Issue: Appears my submissions are not being detected in the two most recent dreamsnaps.

I didn’t get any rewards for the previous one. And for the kitchen one I’m not sure if it went through. Because I uploaded it but then couldn’t see my submission. I guess I’m going to have to open a case. Just annoying because I was one of the people on xbox locked out in the early weeks of the feature and it’s very disappointing to be having these issues now and being left out.

I tried to claim my dreamsnap reward today, and at first it seemed fine, but then my game was stuck and I had to force-close and when I reopened my game the dreamsnap thing said claimed, but no chest was in my inventory :/ makes me a little sad - but I hope things gets looked at, and I just participated in the next dreamsnap thingy 🙂

Issue: Each time I try to take a photo and submit to Dreamsnaps, a pop up comes up that says I can’t submit it because it has Touch of Magic when I know for a fact it doesn’t because I don’t really use it. The only TOM items that I have in my valley are tables that I only used for my farms. I’ve changed locations and changed outfits but it still wouldn’t work and yet I had no TOM near me. I had to remove ALL the touch of Magic I’ve had placed throughout my valley just to get it to work.

I am getting a TOM error Xbox X every time I try to submit. I don’t have TOM items in the pic, added trees and fence to block off area and even went through and removed any TOM items from nearby biomes. I’ve decided I cant use them if I want to participate in DreamSnaps which is a big disappointment I tried about 50 variations of this pic narrowing scope and removing food items etc. I’m at a loss. I want to submit. If you see any offending item that I dont, please advise or otherwise tell me how to fix so I can submit

It can take some time for DreamSnaps rewards to show up due to server lag. Logging out of the game and back in again should also remedy the issue.

Issue: I’m not entirely sure what the issue is. My mum was working on her challenge for this week, but it kept telling her she had touch of magic. The only thing I could figure is it was detecting something beyond the rock wall? When she rotated the camera and tilted down, she was able to submit. In the 3rd picture (on the meadow facing the beach) I believe it’s detecting the furniture down on the beach, maybe a ToM I have way further down near skull island?

I got my rewards from my dreamsnap, including 3 items inside the gift (two of them were the same aquarium), but I have only 1 aquarium in my inventory, and I can’t find it when I check the mermaid items with the filter.
The second issue is about the catalog: the same item appears twice in different parts (in the little mermaid collection and also the general collection).

Same here. Normally in the clothing tab there is also a button at the top (next to where you can hit filter) that filters by the dreamsnap requirements and it isn't showing up for me this week. Sometimes it registers some Playful clothes but never any casual clothes despite filtering by that when I was searching.

I've been submitting now 3 weeks a row my dreamsnap photos and I haven't received any rewards. I understood you'll get the rewards one week after submitting. Not sure if it's related but I wanted to try dreamsnaps since they arrived to dreamlight valley but I've been only trying then last 3 weeks after I was able to start venellope quest as when this dreamsnaps update arrived and I talked with venellope, the game crashed and didn't open for months until one of the last fix updates.

Issue: {More of a comment than issue?} I notice every time I vote, there are submissions that don't even relate to the category whatsoever? For example, this week with "Critter Love", many didn't even have critters in it and they were just regular selfies. Some even looked like they were from past dreamsnaps! I don't think that's fair voting. And if people ARE submitting things that aren't related, then HOW because whenever I take pictures to submit, I HAVE to meet the criteria otherwise I can't submit. I love doing this every week and I look forward to it, but these things just seem a little odd.

I've been running across a lot of low pixelated submissions that are very obviously switch users. More than usual this week. I don't want to post anyone's work without permission but, I did take some screenshots if needed. I'm not sure if this is a concern or not 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also never received my reward for the fun with fall snap. iv'e tried verifying my fails, un installing the game deleting everything and re installing my back up save. It looks like this is a known issue on Xbox but i haven't found any information about it also being a steam issue.

