My character randomly eats things while transferring stuff around the inventories. I have no idea what is getting eaten. But random items do disappear, I know I put a shrimp in my chest, then I opened it again later and it was gone. Also I had a furniture bag that opened even though my mouse was nowhere near it while moving things. (Seems this bug only happens when using right click to quick transfer, but I'm not 100% certain)

Also, the player icon on the map is just a white circle

Ps5. Menus are nearly unusable. I can’t use Touch of Magic. Whenever I equip clothing on my character, the menu freezes and I have to close the menu and reopen to equip more clothing items.

I opened the game and immediately was super buggy and screen was flashing. It took 32 blue easter eggs from my inventory. They're gone. Don't know if anything else was missing, didn't wanna lose anything else. :/

Issue: if all the slots of a chest are full, but not at Max capacity (I had 37 pumpkins in my last slot), the player cannot add any more to said slot. Both manually and using smart add.

As a work around, moving the item out of the chest to my inventory allowed me to then re-add the pumpkins (now at 50 capacity) into the last slot.

Platform: Switch Issue: I’m trying to do Vanellope’s level 7 friendship quest where I make boba for boss battles. I went to talk to Ursula and she declined to battle me and Vanellope acted like we did, no exchanging of boba tea. Then she asked me to find the sword in the Forest of Valor for my final battle, despite mentioning I’d have to do three battles. I found the sword and it still says I haven’t found it. I restarted the game and nothing changed.

Whenever I right click to put food or flowers in storage or inventory, my character eats it. I get the sound effect of eating and the amount drops. Not sure if it does anything to the energy bar.

Issue: I cannot rotate camera or zoom in/out in photo mode. It SAYS I should be able rotate my camera with the right stick in some modes, as well as move the camera with the L2 + left stick and zoom with R2 + right stick in another mode……but none of those work, doesn’t matter which mode. Just absolutely can’t rotate the camera at all. This will make participating in dreamsnaps almost impossible.

This is a weird one, but when using the Collection menu, it doesn't allow me to scroll through neither clothing nor furniture sets. Now this doesn't interact negatively with the game experience as much, but I was being a completionist and noticed it, and thought I'd report. It doesn't let me scroll past the first object on either page. If it helps, I have a great deal of both item sets-- 849 clothing and 907 furniture-- so it could be some sort of lag from the amount. I've done a few experiments and it is always the same.

EDIT: Now includes every other info page. The infection is spreading 😭

Issue: When right-clicking on mouse to transfer items into storage, my character will randomly eat 1 of the item I am trying to transfer. Doesn't matter if it's food or some other item (i.e. I tested it with a bunch of flowers, and my character "ate" a flower every 3 or 4 times I would click to transfer the flowers in and out of the storage chest).

EDIT TO ADD: Now when I right-click to transfer, my character will also sometimes do the "learning a new recipe" emote (i.e. trying to transfer night shards into my storage, and they won't transfer unless I click it like normal and choose "transfer" option).

Still get the 201 Error. When I close and resart the game, it overwrites the local save with an old cloud save. I have replaced it with my backup save, but it will overwrite again after giving the 201 error.

Issue: almost every time I decorate for more than like 30 seconds the game will glitch when saving/exiting decorating mode and I lose what I was working on. This time it even rearranged a bunch of things as it tried to save which you can see one item moving in this video. So disheartening it makes me not want to decorate ☹️

Thankfully I was able to get back into the game after the 201 error yesterday and today but I’ve now noticed a whole room and its items are gone. This is the second time this has happened to me. I save as often as I can. I guess I can repurchase most of those items from Scrooge after grinding but friendship quest items (like Scar’s stove) are completely gone.

I just starting having this exact same issue. When I right click items to transfer my character eats random items. At first I thought it was just cause I was clicking on meals to put in my chest until I needed them because she was eating the meals I was clicking on. But then I started transferring flowers to a different chest I a different room in my house and she started eating my dream fruit that was in my bag.

Issue: When using the map to fast travel, sometimes the pop up stays displayed after traveling and you can’t close out of it. You can travel to all the spots but the pop up won’t go away. The only way to fix it is to restart the game.

