Issue: Whenever I right clic on an item in my inventory to fast move in between chests, my character makes the 'eating' animation and sound and one of my food items in the inventory, even if I'm not selecting it, gets eaten.

All we can do is hope it doesn't take too long lol. - I was re decorating my FIRST floor in my main home when my right door disappeared, I've tried changing the layout of the room, changing my house skin, and running against the wall in the hopes that the door is still there...but its gone. I've sent in a ticket to game loft support and waited for three days for them to tell me that my message was lost in the database. I responded back and hopefully this time it doesn't get lost. I was hoping the update would fix the issue but nope. The door that poofed is my STORAGE door. I don't have access to months and months of things I've collected.

Lost a number of meals whilst transferring items into storage... maybe 10 or 15 pastry cream and fruits and Berry Salads (and I just noticed a couple of Anglerfish gone too). I believe she just ate them, I heard chewing noises but didn't realise what was happening until all but one of my meal stock was gone!
Doesn't happen if I drag items, only if I right click to transfer.

Like the above poster, I, too, am losing random food items when transferring items into chests, but only when the transfer method is by right-clicking. At present only food seems to be consumed; the eating animation plays; energy is gained.

Issue: Entire contents of house have disappeared - I have moved my primary house (which is fine) to the Forgotten Lands and have a secondary one in the Plaza which housed my storage. The central room was the only room decorated and appears to have reverted to the first wallpaper/floor I chose before I placed any items and all my placed items (several large chests, gold safes, signs etc) have disappeared. It's not a case that an old save has loaded because externally placed items are fine and I haven't lost any other progress. Items have not been returned to my inventory and I don't seem to be able to replace the skin on this house either.

I was decorating in my second home for the Venellope quest line, and I was having the decorating issue with things not saving or moving when I exited the furniture mode. I saved my game and went back to the menu screen. When I loaded in and went back to the house, the vintage phone I had placed was gone and it’s also no longer in my inventory.

I believe this classes as missing but the interiors in some of my placed houses have swapped, but the one that was storing all of my food and cooking resources has complete disappeared, rather than having been swapped to a different house item/house name: mike and sulleys apartment, the cottage

Issue: All items in my second house (Palace) disappeared and the floor and wallpaper reverted to the first ones I put. The items did not go back to my inventory. However before the update I had a problem where one of the doors in this house disappeared and the room was missing. At least now I have all doors back and I can reorder the items so it's kind of better

I know that the items being eaten when moving them to storage is an issue a lot of folks are experiencing right now, but I noticed something odd with it in my side game.
I have a brand new game that I have been working through on a separate Steam profile, and was not experiencing this issue at all until I upgraded my house for the first time. I am unsure if they are related, but it was a weird enough coincidence that I thought might be worth reporting.

Missing/swapped furniture
Palace, Purple Cottage, Mike and Sully's Apartment,
I don't have any screenshot or video.
I went into the cottage to decorate which is in the forest of Valor, but it's decorated like the palace which is in the Plaza. I go into the palace to check, and it has only the wallpaper I had put in the Cottage. The furniture is in Mike and Sully's Apartment, and the furniture from the apartment is gone. It's not in any room/floor of any spare home or main home, and not in my inventory.
I know this is extremely bizarre. I don't have any evidence to what the homes looked like inside before vs now. I intend to just remove and redecorate, but I am missing furniture now as a result of this bizarre glitch.

Items disappearing when moving to storage
I was moving fish to my storage and it disappeared. Not really a big deal because it was just herring, but still worth noting since it could happen to hard to retrieve items
Edit: So I see whenever I right click to put items in chest, my character does the eating animation, consuming the items I'm putting in the chest (fish and vegetables). Gems and stuff that's not edible are okay, but it seems like anything edible gets consumed (only one out of a stack though so don't worry if you put 10 Herring in your chests. You'll still have 9 from what it looks like). Not the whole stack, but it's still an issue. For me, it seems like putting the items in the chest manually (dragging the items instead of right clicking) protects the items from getting consumed. Just thought I'd update my report in case someone else is having these same issues
Another Edit: I was putting rich soil away into a chest and my character did the eating animation again. Rich Soil didn't get consumed or anything, but it did consume the lemons I had in my bag. I had 3 lemons and when I was moving the rich soil back and forth (3 to 4 times. Can't remember exactly) I saw that all my lemons were gone. From what it looks like, if you put a stack of edible items, there's a chance that your character will eat one from the stack. If you put non edible items, it has a chance to consume something from your inventory/storage (storage is not confirmed for me, but I'm just going to be careful anyways). Sorry for so much info. Hope this helps someone!

