Issue: Foraging buddies glitch
If you ask a foraging buddy to hangout, they follow you, if I then pick a fruit or spice, they will give a bonus. They are then frozen in the spot where they first gave you the bonus, they don't follow you around the biome. If you move to the next biome and collect fruit or a spice, a bonus item will appear on the ground but not highlighted blue and the buddy is still frozen in the same spot

Xbox X can’t sell items/transfer items and can’t pick up items. It appears to be random. Haven’t found a specific item, #of items and or location. When selling it says “not enough items? When transferring inventory it just doesn’t do it. No message. As for pick up item I was gifted red algae and it won’t pick it up no matter what I do. I even quit the game and went back still won’t.

Issue: Currently stuck on the Cheerful Chums Club quest. When taking the photo with the banner on the wall, the game crashed and we are unable to proceed with the quest. We can not take the banner off of the wall or initiate the photo again to move on with the quest.

Issue: trying to level simba to level 2 and it comes up with nothing to pick from. Usually it would pop up with either dialogue or something to give them, but there is no menu.

The Map is not working well. Characters are sometimes missing from the map. Cannot click on them too find them. Map is very glitchy all off a sudden (after update) and makes the game itself glitchy. Etc...

Issue: Not a huge issue, more just an annoyance. I’m having to double click items to select them to sell at Goofy’s stall. Example: To sell a stack of potatoes, I have to double click the stack before I can select how many I want to sell.

Placing fences and then backing out to save, glitches the fences in weird spots. When going to remove them, not only will they not go away everytime I try to delete them, it crashes my game as well. Further more, when closing the game to restart it also crashed my switch as well.

The ||relaxing oasis|| that Simba wants in the meadow is tagged as a Cinderella item. It's also odd that he wants it in the meadow, considering there are already ponds there & it looks like it belongs in Sunlit Plateau. It's also frustrating that the biome decorating quests don't recognize if you've already done the task before. Some of my biomes are almost completely decorated, so there's not much room for more items.

Issue: I harvested an Oregano that was close to the edge of the Plaza (also I have farming plots nearby) and it gave me the bonus timed Oregano but they spewed into the Meadow biome. I'm pretty sure that they're not supposed to fall into another biome (at least this is the first time this has ever happened to me).

I finally found it, it spawned under the dark smoke from the pillar on the island. You have to get your camera at just the right angle and be standing there right when the smoke shifts which is why I was missing it post-patch

Issue: A keyboard has two shift keys (one on the left, one on the right). In order to "sprint/glide" on a keyboard/pc, you need to press and hold shift. I tried numerous times with the right shift button and it does not work. Yet, just now when I capitalize letters, my right shift key is working properly.

I just tried using the left shift key just for fun, and that worked.

All of this is to say - is this just a ME issue, or is there a reason we cannot use the right shift key? There is also no indicator on the screen that says it needs to be the left shift key. More clarification would be so appreciated, as this frustrated me for the longest time yesterday haha.

Issue: with the last update bringing in Olaf, I got to to point where I would use my watering can on the snow pile in the cave for the note, it's been stuck. I used the watering can on the snow pile and I was able to walk past it to get the note, but the pile is still there. It won't even update to the next step for the story quest it keeps saying: "use your watering can on the sparkling water particles int he secret chamber." I was hoping the lasted update would fix it. How do I fix it and move forward?

I needed 2 more garlic, and normally after 20 minutes there would be at least 3 respawned, by an hour all of them, but this time there was only 1, so I wated more, and there was nothing. I had to exit the game and come back for all the garlic to appear again. Same with flowers in Frosted Hights

I’m sure these are both known but 1) every passion lily everywhere is red now, even outside of their natural biome. And 2) the sinister looking portal in that new cave in the frosted heights can be pushed. I pushed mine all the way to the exit. I don’t have a photo on hand but 3) the minimalistic ceiling light fixture is still gray instead of gold like it was before.

