Issue: Getting stuck when giving items to characters
I've been having this issue since the game launched. When giving items to characters I'll press give and it'll give the items and the dialogue that follows will pop up but the window with the commands won't go away, so I'm stuck and I have to alt f4 the game

When you try getting out of Buzze's House, it show's an "Enter" where it should show an "Exit". Actually, if you move a little to the right it shows the "Exit" button, but it's a little difficult for it to appear.

Issue: I can't open chests in one of my rooms anymore. I tried playing new ones and the same problem appears. The action to open the chests doesn't show up. The items still seem to be there since I'm able to cook with them. 😦 HELP

Issue: When I enter the customization menu to edit any clothing piece, then try to exit, it won't let me. The side menu disappears. Only solution is to way a while for the game to autosave and then force quit. Not pictured, sometimes when i try to select the option to go to the bag (even though it isnt visible) it'll start rapidly flashing, which is a horrible bug.

Issue: Stuck when trying to complete actions.

This happened to my daughter when she was unable to sit in a chair in a particular position and just happened to me while farming. If your character is, for whatever reason, unable to complete something you've told them to do (in my case, planting a seed but getting blocked by Maui, with whom I am "hanging out" so he's not moving any time soon), the game needs to either automatically abort (after X time) or give you the ability to abort the action. As it stands, I can move the camera around or go to the home menu, no other buttons respond.

Issue: Anytime I try to exit furniture mode (even if I'm only on it for less than a minute) the game freezes and I have to manually close it. I have restarted and tried again about 4 times and still does the same thing.

Issue: Most well and shop buttons are missing or misplaced from the map, the one won't let me teleport to it, and the crop number is inaccurate (3 out of 64) . I have all wells and shops unlocked.
Fixed with game restart but keeping post as a record of the bug

Since update collections tab has been playing up. The memories go down to the bottom memory "sword and stone" each time I open the collection tab. Or the memory dissappear or I get grey boxs. Text from other tabs such as fish info bar at the bottom stays after I exit fish tab. Closing and restarting dose not fix it.

Issue: items are stuck in this pond in Sunlight Plateau and my character is also stuck. The crystal was stuck last week and now the flower has joined it. 😂 I’m stuck between the bush and the rocks.

Was talking to donald about item i found after cleaning up his house at clocktower, somehow think i entered clocktower? Definly inside building was unable to do anything move, menu button ect but jump out of game on switch after re-load cant find the first item again to restart quest, will it randomally re-generate or have i lost it and the new chars i ws trying to get?

when i go to the map it will not load any images. i can move it around with my finger and sometimes hit a well and it will teleport me. after i teleport and i go back to the map it locks and i can no longer use it OR leave the screen. after the map errors i also cannot open my inventory

Issue: Clicking on the "Dream Styles" for Ariel has locked me in the style selection screen + I am unable to get out without force closing the game. It will show me the cutscene in the background switching her style, but it just takes me back to where I'm standing with this screen. Unable to exit out or move around. (Just going to cross my fingers that my game saved after all that farming I did since my internet has been spotty. 🤞 )

Issue: Sometimes when opening a memory the game gets stuck. It does not respond to any button. On the background everything is ok (except Donald who had a meltdown while I took this photo), it's just impossible to close the memory window.

Couldn't get a screenshot - but on PC - I've been getting stuck in dialogue more often since the update. It's happened twice so far, the text bubble shows up but no button prompts so I get stuck on the initial conversation bubble
*Edit to add the only way i've been able to unfreeze the game is by force quitting the application

My game crashed when I purchased a star path item. (Platform:switch)

The gingerbread Mickey motif is showing up in my inventory, but it is not saying I bought it in the catalog. When I try to repurchase it, a pop up appears saying “already purchased” which makes me nervous I won’t be able to complete the star path and get my 900 bonus moonstones at the end…

Platform: Steam My character gets stuck exiting a villager's home (this has happened in multiple villager homes and it doesn't matter if I have a villager with me or not). The camera view function works fine but my character is perma walking, am unable to exit, and can't access any of the UI. I can't even ESC to get out of the game. (I am unable to record a video of this)

Not exactly sure how this one happened. Never had this much control while stuck before! Teleport even almost worked!

