Switch - Companions aren't giving extras when using magic elixir correctly. Example. Used Merlin to fish using fishing elixir. He didn't give any extra fish while fishing. Elixir wore off and he started giving more fish. Then I went back to spots we had been fishing prior to and dead fish just scattered on the shores 😜

Issue: The red and beige monkey located at the cove from entering The Overlook section keeps resetting when it runs into the water. I'm not able to feed it unless I have good RNG on the chase when the monkey doesn't touch the water.

Issue: with mist duty and feeding capybara and critter duties. Already fed capybara earlier but have a feed critter and feed capybara duties. Fed capybara 5 times and it wasn't registering for capybara duty OR feed a critter duty. Haven't tried monkey again but will because I also fed it earlier as well.

Issue: The Black and Brown Monkey is managing to spawn in the little secret beach in The Courtyard (where you get the first jewel for the hourglass) . Because this area is so small, it's impossible to catch it if it spawns here, and it keeps teleporting. I have managed to find a workaround by reloading my game and hoping it spawns in the actual Courtyard area, but it shouldn't be allowed to spawn here in the first place.

Issue: Thank you for taking our suggestion to make Zero's doghouse a functioning companion house! But it doesn't actually work 😭 ...it will let you pick companions from the menu but they don't appear when you exit out and the menu resets when you go back in. I did notice that both Zero's house and my original companion house now both say "Choose up to 0 companions" in the menu even if none are currently chosen for either house, so something definitely got hosed during the update when the feature was added to Zero's house.

Issue: Trying to do the chase to approach a monkey, after the third try in the tiny area with the timebuilding table and the statue you have to put the arms on - the monkey disappears and you have to restart the minigame. The monkey goes from corner to corner in the small area before disappearing and resetting to a new corner on the opposite side. Makes me unable to finish the 'Feed 2 monkey's' quest from Eve.

Issue: Cant complete the "feed 2 monkeys" quest because one of the monkeys disappeared yesterday and wont come back. I only have 1 monkey in the area since yesterday . When i initially loaded into the area for the first time there were 2, i dont know what happened but one of them just went missing at one point and wont respawn. I looked around trying to see if it might be stuck somewhere but couldnt find it.

Issue: Since getting the game I have been unable to get all the critters to register in my collection even once fed a favorite item. A few have started registering with the last update, but it seems like if I have already fed them a favorite item previously and it didn’t register, it still won’t show up in the collection and they remain greyed out.
Critter or Companion Name: all critters, especially prevalent with ravens, foxes, raccoons, bunnies, and crocodiles.

The higher the level, and more characters having that task will help you get more from them. If they are a lower level and you only have one or two characters with that task, they will not give you extras as often.

PS4: I think this has happened with all the new characters, but was most noticeable with Gaston. When exiting one of my houses with a follower or fast traveling from eternity isle to somewhere that isn’t the plaza, the character defaults to the plaza or the docks. Gaston was noticeable because he was stuck in front of my house’s starting position and would throw extras from there to the courtyard where I was.

Switch: the different colored creatures - currently the blue capybara, the blue cobra, and the pink cobra, aren’t moving around their little biome areas at all. The cobras are both in tiny inaccessible areas of the biomes and aren’t moving into the bigger area at all so they can’t be fed.

Critter: Monkeys (Eternity Isle DLC)
I haven't tried to feed other critters on Eternity Isle yet, but when trying to feed the monkeys in the courtyard and the docks, after I chase after them 3 or more times, they will vanish and spawn somewhere else nearby and I can continue to chase them, but they just continue to disappear before given the interaction to feed them. This is preventing me from completing Eve's mission, A New Directive.

Issue: When inside my home, if I open Furniture edit mode first, I can then go into take a photo and it will let me load my critter companion in with me. (Not an issue, I just know it shouldn't do that.)

Issue: critter monkey keeps glitching, so i keep running after that monkey for a good 7/10 mins now and i still cant give him its 3 star meal. Whenever infollowed him 3/4 times he just dissapears and spawn somewhere else having to begin all over again. Already closed the game off 3 times and its still not working for me.

