ETA: Also experiencing a lot of jitter on the Eternity Isle that is not present on Dreamlight Valley. Worst seems to be in the tunnels and on the Grasslands.

Being that this is a paid game and not in beta anymore the crashing is inexcusable. Mine crashes when fast traveling, freezes constantly where i need to force close whenever im doing tasks, opening memories or even entering a house. Been worse since the update and dlc.

I'm stuck on "The Flying Metal Nuisance" been trying since the expansion pack came out to get a sea snail every day the blue circle is something there and other day just one blue circle then when I fish I keep only getting octopus then wait for another blue circle but after 10-20 mins no blue circles appear. Am I doing something wrong or is it the game?

Game crashes and freezes multiple times while playing. I've had crashes while fast traveling, crashes while walking between biomes, crashes while walking in biomes, freezes when fast traveling, freezes while planting seeds, freezes entering buildings.
It is beyond frustrating. Especially considering how much I have paid for the game and the expansion (I've had to buy the expansion more than once so my kids can also play)

Issue: The DLC ''A Rift In Time'' had problems with a few areas where collectibles would fly into areas of the map that could no longer be picked up. Alpha walls block this process.
Areas:

Sparkling Dunes (near Gaston's tent),
The lagoon (the small path that leads up where there are binoculars) I can't collect a memory here!

Game froze after getting gifts in castle and leaving then when closed and relaunched- stuck on "hit any button to start". No inputs work. Cannot start my game.

I've reset the game, reinstalled, restarted console- I've tried a different controller as well. I can't play my game.

Game freezes frequently. 3 times today in around an hour and a half. Once after fast travelling from the Valley to Emerald Isle the quick travel menu remained on my screen so I had to restart.
Once after completing a Mist duty on Emerald Isle (feed monkeys their favourite food 10 times) the mist reward screen stayed there and wouldn't go away.
The third, I can't remember what I was doing but I believe I was giving a character gifts in my Valley at the time and everything just stopped.
Each time I have to force close to move on. This has only started happening since the update and I don't really play because of it anymore sadly because it happens frequently every time I play, even during normal tasks like harvesting veggies or mining.

I restarted the game twice, with and without activating the quest, but nothing helped.

I've been playing since October 2022 and have never had crashes until today. First one was about 20 minutes after I signed onto the game and the 2nd one was about 30 to 45 minutes after the first crash. Both occurred on Eternity Island when I tried to fast travel. After that I signed off the game.

Was removing a garden , once got to the end my character started walking into the wall and still is at moment. Standing over flower can't pick up. Can not exit nor can I close application or anything. Character just keeps walking into corner and no way out
With no other option I had to turn off power strip.
Which has now corrupted my external.
If this happens again I may stop playing as I'm not going to risk my console

Opened first gate , started heading to and character started walking on own to edge and continuing to walk. Again , no button pressing or anything helps. Can not escape game.
I am officially done with this game until things like this get fixed. I'm going to have to switch off power strip AGAIN!!!! This is unacceptable.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy the game but I will not risk my console further nor my external from things like this.
Please fix this so I can enjoy this game again

I really wish y'all would have just left the PlayStation 5 version the way it was up until the game left early access it was perfect. My PS5 still crashes EVERY TIME I try to return to Eternity Isle, I haven't been there in a week so I can barely play the game, I opened a ticket and did the PS5 troubleshooting they told me to do, it did not fix anything b/c it's an issue in the game, not with my PS5. The ticket help person told me he didn't know and would forward the issue to the dev team and that's the last I heard, is there anyone I can speak to on discord about this?

Issue: I’m in the Isle and cant go to my Valley because it crashes. I’ve tried every Well in the Valley and tried from the boat, it crashes, without fail. I restarted the game, restarted my console, and even DELETED & REINSTALLED the game, tried to go the Valley and it crashed. This is now the SECOND time I’ll miss out on rewards bc of a game-breaking glitch! Last time my furniture mode was bricked after the update, so I couldn’t properly do DreamSnaps… and this time I can’t finish the last Star Path duties that can only be done in the Valley (Walleye, Vitalys mines etc) and I can’t do a WINTER DreamSnap in the jungle/desert. 😡

Issue: Still cannot return to Eternity Isle, been over a week, nothing has been fixed. My game crashes every time I try to go back via any method available. I opened a ticket 6 days ago and did the troubleshooting, they said "I’ve forwarded your issue to our dev team for the investigation. We’re extremely sorry. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask." 5 days ago, I just need to know this issue is going to be fixed, I can't enjoy the game I paid for.