I’m not sure if this is the right category to place this issue in so let me know if there’s a different place I should put this.

In the wardrobe once you choose a clothing item you cannot change it or choose another item unless you close out of the entire wardrobe and reopen it. It will go back to the menu that shows all the clothing icons but won't highlight or let you choose anything when you move the directional. The furniture part works fine but the clothing part is messed up since the update.

PC/Steam: Vanellope judging me because I got stuck in a walk cycle while trying to exit fairy godmother’s home 😂.

Those eyes darting to my feet and back killed me.

But anyway, I was trying to walk out at the same time as fairy godmother left after I accepted a mission (starting ‘fire alarm’)

When right-clicking on items to transfer from backpack to storage box, it either consumes the stacks (in this case, Gems) or consumes food items from a different square.

I feel like I’m going crazy, like I was the only one still having the problem. I think I’m just upset because when I contacted customer care they said “ we already fixed the problem” and to “just restart the game again” . I’m sorry it’s happening to you but I’m grateful I’m not alone.

Issue: Moving things into storage boxes. Went to move a couple of quest food items, and instead of moving them into the box, my character freaking ate them! This was not an issue before until latest patch.

Update: Apparently, my character is very hungry. While moving items from inventory to chests, and vice versa, will display the eating animation even on items that are not food, such as stacks of stone, wood, etcetera

Issue: I see that many people have reported the quick transfer storage issues where things are getting consumed when you right click transfer, but I also ran into another issue regarding this bug. I have a random recipe book in my inventory, and instead of eating it, my character does the read animation. The book doesn't disappear, and when I leave my storages/inventory, my character is then completely frozen. This only happens with the book, and the only fix so far has been relogging.

UPDATE: I got back on and the book that was causing me issues is no longer in my inventory, and that specific soft-lock hasn't come up again. However, now I am having issues with manually transferring items into my storages. When I left-click and hit the transfer button, nothing happens, and when I try to drag the item into the storage, it is shot back into my inventory. (A relog seemed to fix this issue for the time being, but it did mix the items up between chests and I had to reorganize.)

Issue: When I am busy doing stuff like harvesting, planting, fishing, mining etc my avatar will just freeze. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for a minute or more. Sometimes she won't unfreeze so I have to restart the game. Also when transferring items from a chest to inventory my avatar starts eating.

BUT, I automatically eat higher value food, so my gold bar is CONSTANTLY full. I am still able to use left click functionality. Annoying, because right click is a better short cut.

Whenever I move stuff in my inventory to organize it, or to put stuff in chests, my character will randomly eat things that are edible. (Fruit/Veggies, Foraging items, cooked food, you name it) and I didn't even click eat. Another thing is when I move stuff around in my inventory the items would flash. It didn't do that before.

When I right click to move stuff into my chest, it moves the items to the chest, however no matter what the item is my character always makes an eating sound, even it it's rocks. However when I right click to move things like fish or fruit to a chest, my character also ends up consuming one of the item I am moving. There are also times where I right click on certain items in my inventory to consume and refill my energy, and instead the first item in my backpack gets eaten because this is the one highlighted, even if my mouse isn't on it. This has been happening the last three-four days and I've never had this problem before.

Platform Steam/PC. Issue: I have a similar issue. In my case, I moved two slots of green passion lilys from a chest on the right to my inventory on the left. Then I move one back from the now blank spot to the right of the one with 50 green passion lilys in inventory. That caused me to eat a carrot one row up and one slot to the right in my inventory (see the picture). Not every right click move causes the eating feature. But I have done it two rows down and had it eat one item from two rows up and two slots to the right. It is weird and somewhat unpredictable. What I hate most is when I eat a peanut which I keep for squirrels because I have to buy those from Remy.