Seems to be on certain load in’s I can feed critters and get items and other times I don’t get items. And no, it’s not when feeding the same critters, it’s in different biomes. I haven’t gotten anything from the new capybaras, and I have fed the same one more than twice and haven’t loaded into my critter guide either

Issue: Some of the monkeys in Eternity Isle are nearly impossible to feed. The game of "tag" seems to be on a continuous loop, and the monkeys frequently disappear in the middle of the chase. Sometimes they reappear as I get closer to where they were standing, and sometimes they'll reappear in a completely different area. I was able to feed the Classic Monkey today, but the Red and Beige Monkey will not let me (see video).

When trying to complete the Feed A Squirrel Dreamlight Duty, I never get credit for feeding. I've tried different squirrels and blueberries and peanuts.

When feeding favorite foods to crocodiles and foxes the game doesn't register them as companions after I've fed them their favorite food twice in different days like it's supposed to. I've fed the blue fox 3 times and it still doesn't register.

Issue: feeding critters for mist duties.
I've already fed all the critters I have access to, because I've had several 'feed a critter' duties already, but now since I've fed them all I cannot complete those duties again, so now I have 3 incompletable duties while I'm trying to get mist. I understand feeding only counting once a day for unlocking the critters, but that should not also go for duties when you can get the same 'feed a cobra' 3+ times in a day.

The monkey's teleport and disappear as you chase them resetting the chase sequence each time they reappear. 2 monkey's in particular in small tight spaces that will not run out of those corners will just teleport.

Issue: On a quest to feed a capybara its favourite food, it won't register that I've done this even though I've done it three times. It registers asking someone what their fave food is, so I even attempted to feed one after this step in case it was another out of order quest lock issue, but still didn't register.

Issue: Monkey's glitching so can't finish the chase to feed them. In the ruins on the balcony, if the monkey runs behind one of the two unmovable trees, it will glitch to the other side and reset the chase. It always runs behind the tree when up in this area so I have to wait for him to move down below to feed him.

Issue: The Beige Monkey glitches out in the Ruins. I can't ever successfully approach him. he's stuck on the upper terrace (the one with very limited space due to two immovable trees). Anytime he gets to a corner, he glitches like Vanellope but then winds up in another corner of that little terrace.

Wasn't sure where this should go but, Platfrom Xbox Gamepase (PC) Zero's doghouse is now functional (Love this feature, thank you for adding it!), however companions selected when interacting with it are not saved, animals dont spawn near the house and don't show as selected when interacting with it again.

Issue: My game kinda freezes when I challenge Beast to Scrabblecoin. The npcs around us still move but the game doesn't go to the Mini game. I just sit there staring at Beast as he does his different animations like waving. So far it's only been with Beast. I hope this goes here considering it involves a companion.

PS4: moved the Gradslands well to this corner in the Grove and today both Mirabel and Gaston decided to get stuck behind it even though the well is snugged right up against the wall and there should t be room. This is Mirabel’s second time appearing here after I already moved the well to get her out once. Also, Vanellope has been invisible a lot, you can only see her because of the sparkles.

Issue: I'm having so many issues with monkeys, I cant feed them, they keep disappearing in general, they glitch constantly and no matter how many times I chase them they don't let me approach. I have managed to feed 1 monkey in total and it glitched to allow it. I cant continue with eves quest because of it

Issue: Monkeys, mainly the ones in the Ruins (especially on that platform/balcony) and the Overlook (also that small beach part), disappear and spawn somewhere else after chasing it a couple times, and then the chase count resets. Sometimes when I spam E at the right moment, it will spawn me and the monkey to a better spot and I can feed it. But this only seems to work when it's not on that platform/balcony or that small beach part. Really annoying bug.

Issue: The Beast cannot be pushed away by walking into him. This causes for me to often get stuck in corners, when I have him following me as I'm mining and he's got mining as his hangout bonus. I will have to talk to him to stop hanging out with him to get him to leave, so I can get myself unstuck without teleporting.