Whenever I try to transfer items from my inventory to storage chests (in my house) one of the items disappears. I use the right click transfer function, and if I'm transferring 10 of the same item, for example, only 9 will transfer. If I try to transfer a single item, it simply disappears.
Edit: I just read back through the comments & noticed a lot of people are having the same issue. I hadn't noticed if my character was doing the eating animation while this was happening, but I'm assuming so.

Issue: I was re-arranging items in my house and things wouldn't stay placed on surfaces. I relaunched the game and tried to place the small quirky teapot on top of a counter, but when I came out of furniture mode, it hadn't placed. I tried again and everything kept going back to how it was before, the counters would move and the teapot had gone into my inventory. I relaunched the game again and the teapot and counter I'd been using have both disappeared and I can't find them anywhere. They are listed in my collection.

My food keeps being eaten without me eating it. I have a stack of food in my inventory - some for character gifts - and it keeps vanishing when I open my inventory. I haven't clicked on it, I had nearly full yellow bar, there was no need to eat anything. It just vanished and my bar went to full. It has happened at least 3 times now. It ate my seafood platter, pastry cream and fruits, and meringue pie. all 3 items had been in the empty slot when they vanished. When I say vanished, I literally mean I opened my inventory and as soon as my inventory rendered, the item disappeared. I watched it just vanish the moment my inventory opened. There was no time to even move the cursor let alone click on the item and consume it.

This happens when I transfer an item, character makes the eating sound and item is gone. I have tried with keyboard and mouse as well. Where you right click to transfer, still ate my items. I wanted to share with everyone i lost all items in my second house. (Eric's ship) today I noticed I still had it all counted in inventory in crafting menu.
I cloud saved and then removed Erics ship. Replaced it and everything was back inside how it was prior to update.

Issue : when I opened my game two of my storage wardrobes were completely empty. I’ve lost half of my fruits and veggies that I had stacks of 50 of. The pictures show the half of each I still have and the empty other storage units. It took a long time to collect all of that and farm all of that so this was a big shock to just see my inventory gone.

I'd decorated the entire room of my second floor in my house to match the dreamsnap prompt, but when I exited furniture mode it all disappeared from the room. Only the wallpaper, flooring, and some of the wall decor remained.
Then I checked one of my rooms on the first floor, which I'd decorated a few weeks ago, and some of the furniture has disappeared. The stuff from the second floor all returned to the inventory as far as I can tell, but the stuff from my first floor weeks ago has completely vanished. It's not appearing in the inventory and I'm really bummed because it had all of my best items, and I can't remember exactly what was there before it vanished.

Issue: Game crashed, when Wall-E turned my putrified night shards into a powder. I did NOT receive the putrified night shard powder, but the quest still moved on to the next step. I am now stuck on finishing the recipe, owning the snow balls but having no way on creating a putrified night shard powder.

When I go to change the main house (purple cottage) to the original one the cottage came back in my inventory, then I placed the purple cottage but it disappeared and it also disappeared in my inventory. I don't know if that fits here, but since last update (or one before) when i move objects from inventory to chests and back, my character randomly eats something from my inventory. I'm clickink right mouse button to move for example seeds to chest and then I hear sound of eating (chrunch). I decided to repeat that a few times to see if my character ate smth and I noticed that Okra was disapearing. My energy is full so it's weird.

update on this, i think a lot of items in the game do not show in any category besides all, which makes them 10x harder to find. eg. jubilant topiary does not appear in foliage, decor, etc. but will appear in the all category

Created a new floor and new rooms for the DreamSnaps. Firstly when I put a bunch of furnisher out and pressed Esc most of it disappeared... including the door to the room! I'm now trapped in the room!!! I can't even find the doors in my inventory to try to swap it out (I own several spare designs) and the only way out of the room is to restart the game!

