I did the theme park picture which I see a lot of on the submissions and it was not "unique" so I ended up going back to a place in my valley I have had for a while and tweaked it a bit...so now step through the wardrobe into the land of Narnia.

This is my place holder submission until I can fix what’s “wrong with it.” It’s missing quite a bit, but I can’t figure out what yet.

It’s an outdoor theatre that my city calls “Theatre in the Park.” I grew up watching musicals in a picnic blanket eating whatever we made from home and playing catch in the grass and throwing frisbees. They had a concession stand and they added seating you could pay extra for to have a real seat. But to camp out on the lawn to watch the play or musical only costs $1 to get.

Not being able to use the mannequins as human analogs outside kind of ruins it and I don’t know how to fix that. But this is it until I can figure it out.

Changed the angle and hope it helps, but I need to fix the empty space now.

My day of Dreaming is hitting up the arcade at the beach with friends. This is where we dream of being a race car driver, a hockey player, a pro bowler, even a space alien. its not as fancy as some others but I think it has the heart of the theme :) I put together my favorite things about the game, to me it's about being able to feel like you are really in the world with your favorite characters and using your imagination and expressing yourself. So I made a set up with my favorite villagers (woody and buzz <3) and some toy story items of course, and for the being yourself part I wore my trans pride shirt

🐞 The villagers sit down to enjoy a movie, but are surprised to find themselves playing a part in the motion picture! Hijinks ensue in the amusement park, but luckily a certain miraculous duo arrive to save the day! Once the villains are defeated, the butterflies are set free, thanks to Mirabel and Fairy Godmother. The magic of the valley works in very mysterious ways! 🐈‍⬛

My first attempt, plus some cat-astrophic snaps with the pun master himself! 😆 Tikki and Plagg also make an appearance in the form of the red sunbird and scary squirrel. Loving the unique concepts this week. It's great to see what makes the valley special for everyone. Good luck all! 💖

I really hope they change it to actually give us a theme to interpret to, not interpret the theme. I hope it don’t happen again because it’s kind of scary because you don’t know how everyone else interpret what the theme is, so it might be 50-50 on the voting. Just fyi - that frame makes it hard for some people (like me) to actually see the decor.

For example - the foggy frame hides the branch with candles and (to me) worsens the background blur.

Third camera mode will remove background blur and let you move the camera around

I wanted to create an “old school Mickey Mouse” picture, like the steamboat, black/white episodes. So I took picture in front of Donald’s boat (pond in valley) and stages Minnie and Mickeys houses behind and trying to get a picture with the as many of those characters in it. 🐞 The villagers sit down to enjoy a movie, but are surprised to find themselves playing a part in the motion picture! Hijinks ensue in the amusement park, and Mother Gothel is akumatized, but luckily a certain miraculous duo arrive to save the day! Once she is defeated, the butterflies are set free, thanks to Mirabel. The magic of the valley works in very mysterious ways! 🐈‍⬛

My final attempt, for now! 😆 Tikki makes an appearance in the form of the red sunbird. Mirabel reminds me of Alya, and Merlin is like Master Fu, so the miraculous magic comes from him. Loving the unique concepts this week. It's great to see what makes the valley special for everyone. Good luck all! 💖

When I think of what makes Dreamlight Valley special, I really thought about Natalie and how she entered this special place. What it means to her.

I remember it was dark when she got there, and that Merlin helped her immensely and introduced her to Dreamlight Magic. The Valley sure has gotten far; far from finished, that is, but still processing at everyone's own pace!

That's what makes the Valley special. Magic, and friends/(found)family.

Merlin loves the stars, so does Natalie and they really are pretty. The Well and the Plaza, that's about where it all started. The stars show all that the Valley has been through together (with its constellations), and these kinds of starry nights are super peaceful in the Valley.

So, Natalie took a while to stand still at the magic of the Valley where it all started with who it all started, and remember.