Issue: Map has reoccurring issue. First the select tool will disappear over wells or harvestable things. I can’t exit out of the map, but I can switch to a different tab after a few tries and exit that way. Any attempt to the map will have the map be blank, with only the crosshairs left. Game must be quit entirely at this point, as the game freezes everything but the cursor.

Issue: The Disney Dreamlight Valley discord is not working as intended. Disabled voices are STILL ignored and no accessibility requests are on the Trello board after months of begging. I've presented this issue in every single "contact us" type avenue I can think of. Why are we being ignored? Things like font sizes, text to speech, and optional toggles for lighting would benefit such a huge section of the fanbase, including non-disabled players. The seizure warning doesn't even stay up long enough to read. I am so sick of this.

Platform: PS4. Twice now I’ve had items disappear when something spawned instead of it spawning somewhere else. The first time was day of update when an alien spawned in the meadow where a large rock cluster had been and disappeared the rock. 2nd was today when a flower in the plaza deleted a bush by spawning by where the bush had been.

I had 40/60 showing on my "That's Not How Eggs Are Harvested" achievement. With a gardening companion, I sowed 12 Spring V-EGG-etable seeds. I harvested 12 Spring V-EGG-etables and received 12 more from my gardening companion.

My "That's Not How Eggs Are Harvested" now only shows 42/60. I should have been credited for at least 12, if not 24. Nobody's math is that bad. 😥

And it's not the first time. The time before I had 38/60, planted 6, harvested with a gardening companion and my number changed to 40/60. I allowed for a senior moment and that I may have been mistaken. But not this time! 😠

When a pop up comes (Memory, Handing an item over, restaurant etc) the game often freezes, needing to be force-exited and possibly losing some progress as you cant exit the pop up otherwise

I have had this issue since I got the game, I figured the team is aware but I dont see it on the known issues list & its still happening so I thought I might report it

Steam's screenshot button can be customized, so the DDLV method of screenshot doesn't actually work here.
It can't save a nice clean selfie to your PC for use in the Steam Community Screenshot Tab. Not sure whose problem that is to figure out, or if it's even purely on DDLV's side.

Platform: Switch Issue: MEMORIES no memories at falling with cooking, have made over 300 recipes and not a single memory fell, with all the cooking in the star path and not a single memory fell. The only memories falling are feeding critters and fishing and occasionally harvesting and gardening. As a completionist this is so frustrating, I hunt for dried flowers daily but then it rains and so no chance. Digging is frustrating because it seems you only get a memory of your lucky IF you use a potion. Please fix the memory drops.

Some strange error that traps me while sitting. Can't move or cancel out of the siting animation, sitting animation never completes.
Nothing to really interact with.

A raven approached me, and interacting with it enabled the Feeding interaction, where I was able to cancel out of the Sitting animation process.

Is Moana's Boat broken? No matter what I do/where I move it to, she's not interacting with it to give me the fish. She's right next to it but just stands there? I have various videos too. (Nintendo Switch) I've tried moving the boat around on the beach. Been like it a couple days now. I. just can't collect fish from her. I've moved the boat around 5 times to various locations across the beach. Restarting the game hasn't helped either.

i like that the chair can be placed up against things, so it looks like a natural part of a larger set.
um, but when i tried to sit on it, i couldn't sit, and i got locked up (couldn't walk, couldn't open inventory or the menu stuff. though i could still hit 'sprint,' it didn't get me anywhere.)

want to watch out for people getting stuck in furniture like this. hope you don't have to make the footprint bigger!

