Gamepass on the PC and Epic

No error codes.

2 pictures, one last night on Gamepass and the other this morning on Epic.
Would not go past loading screen. I repaired it, reset it, and uninstalled and reinstalled and still didn't work. So I bought the game on Epic last night and now it's not working on Epic either.

I just got a new PC and bought the DLC and got the latest update.
I've had this game for years, and my old save was from my old PC and it didn't have the DLC or update.
This error popped up, when I started Disney Dreamlight Valley on this PC for the first time.
I am unsure the exact problem causing it.

Issue: Returning to Dreamlight Valley Crashes the game as well as Steam itself

I saved while on Eternity Isle, and now I have an issue where every time I try to return to the main valley, the game crashes. I can get as far as the castle, but once I step outside the front gate the game takes a long time to load and then freezes and crashes.

Whatever crash happens is so severe it also affected Steam itself and it now refuses to open.

I am effectively trapped on Eternity Isle now.

Issue (Include Error Codes): when completeing the rapunzel quest I only found 9 sundial gears before I went to sleep however when I went back it said make sure all sundial pieces are in your inventory, all 9 that I found are in my inventory but because I didn’t find the last one last night it’s glitched and won’t change from this

Issue : I can load into the main menu but once I click continue, it crashes during the game loading process. It causes a black screen on my PC and shuts it down. I checked my specs and I am well within the recommended range. I checked that Windows and my drivers are updated. I lowered the graphics quality in the game settings and I am still crashing. I was able to play for a while yesterday (12/5) with the update and the expansion, but I am no longer able to load in at all. I was working on the Eve quest on the Isle when it first crashed.
(Other games are running fine so I'm pretty sure its not my GPU)
No pictures as it just shuts down my PC.

***Uninstalling then re-installing has seemed to fix my crashing issue for now ***

Update : It happened again 12/10 so I uninstalled and re-installed the game again -> this time it only ran for 30 minutes after the re-install before it crashed again

Issue: big drop of performance when entering Remy's restaurant since the last update, or when leaving decorating home in my house (this problem already occurred in my game before the last update). The only way to fix it is to leave the building. I also randomly have some big drops of performances sometimes when I'm in the new DLC areas.

Issue: For awhile whenever I unlock the Frozen Realm and collect Bruni, the game crashes and I am unable to go back in the Realm even if I restart the game, computer, etc. PLEASE HELP!! Ive been dealing with this for months and I cant finish certain quests without Anna and Elsa.

Issue (Include Error Codes): Not sure where to post this, but I've been having a lot of lag lately since this update compared to last update when I posted about it. No matter what I do in game, my character just stops what its doing. It takes probably up to 10 seconds for the lag to resolve on its own.

Issue: The fans just suddenly start to dial it up to 11. Then my monitor can't find a signal and I have to force a shutdown. This happens seemingly at random and after different amounts of playtime (usually after catching a fish or during a game of scramblecoin). After a complete reinstall it seemed to be fixed but has since started happening again.

The game freezes when a "pop up" opens in the menu (e.g.: When collecting a memory the game freezes when it's dispayed, game freezes when trying to exit the dreamsnap voting tab, etc.). It's happening a lot, I'd say 1/4 time a "pop-up" appears on the menu. Sounds still play and NPCs still move around me, but I can't do anything. I have to force close the game.
The game lags a lot (stutters). It wasn't the case before this week's update.

Plus I have a bug in my tools that to the point I can not mine rocks etc and a bug that doesn't allow me to plant crops. Dealing with super lag as well that makes my character run lopsided and laggy.

Issue: Game crash during the Realm Quest "The Spirits Of Nature" - This has been an issue for me for the last several updates. I don't know if it is due to my CPU not being the recommended one or something else, but my game keeps crashing every time I try to return Bruni to Anna. I might have to use another platform like the Switch to bypass this if I want to unlock Anna and Elsa at this rate on the Steam account I'm having this issue on.

Issue: When I obtain something like a companion or dreamlight and it changes the screen to tell me I got the thing, my game will freeze and become unresponsive. Generally I have to close it and relaunch. I haven't lost any progress thankfully but I have to restart the game often because it keeps freezing.

