(I dont know how to do videos on pc!) Mirabel is silent aside from one voiceline when she joins the valley, and Olaf is very loud despite me keeping the volume low in game !

Switch, Eric. I had the bug that made it impossible to finish the last quest with Ursula. I now managed to finish that one, and level Eric up, but I can’t hang out with him. When I select “let’s hang out” he says goodbye and leaves.

Issue: They are getting into places they shouldn't. I'm pretty sure they got stuck in a conversation animation which is why they're posed the way they are whenever I find them. However, I'm not sure WHY they are following my character around like this 🤔

I’m having the same issue with Eric. Also, I had Micky hanging with me when I tried to switch to Eric and even though Eric didn’t hang with me I couldn’t ditch Mickey. I even tried telling him bye but he still followed. I just turned off the switch and restarted and that got rid of Mickey at least. 😄

Every time I enter a building with Maribel she pops up like she came in from the back door and not the front door it's nothing major but it's also will give you a jump scare like say the beach cave you'll walk in start going down then she will meet you coming in from the other direction this happens in every location I've taken her too. She has even came down the stairs from the castle like she knows all the hidden back doors to everywhere 😆 -Switch platform

Issue: Mirabel spawns in this area for some reason. She can't get out and I can't reach her because of the "door." I placed her house above the cave in the meadows but she spawns here on occasion. (I have since moved her house temporarily to stop this, but I would like to be able to put it back eventually 🥲 )

Issue: Mickey keeps trapping me. I can't push him out of the way, and hes preventing me from entering or leaving rooms. He also was preventing me from picking stuff up, had to run way away to get him to move off things that dropped to pick them up. It caused the game to have to be force quit just so I could leave a house.

Olaf's voice seems to be MUCH louder than the other villagers, startlingly so. I haven't unlocked Mirabel yet to see if she's also loud, but I have my sound settings the same as always and he just seems louder than everyone else

Edit update: Mirabel's voice sounds like it's at normal volume, so it's just Olaf's so far that i can tell

Issue (Include NPC Name): Mickey will not move except for following - even when planting my character will path around him with difficulty as he doesn’t budge. I had the same issue earlier with another NPC but forgot who it was, may have been Maui.

Issue: NPC companions/critters (specifically squirrels, may be others) seem to get stuck on “nothing” - are stuck in the garden bed where there shouldn’t be any hit boxes. Even after moving them away they go back to being stuck. Attaching video.

Issue: Elsa and Kristoff (for now). They both have mining as their profession? (Idk what are those named) So when I'm mining in the Glade and they want to pick up an additional item they are starting the animation of it and then in a literal second stopping it. They do it over and over again until I move them and they finally pick it up. It's not a big deal though

All characters
When a character is set to hang out they become immovable making it hard to collect items that spawn in small spaces without teleporting out, also when you click to exit your house and the character is at the exit gate its an infinite loop of the player walking and all other buttons become unresponsive and the game has to be reloaded to fix the probelm i have witnessed this issue a number of times since the game was released

It seems like Mirabel and Merlin have switched dialogue? Like, Merlin has the chat bubbles that I'm pretty sure belong to Mirabel (IE comments about the candle and family) and Mirabel has the chat bubbles that I'm pretty certain belong to Merlin.

NPC's: All
When levelling up via daily discussion or giving a quest item, the overlay of the give item/ character level-up does not disappear. The character will acknowledge the giving of the item, or will restart the daily discussion. I cannot progress further than the first text box due to the overlay being open still, I cannot do anything and am stuck, but the game isn't frozen. I have tried various buttons, including escape, but the only work-around I have found at the moment is totally shutting down the game via Alt-F4 or Task Manager. I did try to submit this via the online form twice today but it wont let me 😦
EDIT: Also happened with the Buying more tokens, so I'll copy this into another issue chain

Platform: PC Issue: went into Miralbel's house with Olaf as a follower. Olaf is stuck in place and will not move when I run into him (which would be annoying enough considering that there is 0 warning before characters start doing this AND THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR MONTHS) but he's in the doorway, which means that when I tried to exit, I got stuck in an infinite walking animation into Olaf which makes my screen shake but will not allow me to exit the building, enter the pause menu, redirect my character, or do literally anything else. Again, this has been an ongoing issue with NPCs for months, for the love of god FIX THE NPCS THIS IS THE BARE MINIMUM

Issue (Include NPC Name): Eric will not follow/hangout after being invited to hangout. After that, no other characters will hangout after being invited. Sometimes a restart will allow others to hangout, but often it does not. Eric is level 4 and has the fishing bonus.

Issue:Stuck in Remis restaurant because Donald won't move out of the way. I was hoping these things would be fixed with the update. That means I have to wait like 3 months for another update to maybe play this game without screaming every 5 minutes over stupid glitches that should be easy to fix. Great.

Various NPC's have been getting stuck in ways I've never seen before. Kinda gotten used to my mining buddies needing a shove to get them moving but they are getting stuck where there is nothing to get stuck on.

