Ps4: I also have a few items available to order that don’t have a price and just seem like they weren’t suppose to be there. As I remember some of them are items from old quests but not all. Furthermore no clothing items appear at all when trying to order.

I don’t know about other people, but since day one I get a lot of the same stuff in the shop as far as furniture goes, and I see people on Xbox and PlayStation PC post some really cool items but I get the same stuff over and over again

Issue: When trying to buy furniture directly from Scrooge, several items show up under ALL, but have no price and cannot be selected properly. If you click on other priced items for sale and then click on any of the broken items, parts of the broken image will render in the rotating preview, but not all of it, and data like the name gets swapped for whatever you had clicked on previously. It seems that some of the broken items are level 10 quest items that disappear after the quest is complete. Not all of these disappearing level 10 quest items show up in Scrooge's store. For example I don't see the Cheerful Chums Club banner even though I have completed that quest.

If it’s empty then it’s something you already purchased. They don’t restock hairstyles, accessories/shoes & clothing. So it’ll just have a pile of money with the cancel sign to occupy that space. Not sure why people are getting this when they just released new clothes though.

@steep dust Yes, I was only missing 1 accessory b4 the update. I kept getting duplicates though. So I never got it unfortunately. When you’re missing something I honestly don’t think duplicates should be in the store until everything is unlocked. Same with the memory pieces too.

Just like spots on the platforms to the right being empty sometimes. That’s bc wallpaper or floor designs would’ve been there, but you already brought them. Scrooges shop is really annoying. I rarely get anything new when it comes to furniture & decorations. They should have different stuff everyday. Just like the clothing section does.

The problem I am having is since the update with the new star path, the outfits displayed in the windows of Scrooge’s shop have only appeared once. Since that one appearance, no other costume/dress/full body outfit has appeared in the windows of Scrooge’s shop. The normal interior looks fine and works normally. Just no clothing items appear in the windows of Scrooge’s shop anymore.

When ordering clothes and furniture from Scrooge, under clothes, it is completely blank. Nothing is there. Under furniture, there 6 items I found so far that aren't priced. When you click on them you can't order them and the descriptors are all wrong. Appears they take on the name and price of any previous item you looked at. Whatever that plant is says Order 0K and is called Bed with a long name. Once I tag the Ice Throne for 12K beside, the name and order price change. Still can't order it. Then I clicked on the next time and it still has Ice Throne as name and the 12K price tag but can't or it. So far, I found six. Wanted to make you guys aware.

I have previously obtained the Celestial Door, Thorny Door, Painted Double Door, Etc and when I go to place them in game they are not showing up in my inventory.
However, when I go to Scrooge's Store it shows up that I have them. So I am not sure whats going on. I know that before the update they had already been placed in rooms already but they are no longer are on my walls.

You have to click on the doors inside your house to switch them out, they no longer show up in the furniture inventory. I had this same issue! Hope this helps

I was only ever able to buy 4-6 items from the windows since the update and nothing has been replaced. I am also constantly getting repeats.
Another issue I have had on the switch in particular...long before the update- necklaces on the model are hidden within the model so I cannot actually see what the necklace looks like. I can see the chain...but not the charm/pendant (that part is hidden in the model)

1.) (see picture 1). Display has sold coins marker but I didn't buy anything.
2.) Issue two (reference both images) displays like the small 4 item display and the large display upstairs are missing items. See in Pic 1, two items are missing and not even the sold coins are there. And in image 2 there is only a single light fixture where there should be at least 1 other larger item or ceiling fixture.
3.) Bonus concern though not sure if it's a bug or really bad RNG but I have been getting the same items in the upstairs of scrooge shop for over a month. My catalog is far from completion so it makes it more disappointing having stuff go missing now on top of it.

Go to ingame menu & then go to collection & 2nd to last will be Clothing Sets. It’ll tell you if you have all the clothes.

I am missing more than 500 furniture items so there’s plenty to collect that haven’t shown up yet.
No new clothes/accessories in three days but I’m still missing 40 clothing items. I am not referring to empty windows. This is empty table and platform.
It’s very frustrating to not get any new items at all when SO MANY items have not yet shown up to buy. The repeats are extremely irritating, especially when there is no easy way to confirm the random generic corner counter (for example) has been purchased previously.