Issue: The mailbox letter that notifies me that the (Centennial Star Path is Ending Soon) won’t stay in a read state. Every time I boot up the game my mailbox says I have new mail, but it’s really just asking me to reopen that letter again. I have opened it over 20 times and saved my game right after opening it, but nothing is keeping it from telling me that the Centennial Star Path is Ending Soon over and over again 😮‍💨 You can see in these screenshots that I removed the notification and immediately saved my game, but the last photo shows the day after and that the letter was still “unopened”

I won’t be able to hang out with her if I don’t know what time she will wake up because it’s only 7:32 pm EST(my time) and on the map it shows Zzz where Nala is and if I hover over Pride Rock it just says: Do not Disturb! Nala is sleeping. Come back later! So I don’t know when she will wake up because I really need to level her up to level 10 but if she is sleeping I don’t know what to do until she wakes up!

As much as like magic tricks, I don't like that every time I put down furniture in a room (whether it's new furniture or furniture that I've had for a while) it disappears as soon as I exit the furniture menu! Now it doesn't disappear from my inventory, thank goodness, but no matter what I do for some rooms the furniture just disappears! And if I put something on top of a table, like a light or plate, they end up on the floor no matter how many times I put them back!

Not exactly sure if this is a bug.

If you’re (in my case) inventory is full and mother Gothel is giving you the Magic Sap, the game will freeze for a bit and then return to normal.

I went afk for around half an hour or maybe a bit less, and when I came back, I was here in the frosted heights floating. Issue: When trying to eat something like a meal it'll make me eat something else - like fruit or seaweed etc.
When trying to use T to transfer items to storage it'll make me eat something random from my inventory or use one of my potions. Doesn't happen if I move things individually.
Bookcase in house is backwards. Unable to edit it to rotate/move/remove.
When adding items into a additional home they won't stay in the final position I placed them and will revert to the first spot they came out of inventory to.

After picking up the orb and getting the cutscene, im stuck? I watched some gameplay from a youtuber and The Forgotton should be standing next to the pedestal to talk too, but they just aren't? I exited the game over and over again, waited a day, redownloaded the game and nothing seems to be able to fix this. I looked all over the valley for maybe something that could work but nothing. I dont have the orb in my inventory either to place into the right statue thing aswell.. so im just stuck.

Issue: Eating food when putting items into my chests
I don't know if this is the appropriate place to put what's happening in my game, but when I put things into my chests my character consistently eats something from my bag--I've lost loads of pumpkins from it, as well as 5 star meals that I bring along with me to eat when my yellow bar runs low. I am absolutely not clicking on the food; when I go to the chests I use the smart transfer option. I hit "T", my stuff goes in the chest, and I automatically eat.

📍. Just to let you know... The scrolling issue is back. When you're in the store or when you're in the furniture mode.... After you choose an item... It goes all the way back to the top. Then you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were again. It was fixed in the last update. I hope it gets fixed again. ❤️

It's extremely frustrating on the PS5 because there's no down to the bottom button. If you've been playing for 11 months daily, your inventory is full and it takes a whole minute minimum to get to your next item. 😭

Issue: If the gap between a chair and an item is just barely big enough to stand in and you click the sit prompt, you get stuck. The only thing you can do is move the camera, activate the hover ability, and press the home/screenshot buttons. You are stuck in this state unless you are able to activate a different prompt such as the Pet critter prompt. If you pet your critter when stuck like this you are able to break free otherwise you are forever stuck there.

Issue : So there you have it, the thing is, I wanted to reorganize my resources and have more room in my chests, but I didn't want to craft them because they consume Dreamlight. I had the idea of going to Scrooge to buy a chest that I had already bought from him, and which currently is in the valley with, of course, resources inside. I bought this new chest, identical to the first one. I placed it in my valley next to its twin. When I opened it I realized that it already contained resources. To my surprise, it was exactly the same resources as in the other and in the same quantities. I found it weird but I left it aside. So I emptied the chest I had just bought to put new resources in it, then I went back to the first chest. I then noticed that the first chest was now filled with the new resources that I had placed in the second. Is this a bug or does it work that way for everyone ?

All light and dark chest do this from Scrooge do this. It is very helpful to me when gathering, if inventory is full I just put one down empty my inventory and remove it again. Everything is then in my house for sorting later.