Also, my gardening ones (Olaf, Minnie and Mickey so far) have been getting stuck on the bonus animation in the middle of the plots. When Olaf got stuck (still traumatised by the sight of his head spinning around over and over) it also seemed to jam up my companion too. Shoving them doesn't work and the best way to get them moving again is to plant seeds until that moves them.

Even had my foraging bud, Remi, get stuck a couple of times too.

Issue : As others have said, Prince Eric will not follow you after agreeing to hang out with you. As a matter of fact, you can immediately ask another NPC to hang out with you with no problem, so Eric doesn't even flag the player as currently having someone following them.

Issue : Same as listed above. Mirabel is stuck in her house and has no ability to 'hang out' with her. I believe this is linked to her quest to repair the house, as she is waiting for you to return to do the repairs. Quest is currently active in my game when this problem started.
Update : After fixing her house, Mirabel becomes visible on the map, but won't leave the house. When you finish the next steps of the quest and finally finish it, she is now be able to 'hang out' with you while she is still in your house at the end of the quest. I was unable to fully test this as I left the house at this point, and she immediately went home to sleep.

Issue: Visual Glitch on the End of Dazzle Pier

i couldn't get a proper screen grab of it, but when an NPC stands on the end corner of the pier like shown in the image, they 'blink' rapidly between two images of themselves.
i think it might be the walkmesh on the pier, maybe donald has one foot in an angle between logs, and the other foot on top of a log, and it doesn't seem to know if he's standing upright or tilting forward more.
not sure if this goes in visual glitches, but it only seems to happen with npcs.
PS: wanted to note, it also happend with goofy a few months back.
PPS: now donald is stuck on the end of the pier. he's my companion, but not with me.

Placed the house in the exact same spot because it was the only empty space I had that also fit the theme I wanted for her and have the same issue of her being "in the cave" without being in the cave. I've moved her house to get her to move, try teleporting and going in and out of buildings to "reset" her spawn, and of course tried entering the cave when hanging out with her during her quest. Have the game on PC. Hope it gets fixed soon.

After when the screen goes black for implementing that time has passed while we tell story to Olaf, all the talk bubbles has Olaf written regardless us or Olaf talking. Issue: Cannot give items to anyone
I'm about 5 hours into the game. I cannot give gifts or turn in items for quests. For example: I've been trying to give Merlin a blue/study item and when I try to click on the item that fits the parameters it just acts as if I didn't click on anything. I also am unable to gift favorite items. I don't have everyone unlocked but it seemingly effects everyone and I cannot progress as I need to turn in certain items for quests.

It gets you stuck in buildings and corners and sometimes requires a force quit if you're stuck in an animation like exiting a door. It's always been an issue but it seems to be more frequent than it used to.

Issue: when i gave olaf the item from his quest the confirmation box froze. The background still moves/things are still happening on the screen, and olaf answered like he would if i gifted him the item, but the box wont go away no matter how many times i click the "give" or "cancel" buttons. this is the second time this glitch have happened during his quests for me, and the only way for me to continue the game is to close it from the windows tab (cant do anything in the game/get anything else on the screen) and restart it.

Issue: Any NPC that helps with mining (in this case it's donald but its happened with all mining npcs ive had) and whenever i go to this specific rock in the glade of trust (rock closest to the bottom left corner on the left wall when looking at the map) and mine the rock the npc while trying to give me my duplicate mineral just bugs out, i used to be able to push them but i can't push them anymore for some reason the only way to fix it is to mine another rock or leave them. Obviously not a big issue but just thought i'd share to make sure all glitches and stuff get fixed before it's full release 😊

The NPC's aren't able to be moved or pushed out of the way on PC as well. I had Elsa hanging out with me while mining and she glitched out over one of the rocks. Normally I can push her away and then she'll give me whatever from it but this time, I couldn't. I tried stopping and starting the hang out with her but starting it back up put her back in the glitched out spot even if she had already moved. So I ended up just stopping again and losing out on the extra emerald and citrine she would have normally given me.

Issue (Include NPC Name): Mirabelle doesn't have the same 'freedom of movement' as some of the other characters, when the player character is moving around them. She acts like a wall/barrier when you walk into her, vs the other characters who move out of the way. Its not an issue until she gets stuck in the doorway of your house, and you have to draw her back out of the passageway. Other time I've encountered it is when planting crops using the 'plant many' function, she blocks the path, and interferes with the auto planting.

Issue (Include NPC Name): Kristoff is trying to give me more mining materials, but he's glitching out (it looks like he's twitching constantly) and while this has happened with other characters (Scrooge, Mickey), I was able to just get in their way and it fixed it. However, Kristoff is apparently an immovable object at the moment so I can't do that. Talking to him did not work. Telling him I didn't want to hang out only worked if I waited for him to wander off before asking to hang out again, because he went back and gave me more mining materials again from the same rock spot. (I have also had Moana and Woody become immovable, but never glitchy at the same time.)

