Issue: I’m trying to cook the bug dish for the lion king quest for Simba and it won’t let me. I’ve tried restarting my game and tried 3 stoves in the valley. What can I do ?

Issue: I don't know if this is necessary cooking related? But I did all the steps for the golden and red potatoes before I restarted my game and now I can't claim the golden potato again or get the red potato in Remys house? Is that a fixable problem or should I submit a ticket?

I am trying to do the red potato secret quest and i cant cook those ingredients, but the rest of the recipes i can cook.

Issue: I wanted to cook, but I couldn't because the cook button did not work, so I got out of it and this happened (picture).

Can't cook the bug meal, it doesn't recognize that I have coal available. But I'm able to cook other things, just not the bug meal

Issues - trying to make dream fizz and end up with marvellous jam

• tried to make ghostly fish steak and got lioness feast (again!) and now I have no here and there fish left to complete the collection

Platform: switch issue:Ever since the new update there have been two bad glitches in my game. The first one- The A button randomly stops working. This seems to be often triggered after cooking a meal. After I cook one meal, I am unable to cook any additional meals as the A button stops working. I have to restart the game to cook a meal. I am only able to cook one meal after I restart and then I need to restart the game again for the A button to start working again. The A button also stops working when trying to speak to villagers including giving them items and trying to initiate daily chats, as well as when trying to move items into storage. I am still able to forage with the A button, however cannot cook, move items to storage or interact with villagers. The second glitch- the menu randomly pops up without me clicking on it to do so. This glitch usually happens at the start when I first start playing and the menu will continuously pop up without me wanting it to for about 5-10 minutes and then stops, thankfully. If there is anyway to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it as It has severely made it difficult to play my game. Thank you so much for your help!

Issue: Cooking is unreliable, have all the ingredients to make a certain recipe and then another recipe with a few similar ingredients is made instead. IE, trying to make Vegetarian Stew comes out as Veggie soup

Issue: there's no way of making Grilled Veggies as the recipe for Grilled Veggies just comes out as Crudites, Crudites still come out as Crudites though.

Issue: I cannot cook the bug meal for Nala. Despite having all the bugs in my inventory, the game only acknowledges that I have the colorful bug. Thus, I cannot add any other types of bugs into my pot. I’ve tried splitting the bugs in my inventory, restarting the game, and using different pots but no luck

Dreamlight Fizz is currently bugged. We anticipate that this won’t be fixed until a hotfix release or next update.

Issue: I'm not sure if this is necessarily a 'bug', but did theu rework cooking so that the ingredients are added very slowly when you press the 'add' button to make a recipe? It takes my game a good 30+ seconds to get all the ingredients even if it's only 3. If you accidentally press the + (to cook) before all the ingredients are added it will make whatever recipe uses the ingredients It's put in so far. Makes it hard if you're trying to cook multiple of something as I have to sit there so long waiting for it to add the ingredients.
(Sorry if this has already been addressed elsewhere!)

Any meals using the Dreamlight Fruit or Here and Now Fish are not working. When cooking it gives me a completely different meal

Tried to make Dreamlight Fizz and it fave me Marvellous Jam, then tried to make the ghostly fish meal and it gave me savoury fish

Issue: 10% of all of the food I make turn into something different. I wanted to make a cake I added the ingredients using - clicked the plus button to bake and ended up making crackers even tho the game noted that I used the last egg in my inventory. The second time I tried the eggs were back in my inventory and the cake cooked when I pressed +

Issue: Unable to make new meals or just add ingredients. It rolls away like I don't have coal maybe? I have a large chest full so not an issue. I can't do any new quests that require cooking bc I can only autofill a recipe I already have.

Issue: Ghostly fish has a quest symbol next to it after I caught it, even though I’ve finished that quest and I cannot cook with or discard it

Whenever I try to make the dream fizz, it'll use all four of my ingredients, but will only give me the marvelous jam. I have tried multiple times, restarted the game, etc etc...but sadly it won't use those ingredients to make the jam.

Issue: I can't cook anything. When I put in any ingredient at all, it appears in mid-air and falls next to the pot then falls down off the stove and disappears with a poof. It gets added back to my inventory. I tried on two different days in Remy's Realm and two different stovetops in the valley but the same results. It doesn't seem to matter which ingredients I am using either. I do not see an entry on the Trello board that shows that the dev team for Dreamlight Valley are aware of this. I contacted Gameloft about this issue but I haven't heard back yet.