Hi, it’s an outfit challenge. Try filtering your wardrobe, not your furniture

Edit: just wanted to say it took me a bit to realize they alternate every week. So last week decor/furniture, this week outfit, next week will be decor/furniture again

The dreamsnaps stuff really needs to be a priority to be fixed. Clearly it's not working right. Getting photos that are very obviously from the previous week and voting errors and lower scores that are obviously due to this whole problem. Dreamsnaps should be put on hold until it's fixed because a lot of us are putting a lot of time into this and don't even know if our snaps are being rightfully seen or voted on.

I have the game on both Switch and PS5, and today I noticed the scoring just doesn’t seem right. I only noticed because my rank and score were pretty close, but the moonstone reward seems way off.. On the switch I got 4000 moonstones and ps5 I only made 900? My rank was only 1000 more than switch and score only 10 less. So how is the moonstone reward soo different? Wish there was a way to see how our dreamsnaps were actually being scored and what rewards= however much moonstones. Because the scoring just doesn’t seem right.

Issue: After selecting and adding required objects to my dream snaps picture ,it isn’t counting them? It doesn’t register the proper amount no matter how many times I try. I have spent over 4 hours trying to get my dream snaps to work. I go into each category and select over the required amount but my list never changes up in the corner and always shows the same numbers. Ex. Green-1/3; Delicate- 0/3 ? Problem: DreamSnaps Submission Error #11 & QR code failure.
Last week I received my copy of the Cozy Edition for Xbox and despite expecting it to fail due to not having gamepass tried to submit a photo only to get an error #11. I figured it was due to not paying for multiplayer yet my second attempt seemed to go through and it even showed up on my Switch as submitted. This week I tried again yet once again got error #11 and nothing seemed to resolve it so I decided to get gamepass to see if that solved my problem. Sadly it seemed to not be related as I’m still receiving the same error message. I also on another note have trouble getting the QR code to work on either system as it often gets me a string of code saying access denied.

Issue: Touch of Magic items registered out of sight and down the hill in another biome. Doing my dreamsnaps at that blue picnic blanket you see at the top left of the screen, and it's registering the four last touch of magic items I have in my valley on the beach at the bottom right of the picture. I had to remove them before I could submit. Frustrating not to be able to have fun with ToM items without worrying I'll have to just tear it down for the next dreamsnaps.

Platform: Switch Issue 1: loading into the main screen (first opening the app) and then loading into the game is taking ages. Took me over 15 minutes to load in then froze while trying to change my characters clothing. I had to force close down the game. Is this just my switch or an issue with the game? Issue 2: I submitted for last weeks Dreamsnaps but never received any reward for this. At one point I had a notification on my mailbox, but as I opened it no new mail was inside.

I still never received my camping rewards and I'm frustrated by it! Is there not a way to contact support? Cause clearly I wasn't the only one who never got any rewards

Platform: PC (Steam)
Issue: I have not received any rewards for the Dreamsnap submissions of week 17 (WALL-E's Garden) and week 16 (Something Wicked). I tried restarting the game to see if it was because of connection issues, but my inbox remained the same. As you can see, I haven't received any mail since the Trick or Treat challenge and it is discouraging me to continue with the Dreamsnaps competitions.

I tried to claim my rewards for the "Camp Dreamlight" challenge this past weekend but the game seemed to bug out when I hit 'A' to claim. Upon reloading the game showed claimed, but no rewards were received in my bags or in my moonstone count. A few seconds later I received an error saying there was a connection issue with the online servers. I've tried to load from a cloud save but the game mail still shows claimed unfortunately.

I have a notification in my mailbox and can't see any new mail. I assume it's supposed to be my Wall-E's garden dreamsnap rewards, but there's nothing there

I have a bit of trouble submitting dream snaps more often than not.
Keeps giving me error code 11. Is there something I can do to remedy?

#(Archived) Update 7 - DreamSnaps Issues

It can take some time for DreamSnaps rewards to show up due to server lag. Logging out of the game and back in again should also remedy the issue.