Issue: I cannot travel back to the valley from the isle. DLC downloaded on both Mac and PC and this issue just started yesterday on PC. Also happens on the Mac, but it occurred first on the PC. I currently have no access back to the original valley. Even using the boat doesn’t work. I can get into the castle but once exiting the castle to the plaza it crashes just like the video attached.

The game often freezes. It's common for me since I'm playing this game (something about a year). When something pops up like memory or trading window, the game just freezes. I can't do anything to close the window, and then I have to do alt + f4.

Issue: Game has been laggy since update and has crashed randomly several times. Today alone it completely closed itself and Elsa appeared in her cave on the map but was nowhere to be found. Less than 30 minutes later the game completely froze and crashed while walking. And less than 20 minutes after that freeze it once again completely froze and crashed while I was just standing. No crash or lag issues prior to the big update.

issue: lags and game freezes, no error messages. I noticed that especially when entering buildings and trying to cook (no matter which house, my own, chez remy, McScrooges shop) everything starts to get really laggy, sometimes an action such us trying to buy something, will trigger a complete freeze and I have to close and re-start the game. Its so bad that it the game is next to unplayable, and I already have reduced all the graphic settings, hoping that would help but did do nothing to improve.

Issue: A lot of lag when bonus effects (harvest extra / crop spawn) happen from having the golden energy-bar. Often my character just freezes until the bonus effect wears off and thus I can't benefit from the golden energy-bar 😕 (I hope this is the right category for this bug)

issue: my game continues to lag / freeze on actions for roughly 5 seconds; however this particular section in wall-e's garden has once again broken my game (i reported this bug months ago). i go to pick a plant and i stay here, unable to do anything except right-click mouse to open my umbrella. the game still carries on (critters walk about, weather changes, companions walk about etc.) but i get stuck here and can't exit, open map, open setting, or anything. i have to alt + f4 and lose progress.

considering this is the second or third time i've submitted this issue, could you please look into this bug?!

**Issue: **sometimes when im giving people items it gets stuck on the giving, it continues the conversation at the bottom but then wont allow me to exit the screen
Issue2: sometimes when im teleporting it does the same but the pop up screen is the teleportation and all the realms
Issue3: sometimes when im re-arranging my furniture it makes stuff dissapear or when i save and exit the furniture mode it moves all the furniture around

only way to fix all issues is to restart.

Issue: The game restarts my computer after playing for about 5 or so minutes. It did this in the past infrequently and usually after playing for a couple hours.

I updated my graphics card drivers, verified my files, and changed graphic settings to see if that was the cause.

Only playing this game causes this, nothing else I do on the computer causes it to restart on its own.

Issue: game sort of freezes when collecting a memory orb or changing an NPC skin. The orbs load to the picture. But when trying to back out the collections screen closes and shows the valley. But the pop up with the picture remains and will not close. Same happens trying to change an NPC character skin. Only way out is to force close the game and relaunch. Wasn’t happening with 12/5 update and new DLC. But is happening since on of the latest hot fixes.

Issue (Include Error Codes): Randomly crashes after about 15-45 minutes of play time; if i'm lucky I can get about an hour in but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Crashes while i'm foraging, mining, walking around, sometimes near buildings, sometimes near nothing, sometimes when lots of items are on screen, sometimes when i'm in a corner and there are hardly any items at all. However, it does not seem to crash when I'm in design/furniture placement mode, or while I'm in the middle of dialogue with one of the characters. (Can't recall if it's crashed while I was in a menu, but I don't think it has.) Changing my video settings did not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling the gamepass version helped once a few days ago, but the crashes came back today. Turned off my PC and made sure the inside was thoroughly clean in case it was an issue with my video card overheating (despite nothing else on my PC freezing or crashing, and I work with VERY large photoshop files, high-res video, and blender no problem). Freshly booted my pc back up, but the game crashed again after about 20 minutes. Uninstalled & switched over to Steam, but I got 17 minutes of play time there so I asked for a refund.
Screenshot/Video: (Didn't think to take any in my frustration, but the game freezes up and becomes entirely unresponsive; the game audio seems to continue fine though, music stings start up without issue, it seems to be purely video. After a moment the screen gets that white overlay and the windows standard "ddv is not responsive" dialog box appears and I close out the program.)

Issue: game crashes when trying to travel to eternity isle..

