Issue: Cant mine in the mines. I can mine elsewhere just not there. Wont even highlight the stone to indicate I can.

Issue: used new magic elixir on pickaxe bit only got 3 tries out of it instead of 5. Also would not automatically pick up stones or gems. I had to wait for glowing to stop before I could retrieve them.

Mining buddies get stuck at the rock and will not move or throw out extra item. Glade of Trust has the most issues.

This issue was not occuring yesterday, I successfully mined this spot after the update

Issue: after mining an invisible wall blocks my path? And after a few secs of glitching out (character trying to move) it fixes itself? Only happened while mining inside the mines.

Issue: no Onyx to be found. I have mined everywhere with and without buddy, but no onyx has appeared, not a single one.

Just want to follow up on this. So, I’m still unable to mine the nodes on Vitalys on my Nintendo Switch, but on the same save file, when I play on PC, I am able to mine there.

you will be able to pick it up eventually. 🙂 those ice rocks can be removed eventually.

Issue: This particular node in the Forest of Valor near the Pillar keeps triggering my avatar to get stuck in the same place until I open a menu, then this will stop and I can move again. This happened a couple of other times with this same node as well

Issue: Can’t mine the ores in Vitalys Mine. All the ores in the mine have blue gems sticking out. There’s no highlight indicator to mine the ores. Just like the photo above.

I cannot Pick up the stones. Especially the rubys. After some time the other items can be picked up. Somehow the rubys cannot. The glowing memory can be picked up but doesn't open as a puzzle piece and turns back into the glowing ball... :/ I started to use the potion for the pickaxe just before that happened...before I could pick up items and things just fine. I also cannot eat blueberries anymore

I just installed the patch and there and still no ice boulders to break in Frosted heights. Checked when first opened, then played a while to give them time to spawn, but still none

Help. Switch. Getting trapped in mine when I have Stitch or Scar with me. No matter if I dismiss them or talk to them or gift them. They trap me in a dead end and I have to quit the game and reboot to get unstuck. This happened before the latest update but it’s much worse now. 🖤

Glade of Trust far side does anyone else have this issue where your mining buddy gets stuck at this spot? if you don't go back and push them away the won't follow 🙂

When mining in Forgotten Lands the gold nuggets hit the ground and then disappear.

Also having problems with mining buddies. Beach side of the Glade is a common glitch spot, for Woody, Buzz, and Kristoff. But Woody really outdid himself up in the Forgotten lands by glitching ON TOP OF a diamond. I had to break up with him, then re-hangout. Later on, he got jammed up in the mining spot behind Merlin’s house in the Meadow, and I couldn’t bust him loose due to tight quarters, had to stop hanging out. At that point I decided that I’d had enough Dreamlight Valley for a while.

I cannot seem to get a shiny sapphire gem and I have been mining over and over in the mine and not a one.

Issue: My buddies always get stuck mining this specific spot. I can usually push them out of the way, but I can't push Prince Eric around.
ETA: I did realize that fast traveling anywhere stops him bugging out and he still drops the extra gem.

Issue: Shiny rubies/sapphires do not spawn

I've been mining in the caves for a couple hours now, and I have the following:

• 242 vitalys crystals
• 159 gold nuggets
• 98 iron ore
• 36 rocks
• 10 pieces of coal
• 3 onyx
• 37 sapphires
• 53 rubies

However, I haven't gotten a single Shiny Ruby or Shiny Sapphire. I think the balancing needs to be adjusted here.

Issue: it doesn't matter who my mining buddy is, they spaz out at this spot all the time and sometimes I can't move them so I have to end hang out and miss out on that extra and when the buddy walks away and i re-hang out with them, they go back to that spot and start spazin again

Issue: The severe drop in the drop rate of coal has taken all the fun out of the game for me. Plus, I'm all but out of quests, which means I have nothing left to do in this game and can't enjoy crafting and cooking, which I haven't done much of, because I'm also out of coal. So… I guess I'm going to be looking for a new game to play.

Camera angles in Vital Mines are very hard to control still. Items hit the ground and disappear as you mine in all biomes, not just one area. Mining buddies still getting stuck on rocks.

When Mining in a cave you can't get past your helper. He/She blocks you from moving past. You used to be able to push then out of the way, now you have to dismiss them so they walk away.