(During lvl10 Buzz quest)

Upon restarting the game, the quest was already finished.. so that's a big anticlimactic end of update 2 for me 😅 (minus Stitch, soon™)

on a Macbook Pro---when attempting to zoom out i always end up super zoomed in a tree. like i cleared out tons of my trees cause i thought they were just in inconvient places, but i can be byt he well on the steps and if i zoom out to far...BAM camera ends up zoomed in to see just leaves of the nearest tree. i am playing around it, but its super frustrating

Blue chests sound keeps on going long after their open or even if I've open one and try another the sound still plays its horrible to hear. have to go back to main screen to get it to stop.

Issue: Character freezes when interacting with items. I tried to sit in a chair, and character kept standing, but movement was frozen. Had to hard close the game. Then, immediately after restarting game, I tried to change the image in the new memory frame and the same thing happened. Screen still shows “Change” while character stands still. No other buttons work. Will have to hard close again.

Issue: sometimes when i click ‘return to title screen’ it has the saving thing on the screen and it just gets stuck spinning there forever, i then have to close the game and hope my game doesn’t corrupt (not sure if this is the right channel for this issue but i’m not quite sure where else to put it)

PC: Frozen dialogue. After talking to Woody and completing his daily dialogue, I gave him a topaz to get him to lvl 2. For some reason the same daily dialogue as before popped up, right after selecting his profession (fishing in this case).. I clicked through it, but it froze. Everything moves as normal in the background, but I cannot do anything.

I really wish they would do something about character name. When I first created mine the name I chose which was not weird or anything related to Disney was not acceptable. It didn’t tell me this and instead created my character with “Player name “ as my name. Didn’t realize until a ways in and I didn’t want to start a new one. We should be able to update the name.

Issue: Same as previous versions - When picking up a memory, or engaging in something that overlays the game (screenshot), I cannot escape the overlay. The game works fine in the background with noises and environmental motion, but any user actions or inputs have stopped working. Only a hard reset of the game resolves this issue.
This was an issue that was present before Update 2 as well.

Issue: My camera has been driving me crazy since the update. It's seemed twitchier, and was no longer inverted. I decided to uncheck the "invert camera" in the settings and then my camera was only able to rotate horizontally, around the character, but no up or down movement. When I went into the settings and switched the toggle on "Invert camera" back to on, the vertical control came back and it was correctly inverted.

Spoiler pic. Platform steam on laptop. Issue: these pop ups are still getting stuck on screen and nothing but restarting game works, this time with giving buzz batteries. I've given them to him but now can't progress because the give item pop won't go away. This also happened earlier with a memory, like others posts above.

1: when I gave Maui his candy earlier in Remy's restaurant, my screen froze. Couldn't close out of the "give this item" tab. Had to force close my game.
2: When I was mining, I got a memory. The memory came up, then when I pressed exit, it was frozen there. It soft locked my screen so I had to force close my game again. This isn't the first time I've had this issue so I hope this gets fixed soon

Switch. When scrolling in the furniture menu the cursor moves off screen and the camera doesn't follow the cursor. You have to back out and go back in to see the cursor position again. The furniture menu when you press x and then go to furniture

Issue: tried going to the Ratatouille realm but got soft locked in the fast travel screen. Could only interact with the fast travel menu going between realms and would get a "there us not enough space around wishing well" when I tried to travel to any village wishing well

Issue: The Mickey Mouse Doughnut ears and the Charter Rug don't register to the collection menu. This is resulting in my game saying I have 74/78 clothing items in the Mickey & Friends clothing collection when it should say 75/78. According to the wiki, the doughnut ears should be tracked in the collection menu. The wiki does say the charter rug isn't currently tracked.