UPDATE: After removing blue spreakled path from my plaza, I could acess eternity isle again with fast travel.

This path is broken and bugged, dont use it

Day number 3 that I cant acess the expansion. I tried go telport to diffrent areas on both platforms but no improvement. On the switch i get the unpexcteded error meassages and on the pc it just automatic closes without any warning.

I have over 500 hours in this game and never had any similar issue like this before . Its extremely frustrating that I cant access content that I paid for...twice

Issue (Include Error Codes): No Codes- Game crashes only when leaving Scrooges Store, (both worlds). I can enter the store fine, it's just leaving his store that the game stops responding. This has been going on for 2 weeks off and on. Yesterday it ran just fine, no issues leaving Scrooges yesterday. Get up today and it's crashes exiting Scrooges Store every single time. I can't buy anything in his store due to this.

Game crashes when going from Valley to the Eternity Isle. First used the Fast travel, then went through the castle. Crashes every time. The Eternity Isle wont even load up. Worked ok a few days ago.

Issue: Saved on Eternity Isle, when I opened game next day and tried to fast travel to the valley game auto crashes. I also tried to walk back to the valley and when I try to leave the castle I also auto crashed.

HELP IM TRAPPED FOREVER ON ETERNITY ISLE

EDIT: I removed the green and purple speckled path that I had placed before the crashing started and its fixed! Don't use this path till this bug is fixed!

Issue: I see this issue a lot but I just wanted to add to it as it does seem to be an issue with a lot of PC users. Game crashes when I try to leave Eternity Isle through the map system. Tried a few different things but nothing helps so far. I was only happening occasionally a day or two ago now it happens every time. Can't get back to my Valley 😦 .

Issue: Placed the blue and yellow speckled bath with border in Sunlit Plateau yesterday even though it never properly rendered properly on Eternity Isle or SP. Today I couldn't travel to Eternity Isle via fast travel or the castle. Removed the path from SP, saved game, and now I can fast travel to Eternity Isle. Both speckled paths with borders are gorgeous and it's a crying shame they don't render correctly AND break the game.

Every time I try to go to the eternity aisle I get a black screen like this and the game just shuts down. This has been going on for a long time. It started a week after upgrade eight came out. I am hoping that they fix this in the next upgrade because I have a lot of work to do in the eternity aisle. Also, the blue and green chess are missing from my valley.

Can't barely do much as it's closing page at random times

I'm having a lot of trouble using portal to visit a friend and vice versa

I may load and at home page it'll cut off
Or I may get 20 mins game playing and it cuts out / closes

There's no other errors that I can see

Issue: It seems like the game has crashed or something after I tried to harvest the lettuce... I can still move the camera around my character and everything in the background still moves, but I'm frozen in the same spot and can't open any tabs/tools. I have waited for half an hour now, but it hasn't changed. I could only exit the game by force quitting it.

crash 1: At the end of the forgetting main quest line, when you are supposed to take the portal back to dreamlight valley (after going through all the little "lights" with the forgotten), the game freezes on a black screen. I had to force quit. Upon returning, the game picked up with a cutscene that would have presumably happened upon going through the portal.

crash 2: After a few more cutscenes and watching the end credits, the game froze again on a white screen. Again, I had to force quit. Upon returning to the valley, my quest progress was at what I presume to be the next step, to place the orb of remembrance in the forgotten lands.

In both scenarios, autosaves appeared to have saved me because I didn't have to back track. After force quitting and coming back in, I picked right back up where I should have been.

Platform: PC Xbox owned, Issue: Repeated Crash to desktop when opening a connection for multiplayer. Crashed to desktop three times consecutively trying to connect to multiplayer. I restarted my computer, crashed upon trying to start DDLV after the reboot, went to APPS and "repaired" DDLV then "terminated" from the APP settings before I could get the game to start and connect to multiplayer. Then crashed once again to the desktop again when my friend left from multiplayer.
I've used multiplayer at least 3 times in the past week without it crashing. This started in the past two days.

Issue: Game randomly crashes, it's different each time and produces no error code upon crashing. I was mining with scrooge in the most recent one.

More info: I did run a repair on the game recently as crashes where happening quite a bit, it did slow down the amount of crashes but didn't do away with the crashing at all.
