You’ve seen all those adorable critters running around your Valley, right? And you’d just love to have one as a pet? Well good news, you absolutely can, with a little bit of work. This guide will walk you through all the tips and the how-to’s and the relative how-long’s for getting them to be your companion.
Squirrels (Plaza): walk right up to them. They love peanuts, but will also accept apples and raspberries
Rabbits (Meadow): Play tag! They love carrots and like lettuce.
Turtles (Dazzle Beach): Patience - they hide in their shell, just wait. They love seaweed and like seashells
Raccoons (Forest): Red light/Green light - walk when they sit, stop when they stand. They love blueberries and like other berries
Foxes (Frosted Heights): Play Tag! They love White Sturgeon and like salmon (will give you iron bars for salmon!)
Crocodiles (Glade): Red Light/Green Light. They love lobster and like squid.
Sunbirds (Sunlit): Walk right up to them. Each bird likes a different flower based on their color
Ravens (Forgotten): Patience - let them circle you. They love any 5 star meal, like 4 and 3 star (will give gold ingot for 3 star)
Each type of critter has several different colors. Each different color of critter has a different schedule. You can find the schedule on the absolutely adorable critter graphics below; or, if a visual representation of the schedule is easier, at #theresaguideforthat.
“This info is great and all,” says you, “but HOW DO I MAKE THEM MY PET?! I really want those cute critters to follow me and let me take their pictures. Let me live my best Snow White life!” Well, that’s both easy and hard. Just feed each color of each critter a single time each day that they are available and eventually they will unlock. You’ll know if you fed that one already because there will be a little green check mark in the bottom. Below you will find a graphic that shows you the minimum number of days/times they need to be fed, per GL Support, in order to unlock. Each regular critter shows up three days per week, plus a 12 hour shift on Sundays. Rare critters only show up once a week.