Map has been working fine with a controller until now. It works normally with mouse and keyboard. If I use a controller, however, it goes crazy. First I cannot click on the teleports, then I cannot click back. You will see in the video. Whenever there is a mouse pointer I am using the mouse.

When in the collections menu, if there is an object highlighted with a banner description before moving a different menu section (ie move from collections to quests or map), whatever description was there will stay there and not disappear.
If something else in collections is highlighted similarly, it will stack on the previous banner. Usually 2-3 of these can stack at the same time before the one on the bottom disappears next time the menu is open.

Current example shows Merlin’s description on top of a recipe description, but it can happen to any entry with a sub menu like this.

(I’m only putting in an entry now because I finally figured out how this gets triggered.)

Issue: Avatar frozen in home, I didn't take a screenshot, but this has happened a few times. My avatar will be stuck walking in place and I cannot press any buttons to get her to stop or go to any menu. I have to Alt+Tab just so I can close the game, then open it again and that solves the problem, but it doesn't always save what I was most recently doing.

I have this as well. Back up to the inside edge of the exit box and an "Exit" prompt should be available. Too close to the door and it'll show enter. See my post 2 above.

The past few times I’ve talked with characters, their last choice dialogue gets stuck (alongside the last dialogue box displaying) and you have to close the game to get it out of that state. Past couple times, I’ve now noticed it only happens when a character levels up after doing their daily conversation.
If they don’t level up after the conversation, the bug doesn’t occur.

For me the Malevolent Fairy Horns show up under hats AND under the collections tab for Sleeping Beauty furniture - which should be the Maleficent's Throne. You can still access the throne from the furniture placing menu though, so it's just the thumbnail in the collections menu that is wrong.

For me, I still have Maleficent's Throne showing up in Furniture, it's just showing much further down than where the horns are showing. There are two Sleeping Beauty categories in Furniture. The horns show in my clothing inventory, but they don't show in Clothing in the collections tab.

It only started since the most recent update but whenever I give a character an item or even when I got a memory shard once, the screen just froze. Any option in the confirmation window would not close it. Everything outside that window worked normally and I could see animations playing in the bg but I had to force close the game because I could not do anything. In my screenshot you can see the dialogue window continued as normal but I can't close the other window to reach it.

Issue: was talking to Merlin and he gave me a dialogue prompt of 3 options. Picked one of them and he levelled up in friendship. Did the regular level up stuff but then it got stuck zoomed in and the dialogue options reappeared.

Selecting one of them did nothing and was stuck unable to do anything. Had to force close the game…

Issue: Mouse and Keyboard just totally non-functional. The mouse flickers constantly and cannot move from the center of the screen save for a very short distance. Also, when I go into the options to try to adjust video options or some such, the menu flickers so that I can't actually change any settings. This issue doesn't pop up in any other game or in Windows itself, and I've restarted the game several times with no change.

EDIT: Rebooting my machine, resetting in-game settings, and checking my mouse settings in windows did not change the effect. Mouse and keyboard still won't work in game. Unplugging my controller also has no effect on being able to use my mouse and keyboard. I cannot change any settings using the controller because of the flickering issue.
I've also unplugged my controller and other things that might trigger the problem, still no success in getting the mouse and keyboard to work properly.

