Issue: Cannot connect to online services via mac application. I have no problems on xboxgame pass so ik it's mac app specific and not my router. I did not have the latest game update when it started. I downloaded the latest 1.7.4.26 and the error persisted. Then I updated to OS Sanoma and error still persisted. The error also persisted with all old/new methods suggested to fix it.

Yup this is the response I got from Gameloft regarding the issue just now 🤦‍♂️

I’ll test out their “workarounds” once I get home, but don’t think it’ll work.

I’ve tried the hotspot and wired connection workarounds and it still doesn’t work

Please fix this it’s been a week and I’ve missed the Halloween event already because of this and I don’t want to keep missing more events 😭

Issue: I am having trouble connecting to the cloud when claiming reward codes. When i try to connect it goes through a loading screen and brings me back to the game only to rinse and repeat. Is connecting to the cloud down? I have rebooted my router and restarted the game several times. This issue has been happening for about a few weeks now, to claim my rewards i just claim anyway and hope i don't lose my rewards.

Issue: Unable to connect to online. Support gave a generic macro response on what I can do to possibly "fix it". Issue is clearly on Gameloft's end and not players.

This clearly is not an important action item with the dev team. Very disappointing.

As for everyone else, this has been ongoing for a week and I cannot complete the starpath, get moonstones, participate in dreamsnaps, etc. After yesterday's big announcement I'm very discouraged that Mac issues will continue to not be prioritized. Still cannot claim code rewards after a year of development either, hopefully this will also be fixed by the update. Please fix the connection issue so we can at least play the game like others.

Gameloft suggested I use my phone data, but did not do anything.

Dev teams response. AKA instead of actually looking into the issue they are going to point the fingers at Apple. Their "fix" did not work, surprise surprise.

The dev team determined people are experiencing connection issues due to Apple re-issuing some certifications. So If you not able to access online services, we recommend you to sign out and re-sign into your Apple account.
If you are still experiencing problems or just have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I bought another game today to play on steam since I have it saved to the cloud and can't play on that either. Says connectivity there also.What is going on.

for me, and another mac user, we had to keep ddv running in the background. open ddv. while ddv is running: 1) sign out of appstore and icloud. 2) shut down or restart (make sure the box to re-open windows when logging back in is checked), 3) start/power your mac back up. 4) don't log into anything just let ddv re-open. it worked if you see a new window prompting you to enter your age. then you can resume and log back in as normal.

-Go to DDV (it will ask for age and local save)

Honestly I don’t know who discovered this Apple ID trick and how they did it but oh my god thank you I can finally participate in my first dreamsnaps after not being able to do so for over a week 😭

Issue: Won't connect to internet despite it being perfectly fine. Verifying file integrity via steam doesn't fix it. The wired connection "fix" doesn't either because that's what I have. The workaround that worked for me was disconnecting my ethernet and using a hotspot. After it launches I can turn off my hotspot and plug my ethernet in until the next session.

so- Saturday, i did try the suggestion of logging out of the apple app store, and there was no change but this afternoon i started the game without trying to login- and i had mail in my mailbox. 📬 I was shocked and was able to login to game. now only if we were compensated for not being able to complete the star path...

Issue: I have not been able to access my game for three days due to internet issues. It won't even let me past the inital "can't connect to Epic Games" account screen or choose offline mode to play the game. The game will only work on my switch and none of my computers. This is really frustrating and I lost three days of progress due to being unable to use my cloud save.

PC: Stream Issue: I cant get online at all. I have tried uninstalling reinstalling. I have booted up the game and rebooted it. I have checked to see if the files are good and they are and I dont know why I can't get online at all. I would really like to get this fixed because I wanted to play on halloween and I could not get on at all and I know I just got a new computer but I dont think that should cause this.

Mac having same issues as everyone else. Wifi and ethernet stable connections. Cannot save or connect to the cloud save either. Please fix bought a computer just for this and now I cant play

Issue: My friend has been able to connect to everything on his console, but Dreamlight Valley is not connecting for him, he restarted the console, uninstalled, and reinstalled the game, yet no result. I don't know if this is an issue with Oceana servers, but my friend is getting annoyed about it.

still the same issue as from 29.9.. On Xbox/Xbox Game Pass .Can't play the game because connectivity issues.
it is ridiculous that people from the community have faster solutions (which ACTUALLY work) than the team itself (at least for pc/windows). (edit because i found my old post)

Issue: Haven't been able to connect to the game since I got it three days ago through Gamepass. So far, I have tried restarting my console, restarting my router, using a mobile hotspot, uninstalling the game and reinstalling and I even deleted my User Profile and my save files, nothing has worked.