I am stuck in the main game and cannot travel back to Eternity, game crashes every time I try, every possible way. Issue: Okay... What I also noticed is that some characters freeze in their animation, whether on the ground or in the air.
In addition, the speech bubbles just fly away in front of you.
But the game also starts to stutter in some places or (for a brief moment) white lines appear on the screen... could mean that the game is not stable enough?!
Another point that I have observed is that after updates (no matter which one) new or even old errors appear again and, for example, block quests or other activities. - So make mistakes to move forward!

Even though I can currently play without any problems and ignore these glitches, I wanted to add these observations here because I really enjoy DDV.

I hope that one day all of these errors, except for minor ones, can be corrected.

Fiancé wants it noted he's ticked about PS5 Glitches. in the last 4 hours, his game has had errors, each resulting in needing to restart the game. This has happened 6 times now. Its alwasy that he ported or spoke to someone. the glitches are bad man get to them! PLEASE and thank you! (also from his switch playing fiance, let me visit his valley!)

Every time I try to teleport from eternity Isle to my Valley I get kicked out of the game. I cannot even use the boat to go back I can get as far as the castle but the minute I try to go out the castle doors into the valley it kicks me out. This has been happening all day. I've tried several times I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game nothing is helping. And apparently I'm not the only person that's having this issue. You guys need to start doing some hot fixes when big issues like this come up. Thank you

(ex)Issue: My issue was the game crashing every time I tried to return to Eternity Isle, well apparently the CAUSE was the "Green and Purple Speckled Path", it is glitchy and I had a small patch of it down in the Valley that I forgot about. I removed that path and restarted the game, and now, for the first time in 3+ weeks, I can travel back to Eternity Isle without crashing wahoo Just thought I'd share this fix incase anyone else has the same problem, remove the new paths, they are glitchy.

Just tried connecting with a friend
First time was disconnected after inputting code
Then was disconnected no sooner than making it into friends valley
Tried again and both our screens froze going into scrooges
We both closed game tried again
Then it disconnected after inputting code again.

Constant disconnections and crashes are NOT making this enjoyable by any stretch of the imagination

Ice had to completely close my game 3 times within the last 5 minutes. The WALL-E quest line that's purchased with moonstones keeps sticking, for lack of a better word.
First time, the quest wouldn't registered the romantic date furniture I set on the beach.
Second time, I had to talk to WALL-E after Minnie and Mickey had their date. The map showed WALL-E in his house, yet he wasn't. He wasn't outside of it, either.
Third time, the updated quest banner won't go away. It's stuck there. It's irritating.
This will be the 4th time closing my game in a little over 5 minutes due yo this quest line bugging out. Who knows if I'll be able yo proceed much further 🤷‍♀️

PS5 Crashes - Stuck on Eternity Isle and can only travel to the Realms. If I attempt to go to the Valley or to Return to the Title Screen the game crashes. I do not loose progress, but then I was trained early on with the Switch to save very frequently. Yes, I have uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled DDV. Yes, my system software the latest version and is up to date. Yes, DDV is up to date. Yes I have backed up all game data, uninstalled all games and reset my console. Then laboriously download multiple games again. All of my other games (including large RPG games) are running just fine. Yes I have plenty of available storage space on both the console and the installed WD 1 TB drive. edited to add: Yes, I have tried not using fast travel and instead going through the boat - castle route to get to the Valley. It doesn't work.

Issue: Game has crashed 4 times in the past hour today. I log onto the game and within 5 mins it crashes. 😫

I've had 6 PS5 crashes just this week alone, what is going on? Like that's ridiculous
