PC/Steam: sometimes unable to select what seeds to plant. the selection highlight doesn't appear, using the d-pad doesn't move the selection, using the mouse doesn't activate a selection, neither gamepad A nor keyboard E start planting.
it seems to be the same bug as last major update, where up-facing triangles appeared over the lettuce, carrots, and wheat.
i've had to alt-f4 out of the game twice already today.

Issue : will plant a huge plot of all the same plants and some will randomly disappear. It will be 5 completely sporadically spaced plans out of 80 or something and they just disappear. When I try to replant there it makes a sound that it’s planted but plot stays empty. I have to close the game and reload to be able to actually have something show up as being planted in those spots. The spots change every time too.

I planted carrots and eggs yesterday and they still havent grown over 16 hours later. It has been raining the whole time.
Update: it finally stopped raining and everything finished growing.
Conclusion: crops wont finish if its raining.

I also added a buddy (Ariel) to help with gardening and the buddy did not move but was still presenting me with the double vegetables after a second. This is the third time that this has happened in the past two days. It resolved itself once, but it keeps happening.

Issue: I hit a lag spike while planting pumpkins. I'm not 100% sure how many I planted, but it was somewhere but between 350-400. The lag started near the end. I'd say about the last 20 pumpkins or so. My game didn't crash, but that might be because I stopped planting until the camera stabilized.
I'm not sure if the location makes any sort of difference, but I was on Dazzle Beach.

I have multiple seeds (in this case, all of them) in my inventory, and I'm trying to plant them in a particular order. Scrolling through the seeds looks fine at first, but if I select one, nothing happens. I can't exit out of the menu, or do any other action.
Animations still play, and characters still move around, but I can't move the camera. You can see Maui in the right order of the screenshot; he was dancing at my pain.
This bug is very consistent. I scroll left and right through the tiny menu for each seedling planted, and it always breaks the game on the 2nd seedling. Autosaves still work in this state.

I hit another lag spike when I was near my pumpkin patch while the pumpkins were becoming ready to be harvested.
Edit, harvesting the pumpkins, or even just being near them is also causing lag spikes

Since the last update, all the Passion Lilies in Frosted Heights are red. But when you pick them up, they are whatever color they are supposed to be if you look in your inventory.

Character will autoharvest or autoplant maybe 2 or 3 crops and then freezes for 5-10 seconds. Sometimes the game crashes, sometimes the character will do one more harvest. Sometimes if I press A again while autoharvesting, it will give me a new prompt to plant a seed (per normal) and that will unfreeze the character when they're stuck. This has been for several days.

When collecting farming with a farming buddy it seems that the bonus veggies had hrs delay. I farmed those items with buzz hrs ago and then hrs later the bonus veggies popped up and extremely far from the farming area.

Gets stuck on selecting a seed if you have different types in your inventory and 8+ maxed seed bags. It doesn't show the blue glow to choose and it doesnt allow you to choose or do anything else. Sometimes it rights itself, not always.

As many are posting, when harvesting I pick 2 then pause, pick 1 then pause, pick 2 then pause...etc. Same thing goes for planting. It seems this was a bug earlier in the game that has been reintroduced.

Issue: I noticed while harvesting that a couple of times the bonuses would launch across the map, quite a distance from where they were harvested.
I circled on the map how far they went from the my (marked) farm location. Basically to the clear other side of the zone. This doesn't seem intentional as you can see the piles of pumpkins near my farm, I would think these extra pumpkins would've just filled the next available space near those instead of going in random directions across the entire zone itself.

Issue: When holding down E or X to harvest multiple crops, the game takes a bit to catch up. Then I try to plan multiple seeds holding down same, and eventually the seed menu comes up, but no highlight shows and i can't select. This is how I know I am in a "bad state". So I end up finding some button that lets me exit out of the seed popup menu, and i am able to walk around, pick things up, etc. but i can't hit esc or any other Steamdeck buttons to get to a save game menu. I continue going around and open a dialogue with someone and the game just crahses basically stuck on me and the person lookin at each other with no way out or to continue. At this point, i have to completely close the game without saving or leaving the proper way, or shutting down the device.

Issue: The harvesting/planting feature of the game has been pretty much unusable during this update. Since day 1 of update 4 it has been extremely laggy and I can no longer auto hold, there is at least a few seconds gap between character movement of each individual harvest/plant.

Switch: Randomly when I’m gardening and I go to plant, it won’t let me select a crop to plant. And then I can’t exit out of the crop selection screen by clicking “B” sometimes if I click “x” it works, but other times it doesn’t. If it does work, I can go about the game, but still can’t plant crops. But sometimes I have to force close the game and restart it. This happens multiple times throughout the process of me gardening in different biomes.

Issue: when gardening with simba or woody and they have the gardening bonus, they are lagging on throwing out the extra vegetables or spices. They will stand in place frozen until shoved around enough or after a couple minutes, and then throw out all the bonus extras to grab

I encountered the same thing, also on Switch. I tried restarting the game, planted one or two things, and then wasn't able to select seeds again. So I tried to go put some in storage in my house, and the inventory screen wouldn't come up- not to put it in a box, not even to just drop them inside. When I restarted the game, I used that minute of time I had to dump some of my excess seeds I had just bought in the house, and then it let me plant normally.

Similar to what people said above me, whenever i try to pick up pumpkins in forgotten lands and I have a buddy with me, it is really slow. I would pick up a few pumpkins and my buddy would spawn them like normal but at a certain time, my buddy would stop spawning even after I picked up a bunch of pumpkins. I sometimes have to wait for 30 seconds or a minute or walk around and then they would spawn extra pumpkins. I just feel it's a slow delayed reaction. I don't think it matters which gardening buddy you use (I've used Mirabel, Woody, Merlin and Mickey) and they all mostly have the same delayed reaction.

Issue: 1- The automatic picking/gardening is way too slow, but also, 2- sometimes when I go planting it don't plant the seed, it acts as if it was going to but then the seed continues on my bag and the plot continues empty. 3- It also happens that when gardening the character get stuck, is not like the whole game freezes, just the character get stuck in place, I can't move it nor do anything else until it starts moving on its own again after a minute or so. Those are occurring regardless of my game graphic level and my PC is above the minimum requirements to play the game.
