just finished a bunch of quest, leveled up a bunch of villagers and made a lot of money and was now doing the “between a skull rock hard place” quest. I tend to save my have every 2-4 mins. I closed my game after saving and opened it up to all my progress gone and to an older save. I’m not sure if it’s possible to get my newer cloud save but I don’t want to restart

Issue: was initilization error 6, but after wiping the game off my pc and new reinstall, it now says there's a problem with my cloud save. I can not get past this screen, even on switch, I click okay and it instantly loads the message again. I can't access settings or even quit properly.
I have the exact same problem. Error 6 on Switch. Cloud save error 5 on pc. I emailed customer support & they basically said it’s a waiting game. The problem is there’re people who couldn’t play the game either weeks or months because they have the same issue as us & it still wasn’t solved. I hope it gets fixed soon. I really don’t want to restart

Issue: I started playing the DLC the other day on my laptop, then switched over to my Steamdeck, zero issues, my cloud save worked as normal. Just now I tried to open my game on my laptop, and it did not prompt me to keep my cloud save, so when I opened the game it was several hours back in terms of progress. Thankfully I was able to just close the game and load the local save on my Steamdeck, but that's really bad, especially when it's technically the same platform?! (I'm using Steam on PC just to be clear.)

Issue: I logged into cloud save on another laptop on 12/29. The update for Jack is not working. I'm not getting any of the dolls to show up to start the quest. I have unlocked the forgotten lands biome and done quests with the Fairy Godmother, but when I go to my Character collection, it says I don't have her, but I am able to go to the pumpkin house in the biome where first found her and started the quest with her. I logged back in to my old laptop where I started the game to see if it was registering that I still had her on there, and as soon as I launched DDV the Cloud Save Conflict came up. I feel like keeping the local save would be the better route for me to go, but on the cloud save I have already claimed my 5000 moonstone from buying the DLC. Am I going to lose those completely? I feel like I can't do the Jack quest without having Fairy Godmother, which I already had, but apparently the cloud save isn't registering that I do.

So after choosing the local save I still don't have the Fairy Godmother, who I already had. I had already done the quest in the tree that you climb and go through the memories of the Forgotten. I'm pretty sure she was at least a level 2 friend. When I went back to the other laptop I loaded my cloud save on, I got the same cloud save conflict error again. I went with the cloud save this time since that was the save from my old laptop. When I go to the forgotten lands, Fairy Godmther's house is there, the tree that I did the quest in with the Forgotten's memories is gone, and Fairy godmother does not show up anywhere.
today is the 2nd time this has happened, the first time i fixed it by verifying the integrity of the game files on my laptop, but this time even doing that didn't help. pls fix this, the fact that the cloud save function isn't working between the same platform is especially ridiculous
Not sure if this belongs here or not but I went to the help section under settings and clicked save to cloud since mine was not auto syncing. I did this to potentially fix an issue I was having with a quest and once i did this, I lost all of my dreamlight. I had over 70,000 dreamlight and now it’s saying I only have 550. Not sure what happened.

Issue: Game crashed yesterday and despite being meticulous about saving (rather than relying on autosave) not only locally, but to the cloud, when I logged in I had lost hours of progress. I lost progress on a quest, hours of valley clean up, and over 7,500 mist that I had been grinding for, for hours.
I'm having this issue again all of a sudden. It's such a headache logging out of my Apple ID and don't really want to have to do that again so now I'm stuck playing on my switch unless I go through the process again on Mac.

For some reason my partner's Disney Dreamlight ID is linked to my Xbox account and whenever I try to log into my cloud saves, it just loads up her character for some reason and vice versa.
Is there a way to unlink her ID and link my ID back to my xbox and cloud save account and her ID back to her xbox and cloud save account?
Platform: Mac

Issue: Stuck on a different person's cloud save
My mother logged into my steam copy of Dreamlight Valley with the cloud save of her switch copy of Dreamlight Valley, I had my own cloud save of Dreamlight Valley attached to a different email, but despite me logging back into the email on Dreamlight Valley it keeps connecting me to her cloud save

Platform: Steam/PC Issue: So, I am having a problem. I play on switch and pc, and I cloud save on the switch and exit the game. THen I start the game on pc, and it does not show me the saving conflict, so I can't transfer the progress I have saved on the switch to the pc. So, I am forced to unlink the account from cloudsave on the pc, then I have to quit the game, start it on the switch, cloud save, quit the game and start the game on pc and the saving conflict appears again. There are A LOT of bugs regarding cloud save, though. It shouldn't be so complicated. I should not be forced to carry my nintendo switch with me everytime, to be able to continue the game progress I've made on the switch to the pc. That's not how cloudsave should work. If I only have an account, and all my devices are linked to the same email, there shouldn't be any problem, regarding cloudsave.
Platform: switch to PC (purchased game via Xbox store on pc). Says there is could save experiencing issues. wont allow me to access the cloud save, i own both games and the rift on both platforms

Issue: Game Initialization Error #5
Been having this problem since a week before the December 5th update, emailed gameloft maybe 5 times over the past 2 months and all ive gotten back from the is a "we are aware of the error, but do not currently have a date for the fix" or something like that. Or " it's a waiting game." What do I gotta do to fix it myself cause that's where I'm at right now, so sick and tired of waiting for gameloft to fix their game
