Where can I play the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool?
You can play the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool for FREE by downloading it via Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store.

Is the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool available on console?
No. The Avatar Designer Tool is only available on PC via Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store.

How long will the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool be available?
You will be able to play the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool until Disney Dreamlight Valley launches in F2P. Please note that Steam users will lose access to the Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Designer Tool should they buy the game in Early Access on/after September 6, as it will overwrite the game in their library.

How long does the Avatar Code last for?
The Avatar Code lasts for 24hrs. Steam users will need to take care to copy their Avatar Code down before buying the Early Access version of Disney Dreamlight Valley on/after September 6 as it will overwrite the Avatar Designer Tool in their library.

Will all of my Touch of Magic Tool designs carry over to the full game?
No. Only items worn by your avatar when you generate the Avatar Code will transfer over to the full game.

**Will my photo’s QR code expire? **
Yes, QR codes are set to expire shortly after generated. That said, you can continue to generate new QR codes in the Avatar Designer Tool if need-be.

How do I take a Selfie with CHARACTER?
There are 8 possible characters to take pictures with. While we don’t want to spoil everything, consider that they each may like different clothing items related to themselves!

What is Streaming Friendly Music?
Streaming Friendly Music is a feature that changes the music in the game to DRM-free songs so that if you wish to create content to share online you won’t run into any issues with licensed music!

My character keeps centering when I try to rotate them!
We’re aware of this happening! We’re working on this feature for the future of the full game release so you can fully appreciate your character’s design!

**When I wear certain gloves/wrist-wear my shirt/dress changes! **
Some clothing options are not currently compatible with gloves/wrist-wear. We are working on resolving this for the future of the full game release.

What is the Touch of Magic in-game tool?
The Touch of Magic is an in-game tool that allows the player to create custom t-shirt, backpack, Mickey ears hat, etc. Using a variety of colors, shapes and motifs, the players will be able to achieve an infinite amount of combinations and express themselves in various ways!

Mandi will be using the same avatar, as the spirit jersey is now the only item specific to ADT again. Avatar is wearing Monsters Inc back back, jacket and horns. Blue glasses, black trainers, blue headphones, black choker, silver dagger nails, blue ice shard earrings, blue skinny jeans, blue plaid shirt.

How to ADT tldr

If you are on Mac you cannot import a code.

Using my code: copy the code provided and load the game. Once you have loaded your save file and are in game, go to settings, help, and click import avatar. Do not use the purple box, you MUST click import avatar which will open a new box window. Enter the code there. That's it!

Making your own: Load ADT, create avatar as desired, generate code, enter code as instructed above. If you are on Steam you must download ADT on Epic or Microsoft store.

One avatar per save file.

Jersey is added to collection AFTER import.

Importing an avatar will overwrite your current avatar, but avatars are fully customizable inside the game.

The jersey is the only exclusive item, everything else in ADT is available in the game.

I really like the jacket that Mandini designed, and it sucks I can't wear it in game because I decided to monetarily support the game a couple months ago 😔😔😔

On Steam ADT acts like a demo and gets replaced once you purchase the game. If you want to just import the avatar Mandi had already created you just need to use the code and import it in game via the "import avatar" button. You only need ADT if you want to design your own avatar to import.

I have a question so I imported from the ADT before the third update and picked clothing at that time was only available in the ADT (little mermaid blue satchel, turquoise stilettos and green scaled pants and tangled blue silk camisole) the problem is those specific clothing items are not showing registered in the collection tab in the clothing sets and they haven't showed up in scrooges shop since I technically own them. Is this a known issue?

Some clothes still are not added to the collection menu, and some are in the collection count that shouldn't be. Early access low priority right now, but don't worry, it's not because you imported. When they get added you will have them marked as collected.

But they have been added is the thing. I've seen people have those little mermaid clothing show up in scrooges that used to be only ADT and buy them and then be added to their collection but because I got mine before the update mine won't update or show up in scrooges to buy

You don't need to buy them. They aren't showing in collections right now. The collections are bugged. It will be fixed eventually.

For my code? No. The only purpose is to get the jersey, so for the other stuff you just get what I liked. 🤣 but you can always download ADT and make your own!

Mandi posts the new codes for the items, so that folks can use them. Codes are only good for 24 hours, so when the time period has passed, she puts up a new code each night on Friday-Monday

When I do the ADT (I've never done it for my game before) if I put a different name, will the name transfer to my current game too and override it? For instance, if I have my name in game as "Bob" and my name on ADT as "Sara", would "Bob" change to "Sara" when I use my code?

It doesn't work like that. You can go into the ADT on your own, create your own avatar, and import it. However you can only get one of those hairstyles - it's whatever your character can wear. Mandi just has a random avatar made with a code to import so that people can get the ADT Jersey, which is the only exclusive item.

No. Codes only last for 24 hours, so F - M Mandi kindly makes new codes for folks to input. You can create your own, if you prefer, so that you can choose the items you want, but the only thing that is exclusive is the ADT Jersey, which you get after importing your avatar. You can only import your avatar once per save.

You've a few options: you can download ADT for yourself (check the first pinned post to jump to the full explanation of how it all works) or wait for Mandi to make a new code on Friday and enter it yourself if you are only looking for the jersey. She updates her pinned post when she does with the code and how long its active. They last 24 hours, so she does several over the weekend

You would need to download it on a computer via steam, epic, or the Microsoft store as the first post tells you. Then you generate the code, and enter it on the switch. Like I said, the first pinned post has all the info you need if you don't want to wait.

You can, if you had downloaded the ADT yourself and created your own avatar. However, since you can only do it once and you've used a code and gotten the jersey, you cannot now download the ADT and do it again

Don't know if it's been mentioned but I reset my valley again on the Xbox, the Dreamlight Valley Spirit Jersey doesn't tie to the account like moonstone items as I had to import the avatar here to get it again... Just thought I'd mention it.
Btw thanks for the code, the clothes (monster jacket and the blue shirt) that come with the avatar look cool.

Never trust online guides. They are notoriously incorrect because they get made and never updated. The only thing that is ADT specific is the jersey.

You can use #1084168410658766939 to go through your collections and mark off what you have, see where the things you do not have come from. If there's things that are in Scrooge's that you don't have and yet your store is always empty, then that is a bug that needs to be reported in #1151283341526585374

Yes you can. Check the pins - the first one tells you how to do it yourself. The second one (from Sir Snaps) gets updated with a code in the weekend if you only want the jersey and don't care about getting specific clothes. (all clothes in there are available via Scrooge - the jersey is the only exclusive)
