#(Archived) Update 7 - Sound & Music Issues

Platform: Switch
Issue: "Into the Unknown" Melody repeatedly plays throughout the game. I've tried restarting the game and leaving the valley to go into a realm and it still continues to play in every room I'm in.
Screenshot/Video: N/A Can't capture
Platform: PC
Issue: Stitch played his ukulele after I switched his costume and there was no sound for it. Same for Eric playing his flute on the beach. No flute noise.
Platform: PC
Issue: The "bloop" sound (for lack of a better description) the game makes every single time I pick something up or place an item while in furniture mode is doing my head in. It's too loud and too constant; I've had to turn my sound down while I'm decorating. It was fine how it was before!
Platform PC & Switch Issue: characters are muted
Platform: Switch
Issue: I've noticed since the last update the characters are quiet I thought is was an issue with my volume on my switch but my volume is all the way up and the music and sound are so quiet before this update and the last one I didnt have an issue with that at all
Platform: Steam
Issue: Ferris wheel music got stuck and overlapped any other music in the game, outside as well as inside buildings. Tried deactivating the ride, music didn't stop. reactivating ride started another loop of music. Leaving ride deactivated and restarting game fixed issue for now.
Platform: PC (Steam)
Issue: I can hear the Coin-op Game from outside the room of my house whether it's inside or outside.
Platform: PC (Steam)
Issue: The "Scary Surprise Boxes" sometimes play sounds.
Platform: PS4. I did some fishing in the big meadow pond next to my teacup ride. When I was done the teacup music followed me literally everywhere, even inside my house!
Platform: Switch
Issue: The game is constantly playing the wrong music. I heard one of the default village themes inside of Dream Castle, and just now in the Forest, I heard the restaurant music followed by the theme for Anna and Kristoff’s home
Platform: Steam
Issue: can't hear Eric's flute at all, I believe Kristoff's lute also gets the silent treatment
Platform: Switch
Issue: I've noticed that certain furniture items such as the Haunted Organ and Sugar Rush arcade game will continue playing their theme even after being turned off and can be heard from the opposite sidecof the Valley and inside other buildings and houses.
Platform: Steam Issue: My game is so quiet, villagers barely make any noise. When I first started this game last year, it was very lively. I never hear Donald's tantrums anymore, Mother Gothel never makes her joke about how good she looks and her insane laugh, which always made me laugh. I loved it when all the villagers used to make noise non stop. You've really destroyed the charm of it for me. Now im lucky if one of the villagers make a sound in 15 minutes. I miss the chaos. Please just revert all the changes you've made to the audio and villagers, or make a slider or something.
Platform: Xbox PC
Issue: Donald Duck no longer quacks and yells when he trips, I was one of the few people who liked that.
Platform: Switch
Issue: Like other users, since about the time Donald's tantrums were quieted for the first time my villagers are practically silent. No one greets me anymore; I never hear Ariel singing, Elsa sighing, or any of the other character comments I've gotten to know since starting to play. I have no idea what Simba, Nala, the Fairy Godmother, Vanellope, Belle or the Beast sound like apart from talking to them. The only sound NPCs make are those with instruments – Eric, Kristoff, and Stitch, and even they play less than they used to.
Platform: PC, Switch and Steam Deck.
The spooky speaker no longer turns on and plays music.
I have no sound/music from anything or anyone.. Very disturbing
Platform: PC
Issue: Same as the people above, all the characters being quiet makes it feel like a ghost town. At least Vanellope used to yell songs at me when she was first introduced (which I loved) but recently she went radio silent as well.
Platform: Ps5
Issue: I miss my npcs talking to me. The valley seems dead now. Minnie no longer tells me she loves me. Vanellope doesn't sing. Donalds tantrum is silent. I hate it. I loved how lively the valley was and it made it enjoyable for me- and hearing the characters tell me sweet things as i walked by really cheered me up when i was feeling down. Now its hard to even enjoy the game because i feel so disconnected.
Please add an option in game where people can mute characters if THEY want to, and give us back our sound. Don't take it away from everyone just because some dislike it.
Platform: Switch
Problem: Music still skipping when it rains
Posting this as well as other places but theusic doesn't play when I catch fish and hasn't been since update 5, platform is PC
Platform Switch
Issue: No music in Frosted Heights. Have had this issue since I started playing the game which was right before update 5.
Platform: Steam
Issue: audio from rides still gets stuck playing despite player being nowhere near the ride in question. Audio follows into buildings. Instance in video: teacup ride music
Platform: Xbox X
Issue: items like christmas tree and the its a small world doeant make any sounds i am unsure what other things should make noise or do thing when i interact with them but nothing i interact with really does anytning i can pick things up mine cook ect, but items i feel should do things with the interact doesnt work
I play on the same platform and have the same issue.
