The community has pulled together and created a new guide for all the things! It has all the recipes (cooking and crafting), seed/crop/meal profit levels, character and critter schedules, critter favorite foods, where to find all the materials in the game...and the much requested clothing and furniture checklists! Basically, information that is often requested. 🙂

In order to edit for yourself, you will need to save a copy of the sheet to your own device/google drive. At that point you should be able to click the checkmarks to track what you have learned/collected.

Some pages have notes of errors known, or helpful information. If you find errors or would like to see something added or have a request for format change, please feel free to make a comment here so that someone can take a look and edit as necessary! Updates/changes will happen as quickly as we can after an update drop, and with the Premium Store changing weekly, make sure you always have a fresh copy of the spreadsheet for yourself every so often. Changes are happening daily right now, although that should slow down. The final tab of the sheet now has a "Change Log" to keep track of things that are done, so you can decide if you want a fresh copy or not.

Update 12/15/23: The Rift in Time expansion has gone live, and we now have a dedicated Guide for it. We did it this way as not everyone has the expansion, and adding it to the main guide just made it unwieldy. You can find the new guide here: http://tinyurl.com/Theres-a-Guide-for-That-Rift

the only things i noticed were the tufted chaise and tufted couch (under cinderella category) are listed as founder's pack: ultimate edition. i have both the tufted chaise and tufted couch, but i only have the standard edition.

The update has arrived and with it, well over 400 new items to discover and add to the Guide - and that's just furniture and clothing. The Fairy Godmother's sleep/eat schedule will take a bit to track down and make sure it's correct but as soon as it is, I will add it. Meals have been added and/or changed, new schedule is in, Star Path items and any new items we have found so far are added, as well as spaces for all the unidentified items that we know exist by the count. Just check the original file from time to time, see what's been added on the change log!

A clarification about a note in the guide. On the furniture page of the guide it says the following:

As of Update 5, Wallpaper and Flooring from Founder's Packs, as well as any new ones that have been released, are being tracked in furniture. Ones released prior are not being tracked at this time.

"Ones released prior are not being tracked at this time" refers to not being tracked in the guide, correct? Because they are certainly appear to be tracked by the game, but only if you repurchase them.

Aye, we have discovered this in the last few days. I will be updating the guide and the note this weekend. It's taken a bit to track down exactly how the wallpaper and flooring are working.

Makes sense. The bugginess of the store where it invariably shows you a different item than the actual flooring or wall covering you're trying to buy (name correct, image wrong) likely isn't helping.

Idk if this is useful to anyone but I'm a data nerd so I added some formulas to a copy of the pinned sheet and figured out the highest and lowest energy, sell price and profit of all the meals. Both overall and broken down by star rating.

No. The copies do not update. You'll want to check the OG list from time to time, look at the change log. I update everything there, so that folks know what has changed. You can either make the changes yourself or download a new copy. I suggest new copies around update times, because there's several hundred changes over the course of a few weeks around that time. Otherwise, it's largely smaller stuff that gets done and if it's not terribly important, it can just wait.

Okay folks, here's the deal: there was a TON of things added with the new update and DLC. Adding all the new DLC to the original guide made it unwieldy, to the point that even I wouldn't want to use it, which is pretty bad given my standards. So after some discussion with some community members and the mod team, I've decided to make 2 guides. One for the original main Dreamlight Valley and one for DLC content. This means it might take me a little longer, but I'm working as fast as I can. Once it's ready, I'll post here, but I'm going to just make an addendum to the pinned post and include the new, separate, DLC guide. I know it's kind of redundant as we have the regular clothing and furniture tabs, but it'd be nice if there was an individual premium shop tab (and the sets they come in) so it's easier to keep track of what you've collected there (maybe with pics from the shop). Having a hard time remembering and associating what's been bought in the premium shop with just the regular tabs. But that's just what I'd like to see, not sure if I'm the only one. **Hello lovelies!! I have asked our lovely mod-squad to help me clean up the guide of the chatter that didn't need to be here and they agreed because they're amazing. I've asked them to leave the relevant things like missing items or corrections that I needed to do, because that's the things I need to see!

As we all know, the update is coming on February 28. Those who have been using the guide previously know, but for those of you new to the Guide - every update means a massive overhaul. I think the last one added like 200 items? So BIG changes with updates. All changes are tracked in the change log, so you have two options: You can download a new copy and redo your checklists, or you can manually make all the changes yourself from the change log, your choice. I put out announcement reminders when I start making changes, and I put out another when it's done. I have folks who help me track down the schedules, so no worries on that front. Just remember to be patient as that many changes, along with me getting to play the update, take time.

