Hey @simple tangle! Just wanted to let you know that we've found this newer channel that was created for the purpose but had also gone dormant. Apologies for my mistake and any confusion! I'll go ahead and repost and add a couple.

My kitchen table the parts or motifs are

2 flourishes / color is middle between white and black

Cresent moon / found in Celestial / color middle between white and black

Round night sky / found in characters

28 wolf night sky / found in animals

Made table black on black / full gloss / metal turned on

The longest part is increasing the wolf night sky's and rotating to cover up previous ones moon as well as making sure it goes to side of the table.
I imagine if lined the bottom of the image with others you could really make a nebula looking piece really pop that much more.
Once the wolves are in place. Place the round night sky on no increase or decrease necessary unless want and place center.
Then the Cresent you may need to slightly increase to fit the roundness of the round night sky
The flourishes , I went with 2 different ones and placed at the ends of the table.

Hope this really helps anyone as I've been asked by a few.

REMY BASIC WAREDROBE

2 Remy motifs holding spoon found in characters

The wardrobe is black /full gloss/ metal turned on
The handles are white / full gloss / metal turned on

First motif , increase in size, place on left center door , and start taking to right door where doors separate. Once image disappears just go back left till reappears.
Right side just like the left , only this time we are going to line up the right side of Remy with the left so it looks like one motif.🙂

23 wolf night sky motifs from animals

The motifs were the biggest issue trying to cover every last bit while coveting the moons. All were full size increased. Just a matter of rotating to get things covered. Enough patience and you can do it as well.🙂

The round night sky I placed on her right side lower front
With Crescent fitting snug with the round part of round sky motif.

The flourishes , increased size full and rotated so length is up and down and tried placing directly on left side from top to bottom.
The flourishes don't overlap , just barely touch without.

This one took me awhile I'll admit but I think it paid off🙂

Looking forward to seeing anyone else's designs and how to. If any thing I make , and someone is interested I'll post it here so others may also enjoy.

14 wolf sky motifs from animals

1 Remy with spoon motif from characters/color white

3 flourishes/ color white

3 colorized Remy from characters

The wolf sky's again , increased size and covered up moons as much as plausible. Leaving only one moon top back of backpack.
Part of trick was taking the wolf night sky to the sides and working so it came out without moons and covered all.
The white Remy with spoon I placed under the one moon I left
2 white flourishes I placed , one behind and one infront of him.
The 3 colorful Remy , I placed towards the bottom of backpack and all in a row.
The 3rd flourish I chose a different flourishes and placed directly under Remy. 🙂

BASIC WAREDROBE

The wardrobe much like the dress , table , and chairs all have same motifs, only difference may be the flourishes but still same.

Waredrobe both color black / full gloss / metal turned on

4 Flourishes / color middle between black and white

1 Crescent moon from Celestial / color middle between white and black

2 round night skys from Characters

35 Wolf Night Sky from Animals

As with the others , it'll be easier placing the wolf night sky's with waredrobe as white. Then make black when done.
I started on the sides , top and back.
Kept the wolf motif upright and you can get it to cover the legs of waredrobe. May take couple to do 1 but it works. As going up and around remember to cover the moons. (Unless if that's what you want). The doors sane principle increase and rotate as necessary and place to cover all white and moons.
Round night sky 1 place on left door and resize to how you want. Push towards the seam of where the doors meet. Once disappear go back one to have show again. The right side we will resize and try to fit with the one on left door to make look like it's 1 seamless motif.
The Crescent moon , resize and rotate to where the round night sky fits perfectly within the curvature of the Crescent.
The flourishes, I went with 2 different ones on both sides the the lower handles at bottom
Resize as needed and rotate to where laying length wise side to side and place on sides of handkes🙂

BASIC CHAIR

Color / black / full gloss / metal turned on

2 Flourishes / color middle between white and black

1 Crescent moon found in Celestial/ color middle between white and black

1 round night sky found in characters

27 wolf night sky found in animals

I found this easier to have the head of the wolf facing the center of seat and starting going round doing the side edges , and side corners first with the bottom of the wolf covering the sides.
Once we got to the sear cusion itself, it was just rotating and increasing size to cover moons. I did have 1 moon left when finished but it worked out as it was in center.

Crescent moon resized to fit the curvature of the round night sky
The flourishes I resized and made length wise from front to back and put one on both sides of the cusion top of the seat.

I should note , the ones before are not all 1 massive post. They are separate, I just added dots to help space out so didn't run together

Anyone know if there are any guides or tutorials out there for using touch of magic to create fake ponds/ Rivers/ pools etc with the rugs? I’ve seen so many cool ones on random yt videos or on streams but i have no idea where to begin :p

Hello, do people know how to duplicate designs so I can modify a dress I made and save as another design?

Also are motifs recolorable? There's a paintbrush icon so it looks like it is but I cannot figure out how to recolor the motif. I'm on switch

Is anyone having issues with TOM clothing items glitching and moving pieces around/ deleting them? I’ve designed this dress twice now and just had to fix it again. You can see there is extra stuff in the armpits I didn’t put there and there are layers not showing on the tie I created.

I’ve tried restarting , changing outfits etc

New to all this: how do I duplicate a design to then add more separate from the rest, meaning the design becomes its own entry in the ToM menu listings? (I'm not talking about just 1 design element, although I'm curious about that, too.)

unfortunately we can't do this at the moment. you'd have to recreate the design for other furniture pieces or clothing pieces

tips on how to make the stitches without using the stitches motif cause I don’t have that I tried using the wand motif but it didn’t work as well

This happened to one of my dresses too, it seems is a bug of this clothes model, it can happen to the one without sleeves but it's minor, I've already reported this problem and for now in my case the only way to put that dress with the motifs right is with the muscular bodytype.

I knew a technique so that the ToM clothes wont be ruined, Just don't place the clothings in ur boutique except if someone is asking for them

i took a few hours to make a half black and half white hoodie to go with the black and white statement pants, i used alot of motifs for making the split and making one whole side black and one white but then the motifs were messed up when i launched the game one time, i couldnt fix it and have just never looked at that hoodie again because i just feel upset everytime i do 😦

The camera can see very far and through other things, so it could even be something in another biome. There is a toggle in camera mode to turn off ToM items but if it does work, check to make sure your Boutique isn't in the frame if it has custom designs in the windows

I made a mainly to 'meet Oswald quest line' jersey. The edges are music notes and I made it mostly black and white but put a little color so that it represents old and new and reintroducing color to him but not too much all at once. I like turning the jerseys into more fancy jackets:
