I'm a bit upset, I went to buy three items in the shop. Eric's boat house, the two headband sets, and the wardrobe set thingy. My switch had crashed before I could save and now they are not showing as owned or even in my inventory. Plus it's still showing the same amount of moonstone I had to buy my items with. I've sent in a ticket but I don't know what else to do 😭😭And I go and buy them again and it says not enough currency to buy. I went over to my save cloud on my mac same thing they are not showing in my inventory at all

Game crashed opening menu... Again. Was opening menu to change into space ranger costume as part of the "A Space Ranger Recruit" quest. Crashes are getting more and more frequent. Happens most often when raining and/or during gardening when picking up a memory or opening the menu

For a long while, my switch stopped crashing. The other day, it started again. I don’t have a screenshot, but it’s “the software closed because there was an error”. It happens at random times, but usually when I’m walking around or doing something. Can’t remember a time it did it when I was just standing there.

I got the update. But all I see is starpath. No simba and Nala realm in my world at all. I got both updates that way. By pushing plus and updating that way because it didn’t auto update for me. There is no realm.

I've had a LOT of crashes on the switch after the update (granted, I haven't been playing since update 3, so idk what's been a persistent issue lately, but..).. I even restarted my switch to make sure the cache etc wouldn't cause any issues. But.. the map glitch/crash we had last year is back, y'know where the screen would freeze on the map screen (the map sometimes disappears too) but the sound from the game is still running (music keeps running, you can hear characters moving/talking in the background etc). This issue has returned in my game on several occasions today. Also looks like the issues we had in the past with autosaves etc has returned.. more than once I've had increasing lag in my game, and I go to manually save my game.. only to find it hasn't been saving the last 10-15 minutes of game time. Sometimes I'm able to save before the game crashes, other times I'm not..
My switch also doesn't seem to like the new hovering/sprinting thing.. it will cause my game to crash fairly often.
Just encountered a new and strange crash right now - I was trying to do Simba's first quest and was placing some things in the Meadow, and something went very wrong when I tried to exit furniture mode. It looked normal at first, the saving icon you get when you exit furniture mode started spinning etc.. but now the icon has been spinning for 10 minutes and the entire screen has been flashing (difficult to explain, but kind of like how the screen is flashing when there's lightning in game?). Gonna have to force my switch to close the game again, but it seems to me that the game is pretty unplayable on the switch right now..

Mine has done this a couple times today, I will open the map and it will be completely blank and not allow me to switch to another screen. I can still hear the background music and can move my cursor but otherwise it’s frozen. The only way out of it that I’ve found is to close out the game and hope it auto saved recently 🤷🏼‍♀️

*Edit: because the Map does not work well. The wells don't work at the moment. Characters are missing once in a while. The map itself is super glitchy. Cannot click on some Characters too go and follow a trail. Etc.

Started during last update would crash every couple of hours or hour or so. This update it has gotten even worse.

My game just crashed while entering Remy's house. I don't have a screenshot unfortunately but it just gave the black screen while saying the system crashed. But when I restarted the game again, now Remy is asleep even though he was awake before. Not sure if that's relevant.

ANOTHER ISSUE. I also believe I mentioned this issue during the last update. My game sometimes suddenly stops opening the menus for no reason at all. It won't react to the + or - button or down button, no buttons except to go through my tools. So I can't open my backpack or anything. Using touchscreen to go around this problem doesn't work either. The only solution I have found so far is quitting the game without knowing if it saved my progress or not. I've attached a video.
Please give more attention to the switch issues. It looks like the developers don't care about us Switch users. You pop out with these updates so fast and the switch continuously gets this crashing problem and Frame rate issues. PLEASE!!!! Give!! It!! Attention!!

I’ve experienced most crashes when I’m in the Furniture tab. Most occurrences happen when I go to feed a critter and they drop a memory orb, only for it to be coins. Then, those coins drop in unreachable spaces in my valley, which means I have to go into the Furniture tab, remove the obstructions, then go back into the game…only for the game to freeze and crash from there. I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to, but I wanted to address it nonetheless. 😕

Once while creating the custom backpack for the new event, once after completing Napa's quest to add more landscape furniture to Dazzle Beach. Can't remember the other one. I just had to manually close the game because the map fritzed out and wouldn't let me exit no matter how many times I hit the back button.

I'm not sure if this is part of the crashing, but my music also cuts in and out periodically like someone is hitting the mute button on and off constantly.

Ever since I’ve started this game it’s crashed every 1-3 hrs on switch and there’s been no sign that GL is planning to fix it, only that it’s a complicated issue and it would take a while to fix. It’s been months of this and it’s nearly unplayable. At this point I just login every once in a while to check Scrooge’s shop and quit out after 5 mins.

When everything is cramped into one big valley filled with separate biomes that do not have a loading screen, it really impacts the performance on a handheld console like the Switch. Some games like monster hunter rise are very optimized even on the switch and rarely ever crash, but for whatever reason this game seems to not be playable on the switch at all, like its optimization was never really considered or just put on the back burner since they can just work on more “general” issues.
I wouldn’t mind loading screens for each biome if it helps minimize crashing. Between rebooting the game and waiting for it to load, then click continue and then redo anything you lost when your game crashed, I’d rather take a 5 second loading screen than constant crashing.

