Twitch drops have been announced and you’re left wondering what those are and how you get in on the goods. Well have no fear, this guide is here to tell you how to do it all!
What are they? Twitch drops are goodies that you get for watching a specific set of twitch streamers - ones approved for the event by GameLoft. Please make sure that the ones you are wanting to watch are on the list and don’t just say they have drops enabled - there’s bad streamers out there who just want the views. We will post the list of streamers for the event in a comment below so you can see them!
First: You need to link your twitch account and your game loft account. If you play on multiple platforms, just link to the platform (such as steam, nintendo, etc) All of this will be in some images below but for those who do better with words or use screen readers, we will type it out here as well.
Step 1: Go to disneydreamlightvalley.com/twitch-drops
Step 2: Log in to your twitch account and authorize DDLV to link to your account
Step 3: Once your twitch account is successfully synced, you need to log in to your DDLV Cloud Save account.
Step 4: __Click Link Accounts- once your accounts are successfully linked, the LINK ACCOUNTS button will change to say UNLINK ACCOUNTS - this is how you know they are successfully linked and you’re all set. __
Second: Watch those streamers! Put the sound on low, if you don't want to listen - don't mute the streamers. Check the #game-news announcement for details on how long you will need to watch and the dates that things are available (although that information will also be included in a separate comment down below). As soon as you earn a reward, claim it so that your time will count for the next one if needed.
Third: But HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY GET THE ITEMS, you ask? That’s the easy part. Log in to DDLV and check your mailbox! Now, sometimes it’s a little slow because there’s just so many amazing community members who want to participate, so give it a few hours.
But my drops didn’t appear!

Scan the QR code inside your in-game mailbox. It will take you to the accounts linking page. (Don't just go to the page, scan the code to get there.)

Once on the page, make sure you are logged in to the correct Twitch account. Then log in to your DDV account. If you logged in originally with your platform account, try instead logging in with the cloud account.

Make absolutely sure you click the big yellow button that says "link". Once your accounts are linked, the big yellow button will instead say "Unlink Accounts".

Go to your twitch inventory and make sure you actually clicked claim on the items that you earned. You HAVE to claim them before they will send.

Reload the game, and then check your in-game mail for the items. Actually open your mail and check, as the new mail indicator has not been working for drops.

If the above steps did not work, try again on a different browser, or mobile device instead, unlinking your accounts and then relinking them.