Issue: I’ve mined every mining spot in the Forgotten Lands and Frosted Heights for hours looking for Shiny Amethyst as a gift for Ariel so I can level her up and progress in the story. I’ve gotten like 40 regular Amethyst and not a SINGLE Shiny Amethyst.

Issue: Mining bug in Glade of Trust around the mid part behind the giant tree. Everytime I have a mining buddy and want it to gather the minerals from this specific spot, they start to glitch/jitter in the spot and not pick up the stuff mined. Basically they get stuck getting out the minerals. Letting them out from party and "re-hanging around" won't help because they dash right back to that spot and not pick anything up.

Issue: Emerald mining seems to take forever I've had one from nearly 12hrs of gameplay over 2 days and I need another 4 to progress the A Dark Experiment Merlin Quest

I have started to do the quests in the frozen realm and I can't pick up the materials as they have spawned outside of the playing field so I a am unable to pick them up

Issue: Sometimes characters become immovable randomly and won’t get bumped out of the way when you walk into them. It’s happened twice with Kristoff where he’s trapped me against a wall. I think it’s because he’s a mining companion and he’ll walk up behind me to give an extra item, but then get stuck there and traps me with him lol. I can break it by teleporting, but it’s a little annoying.

Issue: When I take a buddy mining they get stuck on the rock behind Mother Gothel’s house in the Glade.

Platform: PC/Steam Cloud Save also to Switch, but not played on Switch in weeks.
Issue: When I take a buddy mining and the node drops coal and ore, my mining buddy will only give me coal NEVER ore. If the node drops a gem and coal and ore, I will ALWAYS get a gem. I never get extra ore from the buddy duplicate. Only gems and coal. Other players tell me this is not typical.

Platform: PC/Steam Issue: one of my mining nodes, bugged and "disappeared". I can't move any closer to the coal, because the "place " of the minig node it's there but it's invisible. I've restarted the game, but it's still like this. 💀

Issue: Stones to mine and bushes/ trees wont load as if they've already been mined/ picked. I'm logging in on my PC through cloud save from my switch. If i load my switch up they're there but on my PC they aren't

Issue: Unable to mine any rocks in the Vitalys mines. I have tried every possible angle and no matter what I do it won’t highlight. All other rock nodes including the ones in the Sunlit Plateau work, just the Vitalys Mines ones that are giving me issues. They are also glowing with what appears to be a light blue gem sticking out.

Issue: Can not mine any of the rocks in the vitalys mines. Everywhere else works. I have tried restarting the game, exiting and reentering, etc and they still won't let me mine them. They all appear to have some sort of gem in them.

I'm still having this same issue I was told its because I went forward in time by 12 hours on my switch but my pc is still bugged (same cloud save) anyone else had this issue?

Issue: When mining with an NPC with mining bonus, occasionally NPC glitches when picking up extra items - happens with different characters. NPC gets stuck in motion near mining spot. After telling them to hang out later, glitch happens again immediately after asking to hang out.

Issue: As mentioned above few times, when mining in Glade of Trust in that exact spot (see picture) with an NPC, the NPCs always get stuck after trying to give extra reward. The only solution is to "push" them away (if possible, sometimes they cannot be pushed - mentioned in another bug section) or just teleport away, so they run across the whole map and get finally back.

Platform: Xbox One Issue: Everytime I rejoin the game the mining rocks have not respawned so I cannot collect gems, all the rocks I haven’t even mined are just missing.

If you are mining in the Glad of Trust with an NPC they will get stuck on 2 different rocks until you break another rock. One is on the single side by the ocean and the 2nd is behind Mother Gothel's house. thank you

Couldn’t find this already so maybe it’s new (or maybe it’s not a glitch at all😅) - I’ve been mining FH and FL for over 30 mins straight, using a Character support, and even tried one miracle elixir and I cant mine a single shiny amethyst

Issue: mining companion glitches trying to throw out extra item, instead they are repeating animation into rock. I’ve had this happen in Peaceful Meadow (rock in the leftmost corner) and Glade of Trust (rock in the middle)

Have this issue too on the Switch - idk if you have worked the temporary solution out but what I do is give them a gentle bump with my character to help them give me the extra mineral! But yes I would love to have this fixed, nightmare

Issue: been mining in the mines but for the life of me can't get shiny sapphire, it's been months now and still can't get it. I play the game roughly 2 to 3 times a week and mine at least one of those days.