Cannot decorate or rearrange without experiencing the saving logo stuck on a loop upon exiting to play my character. My game has been crashing more since the latest update. It has crashed just as I have completed event items, it has crashed while I have tried to open a storage box, while entering a building, for various reasons. It almost acts like a memory leak on a PC, because it RARELY crashes when I first open the game, it's always after I've been playing for a while. It will start to slow a little and be a tiny bit laggy, and then a crash follows, typically when trying to do something a little "extra", like opening a chest or going into a building or trying to open the menu. If I run around forever and do nothing, I'm not sure it would crash, or at least would last much longer between crashes

I can’t find the items anymore and can’t put them down and says the bushes can only be used for indoors when they’re for outdoors. It’s been a couple of days since the updates release, & you would think developers would take this thread into consideration, especially as there is over 100+ complaints voiced about crashing in just THIS UPDATE ALONE. Shame on the developers. Shame on Disney, who continues to advertise the game as functional (INCASE YOUR CURIOUS, you can barely do JACK on the switch without it crashing every 20 minutes) FIX YOUR GAME NOW THAT YOU’VE TAKEN OUR MONEY!! Should’ve seen this coming as just your casual, Disney “cash grab”…. DISGUSTING. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone, regardless of which device your playing on. The game crashes about every 20-30 minutes for me. This time I was just opening my inventory and it crashed.

How the crash occurred: the game crashes for me every so often if I'm playing for long sessions. There's no consistent trigger to the crashes. Crashes usually happen every 2-3 hrs of play, trigger from anything ie. Map, menu, inventory, doing an action.

At least 1 crash per 30 minutes, nothing particular triggers in each time but it can include: going into building, cooking, collecting flowers, decorating and placing furniture and exiting out after aprox 5 mins in the menu. Basically any function it will crash after 30mins of gameplay. Autosave saves at around 6-12 minutes and when i go to manually save, it crashes anyway. So most of that 30mins of game play is lost.

Another crash at 16:34... Will have to wait 55 minutes to post. Occurred after entering furniture mode to remove 2 block of path and exiting, run to Wall-E to give him his flower basket. Game froze on the "give" confirmation dialogue. Freezing on this dialogue while completing quests happens very frequently. Though to clarify, this is not a "true" freeze, rather the confirmation screen gets "stuck". You can move back and forth between cancel and give, but pressing A or B (or any button) doesn't do anything. Need to shut down game to get out of it. This was followed by a crash with error message at 16:57 EDT while entering the cavern on Dazzle Beach. Activity prior to crash included reloading game, fast travel to Dazzle Beach, visit Monana's fishing boat, picking flowers, mining nodes (2), fishing two bubble spots, picking fruit. Time that passed from restart was not even enough time for a single autosave to occur.

it's been 8 months since this game came out back in september. It has had 4 updates and a 5th one is on the way, apparently. The exact same issues everyone has been complaining about since September have never been addressed. I feel that the developers do not care about the switch users of their game. Look at the other "crashes on x" posts, as of typing this Crashes on PC - 51 comments, Crashes on X-box and Gamepass - 31, Crashes on Playstation - 33, heck even Steam Deck Issues only has 7 comments. Now, look at the Crashes on Switch - 510 COMMENTS. Come on, your most vocal players are having the most problems, but nothing is being done for them. The least you can do is give them either their money back or offer them the choice of getting a code for a free download on another system.

Seems to crash a lot when using the L/undo button in wardrobe mode, especially if I've been in that mode for more than a few minutes or if I have used the ToM custom tool. Sometimes when I reboot my wardrobe changes have been saved up to that point and sometimes not, incase that is helpful info.

What I’m doing to make it work: only decorate a tiny spot with not many things, leave the decorating mode, save the game, start the decorating mode again and do the other steps again and again. When I move a house, I’m leaving the decorating mode after that and safe the game. I know it’s annoying but I have this issue since ever and this is the only way to make it work for me :(

I think I'm in the right spot it's not really a crash more like no one is going to their stalls Goofy Moana and Kristoff are all on strike today refusing to let me sell/buy/collect anything. Can try over and over again I see their shadows or part of their body but still refuses to open even if they are my follower nope. I don’t remember it all, but it did say to make sure you don’t have an excessive amount of crops, and it said to make sure that the game is installed to the hard drive on your switch, not an sd card

I was getting crashes and hangs constantly on the switch version as well. I accidentally learned that if I take my switch offline, I have zero crashes. Obviously it’s not a fix - just a work-around, but so far for me I can play for hours at a time with no crashing. When I connect, I usually can’t make it more than about 45 minutes.

I moved Ursala's house from the beach to the glade. It is the only thing I moved. My valley has very little items in comparison to most players. Each time i go to close the furniture screen after it freezes.

Please take time to fix these issues before adding more and more content to the game. The freezing and crashing has gotten out of control for Switch. I can't enjoy the fun parts of the game because I can only move a few items in furniture mode before exiting and saving or my game crashes. Decorating with 5 items at a time is ridiculous.

I refreshed the game like 15 minutes ago! cause i already was in furniture mode before the refresh. Soo i cloud saved, left the game, turned it complete off and returned again. Now 15 minutes later, did not a lot too trigger a Error and Error occurred.