I just logged in after the patch and everything in my Monsters INC spare house is gone and reverted back to the old shabby starting, however, none of the items that were in that space are in my inventory. I am missing a couch, TV, beds, Monsters fireplace and much more. 3 rooms of items just gone. Issue: Still Missing Items - After my previous issues, everything from Mike & Sully's apartment appeared in Sweet House as DUPLICATES. If I removed from Sweet House, it removed the cooresponding item from the Apartment. I removed the house, furniture and all, and waited for the update.
Today after the patch, Mike & Sully's was empty except for Wallpaper and Flooring I had been playing around with in the Purple Cottage at some point. Purple Cottage was more or less as I had left it last. I dropped the Sweet House down and there was Mike & Sully's furniture still. I still do not have all of the items listed above for the Sweet House in inventory (slowly buying it all back from scrooge, but at 25 per day, it's a bit vexing.) I have just emptied and removed all secondary houses, leaving only my primary Castle. I was really looking forward to having houses for storage and cooking in each biome, but I guess that's not happening.

Issue: I have fished all bottles from their spots and only have 14 slivers out of checking all 16 spaces multiple times. I've fished and check my entire valley and still only seem to have 14 slivers with no means to finish the potatoe quest.

Issue: I was placing furniture and when I exited back to the game the items disappeared.
They are not in my inventory nor are they in another part of the map.
I am not at the inventory or placement item limit by a long shot.
I have quit the game completely and reloaded, however autosave has beat me to it, so the items seem ‘lost’.

Having this same issue, placing the brick fence the amount flucuates and randomly dissapears. I really hope it gets fixed because I've seen people having this issue since back in 2022 without it being fixed :/

Issue: once again, I am asking for help with the emerald bottle that has disappeared from my inventory. I had one bottle stored in my home. It disappeared. I have fished them all. I have checked each location at least 4 times. I have submitted a ticket. I have been denied help. It has been three months. Others have had this item restored. This is absolutely terrible support and so so frustrating.

Issue: Green Bottle has disappeared after being “caught” or transfer to being emerald silver has not worked. I have been left with 15 emerald silver and have caught all of the bottles. My inventory was quite full when completing this (to the point that at one spot I had to drop an item to keep the bottle) so I was haphazardly catching 1 or 2 and transforming as I went so that they grouped together as emerald silver. Upon finishing finding and fishing all locations I only have 15 emerald green pieces. I have used an online map and revisited all spots many times. Fully closed out of the game and gone back in etc. and no luck. Is there anything that can be done?

I tried placing a table with some items in my kitchen, it wouldn't stay in the spot I put it (kept shifting to the left) so I saved and closed the game. When I came back into the game, the table and the items were gone from the room. I check my furniture inventory and all the items were gone from there.

Mac ; I was decorating for this weeks DreamSnap and exited furniture mode, my cappuccino machine (that I just placed) vanished from my counter, and disappeared from the room completely. Checked my inventory, no longer in there… I had to go and reorder one through Scrooge’s catalog in order to get it

Issue: I fished out 16 bottles but I somehow ended up with only 15/16 Emerald Slivers. Bottles are gone from all locations. have repeatedly checked.

Gameloft support needs to read tickets before just sending an auto-response. I should not have to send back multiple replies to get help due to auto-responses that do not give help on the actual problem the ticket was created for. Sending me an auto-response that tells me how to find the emerald bottles and tells me how to fish and tells me how many bottles I need and where to find the bottles does not fix my problem or answer my questions. If I sent in a screenshot of 15/16 emerald slivers, then I clearly already know how to fish and where to find the emerald bottles. I can not complete the quest because the bottles do not respawn once fished up. I have already fished up all 16 locations.

I took different items out of chests to give as gifts, and when i took a flower out of a second chest, the tuna i had just taken out of a previous chest was gone. Can only assume i'ts the "Eating glitch" PLEASE FIX.
