Update warning for visual sensitivities!!
There's little butterflies that randomly are showing up and flitting about. I'm on switch and they're really glitchy and kinda flashing up right in front of the camera. IDK if other platforms are having this issue, but it's a possible seizure trigger. Not to mention switch already has graphics lags and this doesn't help

Hey, My passion lilies changed. I had one of each for easier storage labeling and they were right before the update, but now they are all red. Guess the little buggers want me to guess where to put things.

However, the ones in the chests are still the right colors of what it should be ( such as white/blue/green/black)

I genuinely don't know what caused this but i was cooking in Remy's one of the newer quests and realized this was happening to my body- and it has stayed. Hopefully won't stay on a restart.

Update!! restarting after a crash helped fix the graphical issue will keep an eye out if it happens again for any possible factors.

I don't have screen grabs, but I can see them everywhere. They are on the highest graphic layer, so I see them they buildings, trees, multiple biome walls, and even sometimes in the realms.

Oh, and then the attached is a WHOLE separate issue this seems maybe not by design? Moans Realm, same laughter.

Issue: Selected Resolution Scale still isn't sticking - has to be reset every time I go into or leave a building, even though the actual setting for it will still show that it's at the right level.
Screenshots: Not sure the best way to showcase this, but gonna try.

1. How clear things should look with Resolution Scale set to 2.

2. How things look after entering and exiting a building without resetting the Resolution Scale. (It looks like this with every screen reload, basically, but I was trying to capture the same screenshot as close as possible.)

At this point, going back into the settings will still show the Resolution Scale set to 2. However, it's clearly not, based upon the graphics - it might be hard to see, but if you flip back and forth between the two screenshots, the one should definitely look a lot sharper and clearer than the other.

To correct this, I have to put the Resolution Scale to 1 in the settings, exit the menu screen, go back in again, put the Resolution Scale back to 2, and then everything will show up properly once more.

TLDR; the Resolution Scale setting still needs looking at, as it's been like this for multiple updates now. It needs to be corrected to where it'll hold its value through each loading of a new screen.

Issue: I've had my Resolution Scale set to 2.0 since I started playing the game back in mid January and had no issues in the beginning for at least a few weeks. Sometime in February however, the visuals would look as if they are set to 1.0 even though when I go to my Graphics settings it says it is at 2.0 still. If I manually change it to 1.0 and then back to 2.0 the visual quality will be correct for 2.0 but if you go in or out of a building it will change back to looking like it is 1.0 even though it has not changed from 2.0 on the Graphics settings. It is really tiresome to have to keep fixing it each time I go into or leave a building. (yes it's still happening after the most recent update, saying this in case it wasn't apparent).

Not sure where to put this, but just wanted to make everyone aware of some flashing in the game that could be problematic for people with photosensitivity issues. I just placed the tea cup ride from the Star Path and the lighting causes the tea cups to glitch in and out in a flashing pattern until you get closer to the ride. If you're not right up on them then they keep glitching/flashing

I tried to change clothes to see if that helped and very briefly the texture changed to something very stretched and broken before it reverted back to this. Leaving Chez Remy fixed the issue.

The texture it briefly flashed to resembled something Buzz Lightyear themed, maybe one of the clothing items because I don't have him unlocked yet. Definitely not a skin texture though.

The Tiered Fountain is glitched on both Xbox and switch. The water spraying out of the flower at the very top of the fountain creates a T shape that is visible from anywhere on the map. You can see it through other structures and such.

Issue: First my game went entirely black screened when I exited Scrooge's shop, but I could still run around and interact with things if I found them wandering in the dark. Then when I brought the menus with the dreamlight tasks/quests/etc that cover the whole window, putting them back down I got this.
Reentering Scrooge's shop and exiting again fixed it. But...Still something I wanted to bring to someone's attention.
Edit - My game crashed shortly after 'fixing' my graphics.

The "locker counter" furniture has a 4 x 2 top but a 3 x 2 footprint allowing them to be placed too close together and causing z-clipping. Also, because of the 3 x 2 footprint it does not line up with other 4 x # furniture.

Issue: The Minimalistic Ceiling Lights are still missing their proper brass texture. I just bought these today in Scrooge's Store and remembered this. I believe this problem showed up in Update 3. The Rusted Trash Can and Rusted Bench are also missing their proper textures. The problem with the trash can and bench can be seen visiting Wall-E's house. The trash can and bench are now both a strange red color when they weren't before.

It would be great to know if these are intentional changes or if their texture files have just been accidentally removed. I don't think they were intentional though, since the thumbnails in the Collection menu reflect their original look.

This has probably already been reported multiple times on multiple platforms, but gonna add my own screenshot in & say it's happening to me too; Was so excited to change my outfit & wear this dress(Or any outfit really that exposes skin from the neck down) & well......Yikes. @_@

Le 11 avril 2023 Je rentre dans ma maison 🏠. Je passe la porte🚪 de ma maison et, aussitôt dans la pièce principale, un halo de lumière oval apparait et se met à clignoter sur tout l'écran sans jamais s'arrêter. Il ne part pas quand je change de pièce ou fais une action comme cuisiner. Cela s'arrêtera quand je sortirai de ma maison.

Cela s'est passé après avoir amélioré le bateau de Vaiana, la 1ère amélioration, et avoir donné l'étrange objet qui apparaît après la réparation à Vaiana. Je voulais déposer des objets dans mon coffre à la maison et c'est là où j'ai eu ce bug de lumière.

 Cela ne s'est jamais reproduit. 

C'est un bug spécifique mais pas reproductible.

This is not just distracting but it also bothering my eyesight. If it's just two bushes (like in the gif) it doesn't seem like much of a problem but placing a lot of bushes to decorate, the blinking is just awful.

The only way to get rid of it is to close out completely. Strobe is intense even with the flash strobe settings set for flash reduction. This could definitely cause a seizure.

The Kingdom of Corona set (currently available from the Item Shop) seems to have some scale issues... The spinning wheel is far too big compared to the character size, and the chair is somewhat smaller than I expected, since it looks like an armchair (though not as big of a deal as the spinning wheel). Please make the wheel size more realistic! Including a photo of what size that type of spinning wheel really is next to a person. Larger wheels exist, but this one just doesn't look usable (and I feel like it should). It also doesn't look like it has a functional treadle, but we can make some allowances for magic 🪄 😉

Issue: The trim on both wallpapers appears light gold on some walls, but in the same room will be a darker bronze color on other walls. If a window is placed on one of the walls with the darker trim, the trim will change to the lighter gold color (Which I am assuming is the "correct" color?) but only in the spot where the window is placed.