**Hello my friends! Thank you all for your patience while I got all... 300+ changes done between the two guides. Yay for them fixing the collections tabs! 🎉 There are still some bugs with the collections tabs - namely, the "basic" touch of magic crafted items aren't staying counted. Three are, and the rest will when you craft them, but they disappear on logout. The same is happening with the Rift Ancient Civilization collection, so please do not keep crafting these items as you're just wasting mats.

Flynn figurines are still in the frozen section, the gray oxfords, the tangled overalls and maleficent wings are still in the clothing section and there's an error with the wall-e tag in the clothing section as well

You get one of that from the quest with Daisy about her date with Donald. Donald makes two of the Wardrobe, one for Daisy and one for you. So there isn't really any point to buy it from Scrooge's Shop, lol

**Hey folks. Something was just brought to my attention by Max, the wiki guru. As of now, at least 600 items have changed prices. It's going to take a lot of time to sort through and find them all, since no one person has a fully completed collection. What this means for you is this: I am going to focus on getting items added for the time being. I will let you know when that is done. I may opt to add in a second price column with some formatting so that as item prices are found, we can track them on the master copy and folks can just update as they want to. This isn't something most folks likely care about, but I strive to make the Guide as accurate as possible.

So just keep this in mind. They rolled out some massive changes without a word and it's going to take a very long while to track. **

**Main Valley Guide is done to the best of my current abilities - we are working on the schedules, so they aren't ready yet. As mentioned, there is a new column that says "update 10" because prices changed. As we find what has changed, that column will update. Keep an eye on the master guide as you shop - if you see something that is still lit up yellow, that means the price is still waiting on confirmation. If you find something, please DM me rather than spam this channel.

I think I started playing after update 5 around this time last year. The "There's a guide for that" google doc suggests that some Flooring and Wallpaper (there's like 6 of them) that are available from the start should be obtainable from Scrooge but that doesn't appear to be possible as best I can tell. Do you think since Wallpapers and Flooring weren't tracked prior to update 5 based upon the suggestion from the google doc that those specific types of Wallpaper and Flooring are not currently attainable to show in Non-Disney Furniture collection?

That is correct and what the guide tells you. Any that were obtained prior to a certain point do not show. Then we were getting them in the shop, including ones we owned, and we could buy them and they were in the collections tab. Then they redid the shop again, and now we can buy ones we didn't own but any we owned previously will no longer show and we can't get them if we didn't buy them between update 5 and now. Presumably they'll fix it so everything appears since they're being counted, but then when is unknown

The menorah and Yule Goat in the guide ( Furniture - Non Disney- Related items) is that the same one as the Frozen one? Because that one doesnt seem to work on the game to get it tracked, is this bugged or is there another? It's only in Frozen collection and not non disney related. ( In the Furniture tab it says unlock location as Crafted, hence the question)

Tried to make the change in the guide that I had copied this morning myself without any knowledge of Spreadsheets, because I had ticked all boxes again this morning and I managed to do it. Even the counter still correct 😎

Cus I noticed in the game the Non disney related items are 823, and now the guide says 821. So I managed to change my guide to 823 and just added some Unknown Items to it.

Respect that you are able to build this guide cus my lord what a work with all those formulas.

Update: The Rift is now done, except for Motifs and some possible prices changes on furniture. The Main Valley had some more updates thanks to a community member. They sent me prices for a lot of the items as well, I just haven't gotten them into place. Motifs are also not done just yet, but the tracked items are in place. Thank you all so much for your patience while I wrangle the guide into submission.

I am working on the Guide today. I got all the Update 10 prices in with a few exceptions - we don't have floor/wall prices because you can't check those, so if anyone has new walls and floors available, please send me SS of them before you buy them so we can check the price! I will also hopefully be working on motifs this weekend, real life allowing. Always check the update log to see what's changed and when, so you know if you want/need to get a new copy or just add things!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I am retiring the Guide.

When I first started this, we were on update 3. The wiki wasn’t very complete, and we didn’t have anything else we could rely on. The wiki is now very robust and the editing team is amazing at tracking down information and updating things at an inhumane speed, and they are very quick to correct any issues that the community finds.

But we are now staring update 11 in the face and, thanks to some friends, I’ve realized just what a toll managing this guide has taken on me. I’ve been updating it like mad for about 15 months and there’s usually about 200-300 changes per update. This last one was more than that with all the price changes. With the arrival of the Rift in Time expansion, I was now trying to update two guides and it really just got to be too much to handle. I am going to be redirecting most of my energy into helping maintain the wiki.

However, I know how much this community relies on the Guide for accurate information and collection tracking. To that end, I have created a much smaller spreadsheet. It still contains the schedules, but now it’s for everyone - both Main Valley (MV) and the Eternity Isle (EI). It also contains tabs for MV Meals, Clothing, and Furniture, as well as tabs for EI Meals, Clothing, and Furniture. This way you can still know who is eating/sleeping when, what ingredients are in what meals and what ones you’ve made, and track your clothing/furniture collections.
