Issue: Will not connect to the internet for cloud saves. My time is correct, I've reset my internet and restarted my computer several times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it just will not connect yet I have no problems with any other game.

Issue: game will not connect to the internet and im not able to cloud save nor buy from the premium shop. everything else on the steam deck and my other devices work fine. it's just the internet within the game that will not connect.

edit to add: as other have posted below my problem started on 7/18 as well.

Series x update works on profiles with no cloud save and using game pass. I'm getting the error for my ultimate edition with cloud save and also the Xbox is prompting me to buy game pass as if I hadn't bought the game already.

Issue: Cannot connect - try to do a cloud update save, will not connect. Opening Blue cases, will not connect. When I open the game the first message I receive is “cannot connect”. Not my network as I tested every connection there. Also I believe is an important note: this issues started BEFORE the patch. I was receiving the connection message before today’s (7/19) download.

Same for me. Also happens on my PC. Updates game (so there is a connection) but can't access my cloud save or path. And yes, was having this issue yesterday as well.

I logged in after the update and it didn't load my game. the game crashed and gave me a white box error. I restarted the game and it didn't load my current game it automatically loaded my cloud save. My cloud save has not been working for over 2 months. Meaning my entire valley reset two months back. EVERYTHING I did in my valley is gone. I have put messages in here about my cloud save not updating, and now because my cloud save didn't work, and it auto logged me in from my 2 month old cloud save I lost everything I've worked on. I'm furious.

PC Xbox can not connect to the internet since yesterday morning except for a few very brief times. I was able to get the game to connect over a hot spot from my phone for the store to work, but nothing for fixing my cloud saves.

Issue: I am unsure if this should be in Cloud Saves or in the Account issues, because it involves both.

I installed the update and when I loaded into the game it gave me the 201 error. I shut down the game and restarted it.

It gave me a loading cloud save notification and loaded into the game.

The main issue with loading cloud save data is I haven't been able to access my cloud save data since March. So all of my game saves have been local saves. I've been trying off-and-on to save in the cloud since March.

The cloud save data load-in overrode months of local save data. I've lost all my star coin and Moonstone purchased items and all of the last Star Path and the most current one.

I've lost all progress including Fairy Godmother and my Other Self.

This is exceedingly frustrating. I have put hours into this game.

i have an update from gameloft. I emailed them yesterday about the issue and they just replied. hopefully it’ll be fixed soon.

I lost progress over 80 days of playing. I couldnt use cloud save because everytime i tried to save it it gaves me an error. So almost everything i got from scrooge shop, some villians, my moonstones and my starcoins are gone. Everything i changed in my Valley is for nothing… (PS5)

I always manually save on cloud and local. Every time it says my game is X number of days out of date. Even if I played that morning or yesterday. Now people are saying they are losing months of progress and I’m stuck with no connection. I can only play locally

Issue: shows I'm not connected to the internet when I am and cannot connect / sync to cloud. This blocks me from accessing the premium shop as well. Was intermittent issue the week before the update but since it's constant.

Issue: Can not connect to the internet for cloud saving. Had no problems before the update. At first I thought it was a connection problem with the xbox it self because there was a bad storm happening at the time but now it's still going on and i'm shut the game off and restarted it and the console itself and the problem is still happening.

(Fun thing: I have reported this so many times that I can type this bug report from autosuggest)

Also whyyy is this hard? We have been uploading files since the dawn of time. I was here when we had 2400 baud modems. Uploaded files with no issues. Suddenly this is impossible to fix?

Issue: like everyone else unable to connect to internet even tho internet is running perfectly fine

I have reported this in the past and sent a ticket all I was told might be any anti virus stuff on my computer preventing it, but ive checked all that multiple times, firewall and all.

Another method I was told to try was use a Hotspot which works 10% of the time with that said if it did work 100% of the time id very much prefer not having to pull out my phone to create a hotspot every time i wanna play dreamlight especially when most the time i gotta relaunch it for it to work.

Can confirm that starting up the Xbox app after receiving the update on Windows today fixed the issue for my wife's game save! Thanks @austere yoke 🎉

I don’t have a screenshot, but i completed leveling up to 8 with vanellope just finished her battling quest and did some major decorating earlier… now that I come back home to play, I have my game really laggy and it basically reset my whole day as if my quests were never completed, my decorations are gone and all the revamping I did to my file from earlier had reset.

it did ask me before I started my game earlier about local or cloud save, not sure what that was but I opened the cloud save version (from what i thought would pick back up from earlier), but not what i was expecting

It keeps say my cloud save is out of sync by X number of days (currently 4) I play daily and manually force the cloud save each time. It pops up saying it’s successful but then stuff isn’t actually saving. Put down an item outside and it’s gone next time I load. I had to put it down again

Issue: I can't use the Disney Cloud save sync unless I play the game through the GamePass Cloud, only then does it allow me to update my Disney Valley Cloud Save. Normal Xbox Cloud save works fine.

Played hours worth of the game on my steam deck then logged onto the game today on my pc on steam and ALL my progress was gone. I was still logged into my cloud with email so I dont understand how this could have happend. Everything I experienced yesterday, Im exeriencing tonight while playing. The same memories the same items everything. Really upset by this, please fix the save issues.

Platform: Mac… Unable to cloud save, tells me that there was a failure. I have no problems accessing DreamSnaps, so I wouldn’t say it is an internet connection issue either.

FIX. THE. CLOUD. SAVES. My SSD died and fortunately, I had made one manual back up but because I can't cloud save on PC no matter what - I lost the 1k Moonstones gift, the OCEANVIEW gifts, and the last half of the items I got from the last star path. If I wouldn't have manually saved last month by dragging files onto a USB, I would have lost a heck of a lot more. FIX THIS.

Platform:Steam PC Issue: Could connect to initially load my cloud save from Nintendo switch from months ago, can not save on the cloud at all from the PC, only locally. I want to be able to play on the switch while on the go, and out of town, I've read a lot of people have had this issue, I've bought the game on two seperate consoles so this is very frustrating.

Issue: Suddenly my login information was gone and now it doesn't want to reconnect.
It's been two days sicne I can't get any online service. There isn't any obvious reason for something to be wrong on my side - my files are fine, I tried everything I can, reinstalled the game even but nothing helps. And the customer support form DOESN'T EVEN WORK?! I've tried several times to submit mine, and it says that it can't and to try later. What is happening? How are we supposed to connect and get any kind of information. What's all the ghosting? This is highly inappropriate and unprofessional.

I submitted a ticket and got a pretty standard copy/paste set of suggestions. "Use my phones hotspot to connect, try a wired connection, and disable 3rd party antivirus". I can't use wifi on my PC, so it's been a wired connection and I only use windows defender. I send a reply back stating all that and saying I am expericing no other weird connection issues with my computer. I hope they start looking into the servers, because it seems like it's affecting too many people to be our connection issues. :/

I am having the same issues. I use Steam on my pc and can not play online at all. Nothing has changed for my computer, just stopped working one day. No cloud saves - no blue chests. It started several days ago and is still not working. So frustrating.

They told me I "time skipped" and that's why I can't connect. I have never time skipped, I'm on PC! Why would I mess with my time settings?

I've had the game on my switch since it came out and never had this issue. Two days ago I decided I was going to buy it on steam so I could play on my PC or laptop. I open the game for the first time and it immediately tells me it can't connect online. I have no other issues with any other online game through steam and it's not like I time traveled in game since I just bought it. It's all extremally frustrating.

I never did that in my 100+ hours of gameplay and mine stopped working after the new dream snap challenge as well. I've never expected much from a studio like Gameloft but this is outrageous!!!
