Issue (Include Error Codes): I don't any error code, honestly I just don't know where to post. The game crashes when I try to enter Belle and Beast's realm. The screen freezes in black and loading logo is also freeze. And I have no other option than to force to quit the game

Issue: Internet Connectivity Issue
After updating this morning when I launch the game it gives me a box that reads: "Cannot connect to online services. Continue in offline Mode." If I click Connect it then says "Cannot connect to online services. Continue playing in offline mode." Again. I have been trying for a couple of hours and have restarted my computer. I am currently typing this on the computer so my internet is working just fine.

Platform series x everytime I go to goofy stall or to put items in my chest the game freezes why is this not fixed after a month now the last two seasons now. Can you please adjust this game ending issue look at cloud issues maybe server issues this is a little frustrating as it had done it ten times in one hour now

Issue: Game freeze/crash during Frozen realm quest: "The Spirits Of Nature"
I wasn't sure I was being specific enough reporting this problem, so I wanted to indicate the quest name where I was having the problem. It is during "The Spirits Of Nature" that whenever I get close to Anna while returning Bruni to her, the game freezes up and crashes on me, and this has been going on since at least "The Remembering" update when the Fairy Godmother was added.

Please look into this and fix it ASAP as I can't proceed any further without Anna or Elsa to help unlock the rest of some of the biomes by upgrading my Royal Tools.

Issue: When I got the confirmation on whether or not to hand over the 5 flying books to Belle, the box froze after i went for the option of giving her the items. The background keeps moving, but i cant do anything in game without having to close the game completely.

After restarting it (cant open settings either so i had to use keybinds) the quest continues from where it froze, but i had to enter the realm etc. over again.

When attempting to launch the game receive "Game Initialization Error (#201)
I attempted to reverify my files through steam, shut down steam entirely, and relaunch. Same error.
I was on the game all day since this morning, relogged about 20 minutes ago and have not been able to connect.

I am currently on the Curse quest with Gothel, and this started when I began that quest line. Every time I try to open the map (pressing m, using a well, trying to open it through the menu) the game freezes then closes. I get no error code when it does this

Issue: Game always freezes at first start, I have to force close the game and start it again for it to work. It's stuck at the very first loading bar, not the one with the current patch's background, but the one with the black background at the very beginning, that's usually only there for a second. Since yesterday's patch, each time I start the game, it gets stuck on this screen forever. Closing the game and then starting it again makes it behave as normal and it loads just fine

Issue: I ask Mickey to hang out, and the second I press M to view the map. It crashes. It's happened three times. Also, I don't know if it makes a difference, but I also have the starpath quest to hang out with the Wizard's apprentice. Update: I tried it with Scrooge, and the same thing happened. Update 2: I tried it with Remy. Same issue happens. Update 3: Tried to stop hanging out with them, and opening the map. Crash still happens.

Platform PC - Steam. As with others, I just started the mother gothel plot line and now the game crashes when I try to move to the map tab. No error, it just freezes completely.
I tried rebooting and reinstalling.

Worth adding that when I load the save using Xbox cloud gaming it also crashes.

Issue: "Game initialization error (#4)"
I stopped the game because it got stuck on a me serving someone at remy's restaurant when I was giving them their meal (which happens a lot by the way but that's not the issue right now) and after I turned it off and then turned it on again it stopped at the loading screen where the seasonal image is and it's put "Game initialization error (#4)"

PS.: I tried everything, I deleted epic games and dreamlight Valley I reinstalled them, the issue is still present

Issue: Crashing during the quest "The Curse." After you speak to mother gothel in her tower, and the cinematic plays from the shadow moving from her tower to the town, you are no longer able to open the map or any menus without the game crashing to desktop with no error codes.

I was able to stop this issue by completing the full "the Curse" questline without accessing my menu or maps, and as soon as the cinematic at the end played after speaking to mother gothel again, it stopped crashing.

No crash, but **lagging as hell!
**
While I'm the candle-man (Costume from Belle) the game is lagging, I can barely walk, it's like in slow motion, the text while talking to beast is stuttering, every line, every movement all takes super long.
The problem was before too in the world, while running/sliding a curve or from one area to another, or harvesting is impossible since months!

The loading screen by entering Belles Realm takes over minutes.

Issue: There is no error code. For about 5 days now, I've gotten infinite loading screen after moving furnature/decorating my valley. It loads and then starts moving things around seemingly infinitely, until I force quit the game and reload it. Upon reload, those items will sometimes be in the place I left them or in random areas.

My Game crashes every time i try to enter the Beauty and the beast relam. Tried Both by walking there and by the castle shortcut on the map. It worked on the first day, but now when i should bring her the enchanted canvas it crashes at every attempt. I saw that there is at least one star path duty related to the beast which i can not complete if i can’t even bring them to the valley.

Game stopped connecting to the servers after I couldn’t receive a recipe from Beast, unsure if it’s related but any object I tied to clear from my bag for the recipes became frozen and unable to be selected, so that’s where the trouble started

You might not be the only one. I'm having trouble connecting to the cloud save via Steam myself. It even at one point failed to retrieve my Steam ID when I launched the game and I had to force-stop and restart it.

Issue: Confirming to hand a NPC a quest item causes my game to freeze and I have to Alt-F4. I have a feeling it has to do with me pressing A on my controller to hand over the item right as the menu pops up. This has happened a few other times in the last day with other quests and NPCs. I also tried using my mouse to confirm handing the item over and esc on the keyboard to get out but it still stayed on this screen.

Crashed 20+ times in under an hour. No error code. Tried lowering my graphics, to turning off vsync. Helped for five minutes then started to crash when trying to open any tab.