Issue: This is the second Time this has happened, I had to force close the game because it completely froze, and when closing the software it froze my whole switch. When closing the game my Switch gets stuck on this closing screen, it does not finish closing the game, the wheel doesn’t spin, and none of the buttons on my controller or the switch itself work when it’s like this. The only thing that fixed it the first time was taking my Switch off the Dock and waiting for the battery to die. In this state I can’t even turn my Switch off. The first time it happened (I don’t remember all the details) I was simply picking my Pumpkins and it froze mid harvest. This second time I was fishing in a thunderstorm with Moana (Fisher Role), using the miracle fishing rod potion and it froze mid cast on Dazzle Beach by the Wooden Stairwell. After letting my switch die and reboot, my Game was fine, but this is definitely still a big problem. Also it’s not my Switch since it’s never done this before or with any other games. I would appreciate this getting looked at and fixed in game, please and thank you. If it happens again I’ll post what I was doing when it happened that time, to help figure out the cause.

A little update, I left my Switch alone for a few hours and it didn’t power down but the screen did say “The software was closed because an error occurred.” I was then able to click “OK” and my Switch and Game was working again. I don’t know exactly how long it took for this to happen.

Issue: Audio bug with arcade machines has the music persisting well beyond the room you were in with the machine. I have an arcade room set up inside of my home as a result of the Dreamsnaps tutorial, and whenever I enter, the 8bit music starts but just never stops— even when I leave my home or the general area. It does, however, reset when I restart my game.

Issue: My gamr is dark during Day time and light during night time. I checked my switches time and region and it is correct.

Currently, it is 2:56 p.m. and the region is the Americas, but it is acting as though it is midnight.

Side note: i used to live in Japan and the time was fixed back to U.S. time when I moved. I waited the appropriate 24 hours to allow the game to "catch up" with time. I can harvest, plant, etc. With no problem. The only issue is the daylight and sleeping times.

Platform: Switch Issue every time it rains it causes me lag and it seems like it rains way more often in the game than it used to and it really ruins my experience, also when it rains I can't go into decorating mode and try to leave it without it getting stuck on the loading screen and the screen flashing white. I literally sat in my house to avoid the rain and when I left it was only gone for like 5 minutes then it's raining again and I lost all of my decorating progress. I honestly wish the rain didn't exist at all cause frankly I hate it.

Issue: Excessive freezing since the last update. Usually happens whenever I'm viewing my inventory, or when my inventory is open when selling to Goofy. It's happening pretty frequently, if I'm playing for an hour it will probably happen at least 2-3 times. Sometimes happens when gardening too, but inventory seems to be the main culprit.

Issue?: I don’t know it this is a bug or a feature, but this item (Red Drapery) is unable to be viewed on the item wall panel on the floor level in game. The item is only able to be seen, on item wall display, when standing on the 2nd level. The preview when going to buy it still works but it was disorienting when first encountering the item wall display, also you aren’t able to see its proportions when you first approach it on the item display wall.

Details:
I noticed that when you are decorating outside, when you put two of the same item, it only counts the item once. But when you decorate inside, (like your house) it counts all of them. I don’t know if this is a bug, but it bothers me, especially since I like to decorate outside more and its harder to meet the requirements that way.

Issue: ToM tops change the skirt color of the ALL skirts, but not shorts/pants.
EDIT: this glitch stops when you exit out of wardrobe mode and resorts back to the OG coloring

Issue: Camera does not take photos when outside of the Forgotten castle. Once you click the “take photo” button, the entire camera features freeze up and you can’t do anything but back out entirely from the camera.

Issue: My character isnt walking or gliding normal, its almost like it gets stuck and glitches and goes really slow. The last few days its been really really bad for doing it. Like ill walk and it slows almost to a stop like something is pulling my character back or in the way

Same for me, and these slowdowns are probably also the cause of another problem : When mining or gathering, the game slows down and takes several seconds to react... Here, in the photo, it's completely frozen... I had to restart...

Issue: Furniture mode keeps glitching/flashing when you save/exit, or replacing items I’ve removed, and duplicating them.
Details:
My game does not like when I place too many items at once, especially if its too many of that same item. (example, trees, rocks, etc) and when I go to save my game, it will spin like its loading then flash like CRAZY. I have to force close my game in order for it to stop. When I open back my game, items re-appear that I deleted ages ago. Even if I saved it several times beforehand. I’m starting to dislike decorating. As I’ve had this bug for months and its not been fixed. Its been like this since the Scar update, and hasn’t been delt with since.