Platform: PS5 Issue: Critters are spawning in the Borderlands lower area that is blocked by an invisible wall on the ramp. I can't get down to the snake or the chest. For this example it's the green snake. Workaround is to use a well & teleport back & forth to the Borderlands until the snake respawns in a reachable spot. However, I'm sure this is not how the game is intended to work.

Issue: Black and Brown Monkey liked to pop in and out of existence while trying to play chase with them in the tunnel in the Overlook. I eventually got it to work by spamming the interact button and staying on top of them as much as I could. I caught them by the waterfall, but the feeding animation teleported my character and the camera back into the tunnel. My view was obstructed so I couldn't tell if the monkey teleported too.

Please make these trees removable. My monkey keeps glitching into them and resetting. I run up to it, it glitches, disappears and reappears on the opposite side of the area. I run to it, it glitches again and vanishes only to reappear on the other side of the area. I can't feed it at all. I've been trying for over a week. Once the monkey got stuck inside the trunk and just wiggled inside the tree trunk like it was being electrocuted until I logged out. Or move this monkey to a different location.

I've experienced this in just about every small space that a monkey spawns in - specifically the "secret" areas in each Ancient Landing region (ie the room behind the waterfall in the Docks, the area up the path and stairs in the Ruins, or one down the stairs in the Courtyard)

Basically there are a few areas where, should a monkey spawn there and you attempt to play the chase game, to feed the monkey, at some point it always disappears and resets the chase game. For me it happened in the Ruins. Once the monkey becomes stuck behind the immovable trees in the corners of the terrace it just disappears.

Issue: The upper-level of the ruins just glitches any monkey critter thats up there. It's impossibel to get a string of "catches". It will glitch to the other side of the balcony, disappear entirely for a bit in worse cases. I can "catch" the critter 10+ times and it never register because it glitches after each step.

I happens especially if the tree blocks their paths, but not exclusively. But there is no way to remove the trees.

Also just in general, it's impossible to see anything or track them with those tree's there... They're very pretty but between the glitches and the fact it's impossible to see, at this rate i'll never get them unless they stay exclusively to the hallway and lower level/area of the ruins.

Platform: Switch Issue: No Capybara in Lagoon for days. Can’t finish quest. Same with snakes. They are just not there. (Only been able to find purple and yellow one). I’ve spent hours and hours trying to find these critters. Also have same issue with monkeys in small spaces.

Im really struggling to feed the monkeys. They are running into the wall & teleporting or just disappearing. It makes them very difficult to feed, or can't feed them at all and I think them teleporting resets the amount of times you have to chase them, so its just an endless loop.

Issue: Teleporting/infinite chase. When chased, Monkey will hit one of the corners, vanish, and reappear elsewhere, resetting the chase sequence and making the monkey unfeedable. On the rare ocassion where it does not hit a corner, the monkey is still unapproachable after the 4th chase.

Switch:
In the Runes on the balcony, the Beige monkey keeps running into the corner where the tree was or the rock that you can mine & teleporting or disappearing. They don't leave the secret beach area or the balcony. They become extremely hard to feed as after they disappear or teleport it resets the chase.

Issue: I'm encountering the same issue as described above - the beige monkey keeps teleporting so it's impossible to catch it in order to feed it. It seems linked to the balcony in the ruins though.

Issue: When using the snakes, it seems to leave the critter there and not move/dissappear even if clicking another critter it will leave the snake and add the other critter. Will also let pet both but the snake does not move and can walk through it

Issue: Contributing to reporting monkey issues. So far, I have had issues with the Beige Monkey (The Ruins) and the Red and Beige Monkey (The Overlook). They let me chase them around a little bit, but before I can finally feed them, they always glitch out and disappear.

Issue: Black and grey monkey will glitch/disappear after the fourth or fifth chase. Cannot approach. Will not spawn anywhere other than the balcony in the ruins. Cannot move trees to try and solve glitch; restarting game does not solve issue.

Trying to feed the Red and Beige Monkey in the Overlook is impossible sometimes. If it is in the lower area “hidden garden” it glitches and hides behind the walls in the hallway or behind rocks and then it starts over. I have chased this money back and forth 20 times and it won’t let me feed it.