Due to having issues on the Xbox, I bought it on Steam, and got less than 8 hours into it before it would crash as soon as I open the menu. There are no error codes because it completely shuts down the game. And my PC does not crash for much bigger games.

Just a question on the item limits, on Xbox One it's 3000, but PC it's 6000 right? So why when I load on PC the item limit still says 3000 and is grayed out for me? Also, could I ever load the same save up on Xbox One if i go to the 6000 limit?

I'm not sure where to go fornthis but I experience alot of freezes when ever I get puzzle pieces, serve food, buy from the premium shop or get dreamlight, all the windows always freeze forcing me to have to restart the game

Issue: Game crash when doing the first Realm Quest in the Frozen Realm

I just can't return Bruni to Anna without the game crashing as soon as I try to load the realm up as it crashed when I first tried returning Bruni to her after collecting him, and keeps crashing whenever I go into the realm to return him after that. If I can't return him to Anna, I can't finish the realm quests and unlock Anna and Elsa. Please fix this.

Issue (Include Error Codes): Getting a lot of intermittent freezing and crashing. When switching UI (like going from gardening to viewing inventory or decorating, etc) the window will get stuck at the loading screen and then eventually crash. Never really had performance issues before this update.

Lots of crashing on Steam/PC whilst doing anything really. Often I'll be planting or decorating and it will crash. At times I will open the map and it will crash as well. There's a lot of freezing and pausing . I did an amazing design and it crashed and nothing saved. There weren't issues like this before the update, I'm using a high end gaming computer. There's no reason it wouldn't be able to handle the game. I have no issues running any other games. It's getting to the point that I don't want to play because I'm fearful it will crash after spending so much time on it.

Platform is Steam/PC and my game is becomes unresponsive pretty much doing anything. I could be planting, watering, fishing, picking flowers. It usually happens within the first 30 mins of play whether I've saved the game or not... usually when I haven't saved.

Issue: I've been running into the issue of my game freezing/locking when I go to talk with an NPC sometimes. The first dialogue box pops up, but then nothing else like the dialogue options. I can't click to progress anything and i can't exit the conversation. Music and animations still play and the camera can rotate, but I have to completely close my game every time it happens.

Man, the game's officially dropping in Less than a month and are they EVER gonna fix this Issue thats been here since Early Access Launch?! The issue where you click too fast and the Textbox stays up, leaving you with literally no other option but to wait 5 minutes for the autosave to kick in and then reset my game?? You literally cant get rid of that textbox, youre forced to wait and do nothing unless you wanna lose some progress. We can't still be on this... It happens on Xbox and PC, so can only assume its a Platform-wide issue. This needs fixing for certain

Not sure if this count's as a crashing issue but on steam when I pick up memories that are dropped by farming, fishing, etc. there is a chance that the memory opens and when I close it the menu closes but the memory is stuck open. I have to hard reset the game to do anything afterwards. I also have the game on switch and haven't seen it there as of yet so it seems to be a pc exclusive issue if I had to guess. This does not happen for every memory but it happens often enough to be a regular issue.

So, all of a sudden, my Dreamlight Valley Game won't load tonight upon opening the game. I play it on my PC and was literally playing it a few hours ago with no issues. It's freezing on the black loading screen right after it shows image of Gameloft. The star in the lower corner stops spinning. I should also add that i restarted my computer and reinstalled the game. It's still happening and freezes and crashes. Does not even make it to title menu.

Platform: Windows. Issue: Frozen Realm First Quest Crashes. I finished the quest for Anna by collecting the salamander and I go to give Anna the Salamander but it crashes. I finally got it to save but it crashed again. Now every time I go back into the frozen Realm it crashes. Any solution or has anyone else experienced this?

Platform PC: XBOX Gamepass I opened a blue chest in the Frosted Heights and it started glitching. It gave me a message which said I could not open when I am not online. However, I was online. I checked to make sure. The box disappeared after the message and I did not get any moonstones.

Not a crashing report but a performance one.

This game runs terrible on my gaming machine. Frequent and terrible frame drops. Stuttering. Yes I have adjusted my settings and played with them to try and find the optimal combination.

It is not a PC issue as I can run RDR2 and Elden Ring at much higher FPS and graphics settings.

Really hoping for better optimization of DLV.

Hi I hope im in the right place, Platform: PC / Steam. Issue: My game doesnt even want to start. It shows the black screen with disney followed by Gameloft. but after that the star appears in bottom which spins which means it loads, but after a second it just stops spinning and in my task manager it says; not responding. I tried: restarting pc, reinstalling, reinstalling on different drive. Nothing seemed to work, I didnt had any update before, or windows update. I left my home for a week and I come back and it doesnt work anymore.

Platform: Steam Deck Issue: Game keeps freezing/crashing. Will run smoothly for a good 30 minutes to an hour then freezes suddenly with no warning or error code. Both times no error codes and first time it went black while second I could still see my person who was frozen in place with no music playing. Only started up today was fine Thursday November 16, when I played last.

Issue: Game is stuck in infinite loading loop after startup. Disney and gameloft splash screens load and then am stuck with black screen and spinning white stars in bottom RHS.

Cannot seem to make it stop.

kindred dust I did not find any fix yet. I contacted support, but I did not receive an answer...

Yeah, it took like a week for them to respond to my email. They said my message was “lost in the database” and they didn’t receive it on time. But apparently they are working on the issue. 🤷‍♀️ I ended up buying it on my bf’s Nintendo switch and have been playing on that.

Issue: (unfortunately no error code) every time I try to go into the Beauty and the Beast realm to speak to The Beast, my game freezes on the loading screen and eventually crashes.