Issue: Wall-E’s paid quest line

Ever since the quest line came out to buy Wall-E’s extra quests I am stuck on them.

The part of the quest where you are supposed to place things out on the beach to set up a date for Mickey and Minnie.
I mean I can’t get the quest to update and see that I have put out the furniture it wants. I have bought and crafted and put out all versions of furniture that Wall-E accepts for his quest. I have even cleared out the whole beach and just put out these things the quest needs. But nothing works.
I mean I am very disappointed that a quest line you pay for do not work but everything more disappointed that it has not been fixed yet.

Hoping for it to be fixed in the next update 🙏

Issue: While attempting to mine a resource node, keyboard input becomes disabled. I can pan around with the mouse, but movement is not possible with WASD, nor are any other keyboard inputs recognized. It also doesn't allow me to mine the node with mouse click. This doesn't happen often, but at least the 2nd time this has occurred to me, forcing me to kill the game and restart.

Issue: In Frosted Heights, you can place pathing approximately one spot away from the rocks on all of them except the third one from the left. It acts as if something is blocking that portion but nothing is there. You can place flowers and other objects in the empty spots though, it's only the pathing that wont fit

Platform: Nintendo Switch Lite.
Issue: As I understood playing the video game, we must do missions to unlock other maps. In my case, I have not unlocked the part of the Icy Summits. Anyway, seeing the new path between the Icy Peaks and the Forest of Bravery, I tried to pass through the ice and it seems that the collider is not big enough since my character passes through it. When my character is in the Icy Peaks, collecting items doesn't work as it looks like because I haven't done the mission, as usual. The objects recollected dissapears.
I tried to record in the best way what happens but I could not record the collection of objects because I was missing a hand.

Issue: The character (Fairy Godmother) doesn’t always follow me. I have to talk again to them and ask to stop following me. And then ask again to follow me for it to work. (I’m not sure if it also happened with another character)

So I'm not much of a house decorator, barely go in them. I prefer the outside esthetics but, I've been getting into dream snaps lately. This week is a kitchen theme and I can not for the life of me get the camera to rotate while taking a picture inside! I've restarted my game several times. Try again tomorrow I guess 😅

Issue: I had just placed a house and started walking, my character suddenly started T-posing? I tried entering, see if that would fix my character. I tried using my tool randomly and then lost all function to move my character, click on anything, or open my menus/exit the game.

Issue: Harvesting a 'Golden' Crop reset my quest count for The Great Gathering. When trying to harvest the carrots I ran into a golden crop and proceeded to watch my counter go from 4/9 to 0/9, even after I picked up the other carrots it did not count

Issue: Fast travel wishing wells are suddenly not visible on the map. Filters were not toggled. Toggling the filters does not work to make the wells appear again. Traveling through the pop up menu still works however.

Can’t add rooms or floors to my house even though it’s fully upgraded. There is no option for me to add floors, these pictures are of the first floor of the house and the rooms show as locked and say I need to upgrade my house when clicked on, house is fully upgraded

Issue: House vs Cottage
Screenshot/Video: My "main" house skin is currently the purple cottage. Everytime I change it back to the OG skin, I cannot place a purple cottage in my village without it disappearing, then it doesnt even show in my inventory after it disppears. The cottage won't function on its own like other house skins.

The character is bugging, while I'm running or sliding. When the area changing, from one area in another, or from the area where Olafs cave is, to the plaza with the bridge and big stairs in frosty heights. The character is bugging/lagging for 2 seconds (stuttering, then moving forward). Same, when I run/slide a curve sometimes.

and in the menu, where to build something, in the house or in the world, it is SUPER SLOW! It's lagging/stuttering like in slow motion, very annoying. Not able to build anything in the world, with that issue, when I'm not wanting to go crazy!

Don't know if this one is the right thread, please tell me, so I can post it properly, haven't found anything for this issue.
