Issue - After a while, when opening the map the map is not displayed, just icons of places and characters. Sometimes the gamepad won't work there but the mouse still works. Anyway, you can't close the map unless you manage to teleport with a well. After that, you can't open the map screen at all. Nor exit the game. You must force-close with alt+f4.

Issue: User interface (map, teleport menu) locks up randomly when attempting to pull up respective interface windows. For example, I invoke the command to open map, then all controls lock up, requiring me to force restart. This issue has always been a thing, and has been reported in the past. The issue has gotten worse since the latest update for the Steam Deck and Switch, and I'm finding my interface locking up every 10-15min, sometimes longer if I'm lucky. Wild.

Issue: From time to time I have encountered a bug that forces me to hard quit the game (from the task bar). The quests involve goals where items are being handed over, in this case for Scar's quest, "Friends Aren't Food". On clicking the "Give" button the items are handed over, in the background, but the window displaying the items does not disappear.
On a related note, the quest detected I had the required Clay (in my house inventory) and did not require me to bring it to Wall-E. The clay was still consumed later when crafting.

Issue: When placing house for Nala and Simba it didn't register. Went back to realm and couldn't turn the quest in. Saved the game and restarted. Now it shows "Welcome Nala" in big white letters and I am standing in front of my house, only thing is, my house has disappeared. I cannot do anything, the game is frozen on this with each new restart.

Issue: Day one issue still happening where opening a memory ball, handing in quest items, handing over food in restaurant or redeeming dreamlight quests will freeze. It's frustrating as its coming up to a year and it's not been fixed.

With the camera tool there is a thin white border that is useless and just disrupts the shot, i think it is a glitch leftover from the transition to the new camera?
The new free cam mode would be amazing if we had more control over it, i’m not able to properly adjust the height like I can with animal crossing’s camera and instead end up with images too close to the floor.

Issue: This bug resurfaced, except my garden and teleports are being affected and they aren't automatically fixing themselves. Only my Plaza & Castle teleport is showing up, all the others have disappeared off my map (though are still accessible through the Castle). They also aren't snapping back into place and are just off the map. NPC/Player icons are still snapping back after being misplaced. Closing and re-opening the map does not fix the issue.
Edit: I also just realized now in my previous bug report that my garden and teleports were completely missing in that video, so this is the same issue just affecting differently.

And, due to "Slowmode is enabled", I had to wait an hour before reporting the second instance of this bug. As you can see, this is also not a "Book Pile" (sold by Uncle Scrooge).

Issue: First this issue was occasional, now it is frequent. When I have any kind of pop-up (fast travel, companion unlock, cutscene to welcome new guest), the pop-up gets stuck and I can’t exit. Any button I hit to try and close the pop-up, nothing works. I even tried getting out the mouse and keyboard, they still didn’t work. With the fast travel, I was moving from the beach to frosted heights and it got stuck, I then tried switching realms to hopefully force close the box; instead of closing, it just allows me to jump realms, but not even back to the village. I’ve been having to close the game and reopen and pray that it at least saved my progress.

Issue: I opened the game this morning and my map bugged out completely. all my wells vanished except the center one and when I scrolled things moved all over the place they weren't locked to the area they were placed. The main well that was still there you couldn't teleport to. Going in and out of places like the restaurant and your house didn't fix the issue either. Restarting the game seemed to work but I figured you guys should know.

Issue: related to this message, I have been experiencing the pop-up locking consistently while playing the last few days. It occurred while picking up memories, giving characters food in Remy’s, giving characters quest items, and now getting a QR code from taking a picture. It is incredibly frustrating. But whenever this occurs, I try to wait five minutes so the game at least auto saves any progress I didn’t get to save yet. To combat losing progress, I have been constantly saving my game after doing anything, even the smallest of tasks.

Issue: The Fast Travel menu often fails to close after use and prevents me from playing the game. The issue occurs even more frequently after the Pride of the Valley (PotV) update.
The main menu with the map disappears properly and my avatar successfully arrives at the intended location, but the smaller Fast Travel menu (the one with the list of Wishing Wells) stays on the screen and prevents me from playing, resulting in me having to force-close the game. I am able to Fast Travel to other Wishing Wells, but the menu remains stuck on the screen.
Also, after the PotV update, every time I start the game again after having force-closed it due to the issue, the game always opens in Windowed mode for some reason, and I have to manually change it back to Fullscreen. This did not happen prior to the PotV update.

Issue: UI Map Crashes - twice now in the space of two hours I have had to restart my game via console reset because when I go into the map the entire map is missing except for my character icon and the main well in the centre square. Once you're in this glitched map area nothing gets you out of it except restarting the entire console because controller buttons will no longer navigate except for the Xbox button. Going out of the game and back in via the Xbox button doesn't change anything, you have to force a restart via restarting the console.

Issue: Items not showing in collections when already obtained. So far I've just found that the Mickey Donut Headband (from playing the first week of launch) and the Yellow Athletic Sunglasses (from Goofy level 2) are missing from the clothing collection tab despite owning both of them. Equipping the items did not resolve the issue.

@eternal sedge I saw this and wanted to let you know I had the same issue. I went up to talk to Ariel and in doing so it asked me to assign the ability. It might work the same for you.