The randomness for clothes really sucks as well. When you almost own everything. They should fix the way that works. Duplicate’s shouldn’t be a thing until you’ve gotten everything. Atleast the duplicates for clothes aren’t as bad as the repeated furniture
It’s very annoying, but to check if it’s something you already brought you have to go to Collection in the ingame menu & at the very bottom will be Furniture Sets. They need to make it where you can sell or destroy items since there’s a limit to how much items you can have. Which is 600. That’s a lot, but if you kept buying the same stuff by accident then it’s easy to get there.

Are these ever going to be fixed? People have been complaining about the same experience of repeat items and items not showing since before update 2. Honestly Scrooge’s store is the only reason I’m playing anymore and that’s about to stop because half of the store shows as unavailable anyway.

Scrooge's store is empty. I haven't purchased anything today. There are no gold piles inside to indicate a purchase. But there are gold piles in the outside display windows. I've only been playing since January 4th, so I know there is still plenty for the store to offer. Especially since the furniture usually shows mostly repeats and I don't buy repeats from the displays since I can just order what I need directly from Scrooge.

I think I found a work around or solution to the piles of money with the red circle and line. This may only work for steam though
Go into your steam launcher and right click Dreamlight Valley go down to "Properties" and then in the window that pops up go to "Local Files" and click "Verify Integrity of game files"
IDK how much it will help but I was having issues with stuff appearing in Scrooge's Shop and the following day I logged in after doing this I had items again

Scrooge's Shop isn't selling me any clothing, but I am stuck at 817/845. He hasn't stocked any clothing items for the past two days. He keeps trying to sell me furniture items that i already have, and there is no on- screen indicator to show that how many of those items i already own while in his shop. I only own 628/1136 furniture items, so it doesn't make sense why he tries to sell me the same couches and lamps every day. Please fix this mess.

The downstairs furniture stand only has 2 items on it.
While the huge upstairs stand only has the dirty chandelier on it, and another upstairs stand has a small chair. So I’m like 9 items down today in my store. Is there any plans to look into this cus it’s happening regularly for me

Issue: After having normal restocks in Scrooge's shop for a couple of days, I noticed today that the entire accessories shelf was empty and replaced with gold piles. I have only 677 out of 845, and I'm missing multiple hairstyles, and other items. There's no way I finished the accessories at all with being only at 677. I know other users are experiencing this issue of Scrooge "holding items back". Hopefully it gets fixed.

That's one of the Vintage Chests. Those ones are all linked together. It's not a bug, they're meant to be that way.

Issue: I thought I had collected all clothing items, Scrooge's shop part for the outfits was empty for weeks, until I checked on the internet the full list and I noticed that I was still missing some, most of them being neck pieces. This, however, was fixed after I used the demo Avatar Designer Tool's Redemption Code. After it loaded some of the items Scrooge finally sold the remaining ones that I was missing. Even thought my problem was fixed I still thought of reporting since this could happen with another player. And for those that do not possess the demo, they might not be able to fix it the same way I did.

Platform Steam/PC. Issue: I cannot complete the opening of Scrooge's store. I placed the 4 signs, but the game only recognized 3 of them. So I can't complete that quest, and the lack of that quest keeps several other quests locked for (among other things) not being far enough along with Scrooge. Also, I got stuck on the Remy restaurant opening quest. This is a suggestion. When I go talk to Scrooge to buy a restaurant equipment kit, it should appear at the top of the talk menu like conversations related to other quests. I did not know that I had to select the "order" option, find "Furniture," and notice the Remy button at the top to be able to buy the restaurant stuff.

I don’t understand after 3 updates why Scrooges shop hasn’t been a priority to fix. I absolutely love this game and while this isn’t a deal breaker I do a lot of decorating between updates and it’s impossible if everyday it’s the same stuff or a bunch of repeats. I know for a fact there’s decorative items I haven’t purchased yet but I never get them. Why are things repeating at this point anyways. There’s thing from the beginning I have yet to get! I’m just getting super frustrated and it makes the game less fun for me.

I found a work-around for this problem for anyone also bugged by this. Once I figured out how to use the "move furniture" feature with outdoor furniture (like benches, tables, and chairs to "furnish" biomes) I went back to each of the four Scrooge signs and I moved each one. Bingo! The four signs were now recognized and I was able to quickly run through the Merlin quests to get back in sync with the rest of my game progress.

@crimson oyster the items with no name that can't be bought are items that were crafted for quests for different people. I think that we should be able to get them and it shouldn't cost us unless we want multiple as they are items we have already crafted. Either that or they shouldn't disappear after the quest is complete