Issue: I'm reporting this for both me and my best friend because I have access to the discord and we both have had this issue. The in-game timers don't seem to line up properly when trying to grow specifically pumpkins (we both have had this issue, but them more frequently than me) and they still have not been able to get their dream fruit to complete. It's been weeks and they play almost every day, for hours at a time, and it's still not completing. We've both had it where the crops will keep requesting water like they should but they never actually seem to trigger the completion no matter how long we play or how often we water. So it just becomes an endless cycle of watering and waiting

Issue: I came back after about a month-long break around 2 weeks ago, right when Update 4 launched. There were several blue chests around (I didn't count). I know I grabbed multiple, maybe 3? in one day. Then, I got an error that says "you have claimed the maximum amount of rewards for today." The next day, there were 2 blue chests. I was able to loot one of them, but not the other. It has been about 2 weeks now, and I still can only ever grab 1 blue chest at a time. Trying to open the other one gives an error. I was assuming maybe that "count" would reset after a week or two, after a shop reset, etc., but I'm wondering if there's some issue with that and hoping that I am not stuck with an extra blue chest forever (as some sort of punishment for taking a break lol).

Issue: Game got stuck while trying to report back to Merlin for the “Secrets & Schemes” quest. It started by not being able to find Merlin on the map. Then when I tried to exit the map it froze and then the map completely disappeared. Had to completed shut down the game. Everything was fine when I restarted the game. Not being able to find characters on the map has been a reoccurring problem since Update 4 but this is the first time the map disappeared.

Time zone issues

Tried to do pictures, but my critters aren't resetting for feeding at midnight. Bought/downloaded the game on both consoles in mountain time, moved to eastern, but sunrises/sunsets seem two hours off in game at minimum, haven't checked residents but those are probably off as well. Had changed time on switch and xbox with no real glitches appearing I believe. Other then things happening in game being behind in time.

I was able to wiggle my character around enough to get the first one. After leaving and re-entering, the second and LAST alien i need is even farther back in the wall.

Issue: You can walk through every entrance/exit trigger in the game by wiggle walking, making it possible to get behind them in areas where there are floor with collision. Olaf's cave has the biggest area. Most exit/entrance triggers have no floor behind them or just a very small space you can walk around on.

The last 5 days the thorns have appeared only at the Place, when it normally changes every day.

The game is lagging a lot more after the update. I can't hold in E while digging, planting and harvesting because it takes ages and the character stops for a long time before it goes to the next place. Shopping at kristoffs and goofy's stall takes longer. And everything really. :/

Issue: The harvesting/planting feature of the game has been pretty much unusable during this update. Since day 1 of update 4 it has been extremely laggy and I can no longer auto hold, there is at least a few seconds gap between character movement of each individual harvest/plant.

Issue: After placing items and moving things in the build menu, I go back into "live" mode and sometimes things haven't saved as I've placed them. Sometimes they are replaced with items that I placed prior before changing my mind and removing them and placing something else. Sometimes the items I've placed down just disappear. Seems to happen to all different types of items.

Issue: I keep getting flowers thrown from objects. My moonstone chest today threw two flowers (A white/pink falling penstemon & red falling penstemon), and a coffee bush I was gathering from threw a blue falling penstemon instead of the memory I think it was supposed to drop. (Penstemons only because I was in the plaza when both events occurred.)
Not sure if the screenshot'll help, but I screened the blue flower dropping and being sparkly because I realized what had happened this time.

This is the ‘Not Working As Intended’ channel, right? I’m on Switch, and NOTHING is working as intended! Where do I even begin? Kristoff won’t go up to his stall to sell me things. Goofy won’t go up to his stall. Moana won’t go up to her boat. How am I supposed to buy things?!? I can’t do any gardening without my avatar pausing after every action, turning any attempt to harvest or plant into a major time suck. The game crashes every 15 minutes without fail, usually while I’m in the middle of doing something and erasing several minutes of work. The flowers in the Frosted Heights are all still red. Several of the picture frames in my house aren’t even showing the paintings. The Remy hanging lights are still gray instead of gold (unless they weren’t supposed to be gold in the first place). I’m still getting the same 20 items in Scrooge’s store that were presented to me back in September of last year. I don’t know what happened with this latest update, but it is becoming hard for me to find much enjoyment in doing anything with the game rn. I reallyyy hope they get some of these things worked out in the next update, bc it’s been such a hassle lately trying to get anything done! 😵‍💫