Almost since I started playing the game in November, I’ve had the most annoying bug of NPCs blocking exit from doorways where I end up letting it loop for a few minutes to hope it auto saves and then force close the game and reopen it. It’s an issue I’ve had with multiple npcs, regardless of their body size where they’re standing in the corner or the entry and my character is looped on the walking animation but never exits

Issue: Scrooge keeps eating my gifts. He’s level ten but I have a duty to give him gifts for the new event. It takes a topaz from me, shows the little stars and acceptance dialogue, but doesn’t mark the gift as received or give acknowledge it in the star path :( all my topazes are now gone and I’m bummed about it

Switch. Eric. He wont hang out with me either. I asked him to, he said yes, then didnt follow me. I rebooted the game and the option to hangout isnt even there with Eric now.
Switch. All (incl critters). I cant seem to give any character or critter a gift? I can view my backpack inventory normally but if i approach a critter or try and give any character a gift the backpack appears blank

Issue: every time I try to ask him to hang out, he doesn't. I can ask over and over and he doesn't follow/help etc.

Restarting te game doesn't solve the problem.

Edit: When I already have a NPC helping out, I can't make them to leave untill I restart the game. Even when I try to ask a new one to help out.

Issue (Include NPC Name): Every time I need to give something to a character (e.g. Merlin an emerald, mushrooms and crystals), the screen freezes with the give box asking if I want to give these things to the character and then won't go away. The first subsequent dialog from the character then appears in the background.
This has already happened to me with several characters....

Goofy says a line intended for the character in one of the daily discussion options (the one where Scrooge advises him to keep track of his inventory).

If I am already hanging out with a villager when I ask Eric to hang out, then the “let’s hang out later” option does not work. The only way to stop hanging out with that villager is to hang out with a different villager.

Issue: In a daily conversation with Olaf where he asks to be told a story, some of the textboxes that should be from the player's character have Olaf's name, and the dialogue doesn't make sense coming from Olaf.
(This was with the Tangled option, no idea if the other two options are the same.)

Issue: when I go to buy from kristoff’s stall the bell rings I move to the side and then nothing happens and my character moves back to normal. I have to try about 3-4 times to be able to buy anything. And one time I could buy but kristoff wasn’t even in frame. And no nothing is blocking the stall. I moved it just to make sure and it’s in an open area.

Update: this is now happening with all stalls. 3/20/23

Issue: Minnie (and sometimes other characters, but more recently her) just keeps disappearing off of the map, shes never in the restaurant or store as i check to make sure she wasnt hiding underneath another character bubble. Most the time in order to find her ive had to reopen the map 4 to 5 times before shes popped back up, or she’ll just show back up on the map after moving it around for a bit (as shown in the video) and i can tag her, sometimes the path disappears before i can get to her though.

Issue: when you walk by a character who has a text box pop-up even after the character is out of frame, the pop-up is still visible. So instead of it looking like the character is saying that, it looks like the ground is saying it. As far as I can tell, this happens with every character and every text box. It is a lot more noticeable with longer text boxes, but that's just because they're on screen for longer.

Xbox. Mirabell. I have her set for gardening and she gains no exp or acts like my other gardening set characters. However she gains it when I go around foraging like I would with me foraging characters. So in short mirabell is acting like she’s set to foraging instead of gardening like she is set to.

I have leveled up both Scar, Anna and Kristoff to level 10

I collected all the items required to complete Scar's quest - The Making Of A Monacrch , to craft the Sunbird feeders, and this isn't showing as available when I go to craft it.

This is the same with Kristoff's Quest - A Broken Sledge- I'm at the point where I need to repair the Sledge, but it's not showing in my inventory to repair.

Then finally with Anna, I'm at level 10 with her, but the quest list shows I need to level up friendship to level 7 to progress further, which I have done so.

Issue: When hanging out with these NPCs (particularly mining), sometimes they start doing the head-banging thing i'm sure is a known issue. What i usually do when they start doing this is push them away until they snap out of it and produce their bonus. However, there are sometimes where they cannot be pushed. When this happens, i just use the map and fast travel to the nearest well, but in the mines, if i want the bonus, i would have to restart, leave the mines and fast travel, or wait for the game to crash. Luckily, this hasn't happened to me in the mines yet, but it's only a matter of time.

I concur with this, since game's release. I've used Kristoff, Mother Gothel, Woody, and Buzz. All periodic head banging. Ultimately fastest quick fix, concurring again, is to bump them away. Would like a real coding fix, though.

Issue: So very tired of villagers blocking my way and trapping me in doorways, preventing me from picking things up, not letting me past them in a narrow area or blocking me from harvesting crops.

If I make Scar follow me, enter my house, use the elevator, I get stuck in the elevator platform and cannot move out. I have to make him unfollow me and wait him to move away before I can leave. Maybe it is because his character takes more space than others?

Platform: Xbox (Gamepass)
Issue (Include NPC Name): Ursula is routing into the rocks in the back of the pool in the Glade of Trust, and is inaccessible (aquatic villagers are often routing into places just out of range of the talk prompt as well, although this is definitely the worst I've seen it).