Issue: Pressing the X button is supposed to auto transfer items from your inventory into a chest that already contains the same items. I have dark wood vintage chests (that share the same inventory) outside around my valley and one inside my house for flowers. When I transfer flowers into the chest inside my house using the X button, all of the flowers except the purple impatiens transfer. They transfer along with the other flowers into outside chests, but not the one inside my house.

Issue: Minnie's centennial outfit has not been fixed. Whenever I equip the outfit on to her she teleports all over the map and makes my map unusable.

Issue: Whenever harvesting with a buddy after the update it takes them forever to drop the bonus. Strangely it only happens when you start harvesting and your buddy is far away from you.

Issue: My house is fully expanded on outside. I have 3 rooms added on each of two floors. When I stand in elevator, it does not give me the option to add any additional rooms or floors. (My Add Rooms to Your House Dreamlight Task says 6/10.) I'm sure my house is fully expanded because a) the Scrooge remodel sign is gone, and b) I can customize the outside.

Issue: Game freezes and I have to force close it to fix the problem. It happened while speaking to Buzz, and I could see Mickey and Buzz moving around, but I couldn't continue the dialogue or leave the conversation. It also happened when I was giving Minnie a spell book. The game froze and her conversation bubble appeared, but I could not close the pop up window to give Minnie the book or continue the conversation. It has also happened when I've been looking at the different floors to my house while I am on the elevator looking a t blueprints of the house.

Can't tell if poor graphical shading, or bad at hide and seek...
Colorblind users might have difficulty locating Moonstone Chest in Forgotten Lands biome.
I recommend upping the glitter or glow factor on the Moonstone Chest, to make it easier to detect at night time.

Dig Spots are also rather difficult to notice in darkness unless close up. Perhaps that could use an adjustment as well.

Issue: game suddenly freezing with nothing happening when using the keyboard but objects and characters still move, I can use a mouse or mouse pad to move the camera round but no keyboard input does anything, so nothing happens pressing e to harvest or keys to move around. Happens often. Have to force close the game and reload.

Instead you have to click on them and then click transfer

Issue: Could not exit Remy's Restaurant (not sure where else to put this). When I used the door the screen would blink but it failed to load the outside. Since I was inside I couldn't use the map. Had to log out of the game and back in so my character would respawn outside. Now I'm afraid to go back in the restaurant at all in case I get stuck again.
Issue 2: quick travel Well in Glade is not working. The others work fine, it's just the Glade Well.

ISSUE: the great blizzard quest is stuck. It keeps telling me to water the sparkling water particles by the pillar. There are no particles. I cant talk to olaf . He only says hello with no talking options and nothing i do will get this step to register. I have watered around the pillar.. i have cleared the frosted heights multiple times and i have moved things about the frosted heights and made sure everything was cleared around the pillar. This has been an issue for several months. Please fix this..i want olaf.

Issue: I placed the telescope for Wall-E's quest when I was over by Goofy's house in the distance, and upon placing it the NPCs are all facing that direction and I'm facing the other direction. You can work around it by going into selfie mode and spinning yourself around but figured this might be a bug as everyone should be facing the same direction in the first place.

Such an odd little glitch this afternoon: I've gotten two blue gift bags. Both contained clothing items that I already own, the black pleated skirt and black holographic choker necklace. In fact I was actually wearing the skirt at the time. Oddly, the first one came from breaking a small rock which is not normal. At the same time, Minnie (gardening buddy) didn't give me a single extra okra piece. Playing on Switch...hoping it's just pre+update weirdness.

The only way to fix it is to close down the game. This keeps happening after several tries, so I can’t place these new residences until there is a fix.