**EDIT 2: ** Figured it out. For some reason, my PC was attempting to use my Switch pro controller that I had charging in a usb port of my keyboard. Unplugging that seemed to fix things. 😅

If I am hanging out with a character and I enter my house- the game frequently crashes or the character blocks the doorway and I can't make them move out of the way so have to force close the game.
Second issue- 2 times now I will have been having the daily discussion with a character, the character will level up but then the discussion question/ answer will still be on screen after the leveling up and I can't dismiss it. I then have to force close the game and reload

Game frozen. Just placed Goofy s scrap book and it teleported me to take a photo and crashed. Now, every time I load behind the book to take a photo, but the Y button doesn't work so I can't take the picture, and the zr button doesn't work so I can't change off the camera. The L stick doesn't allow me to move. Only the x button and the +and- buttons really do anything. I can teleport, but stay locked. I can move the book, but that locks the game completely. Issue: Gets stuck after a character levels (so far both chatting with them or by giving their favorite items has done this). After it shows the progress/rewards screen, it reverts back to the dialog screen from right before they leveled, including showing dialog options. If I try re-select the an option, they disappear, but the characters' original text/question will remain with no way to get out of it. The character animations continue, but I can't get back to gameplay.

This started occurring after I had the issue of getting trapped in my house by a character following me (got stuck in the doorway "perma-walking" with no way to move or even get to any other menus). Not sure if its related.

I unfortunately do not have screenshots as I had to hard-quit out of the game via task manager.

ETA: Its been about 10 days, and I have not had this issue reoccur. Several characters have leveled through various means (gifts, hanging out, chat, etc.) without the game getting stuck as it did previously.

Issue: Hello! This is definitely a breathtaking game! The premium version is by far worth it! I came across an issue with Ursula’s last quest. I put the crystals onto the pedestals before speaking to Ursula, and now it says I have 0/4 crystals and I can't take them back or rediscover them. The last large crystal wont respawn. Any idea of what to do? I tried to log out and restart the game through my Nintendo switch, but it has already saved. Along with this I am experiencing game crashes, which doesn’t matter too much if the game content works! Thank you for your time and consideration!

Issue: I've noticed that if you've accidentally hit ESC or back on switch while in the menu while looking at the memories (that you didn't want to look at most of the time lol) the memory picture will be locked on the screen and 4F or hard quit is required. It's not just memories but their the most common.

Issue: At Dazzle Beach, there’s a spot that can’t walk through for some reason? There’s nothing in the way and it’s been a walkable spot before. My character is currently walking against an invisible wall in the photo.

Issue: I've come across this bug where an overlay/pop-up is stuck on my screen. It's happened in different situations but it's just happened when i was in the elevator trying to edit my rooms. I can't do anything else anymore (except turn my screen in some situations) and I have to tab out and close + restart the game.

Issue: UI Freezes:
This mainly happens when scrolling through furniture, crafting, and cooking. Oftentimes the L and R buttons stop working when on the "Fence and Paving" section.
UI also freezes when leveling up a friend via Daily Conversation.
Map UI occasionally freezes, but that might be a game crash.

Issue: sometimes when I level up, especially in the middle of dialogue, no matter where I click I can't get out of the level up screen. Also happens when my friendship lvl with someone levels up. And sometimes when I have to give an item to a character or choose a dialogue option, for some reason the same thing happens. It's quite often and the only way I've been able to "fix" it is by restarting the game.

Issue: Was talking to Stitch and raised friendship level doing so, after getting the pop-up showing this the dialogue stayed on screen so i pressed the same response as i had before and now i cant get it off my screen or move at all (Stitch is unaffected and walked off so it’s just me stuck lol)

Issue: I can’t scroll through my quests. I have to reset the game a few times to get it to work but then it stops working again. That isn’t frozen, it just won’t do anything on the quest menu like it used to or like it does on other menus. This just started happening yesterday after doing a lot of quests. See attached video.

seconding this, just started happening in the last day or two (also on switch). when it first started i was usually able to fix it by reopening the menu a few times, but now i really can’t seem to fix it by reopening the menu, restarting the game, or restarting my switch

Issue: I fast traveled to wall-e's realm and got stuck in the fast travel menu. I could only fast travel to each realm twice and on the second fast travel would get an aerial view of the realm, like the image shows. I could not exit the menu or fast travel to village wells. The game did not crash and I had to manually close and restart my game.

Issue: stuck on the map screen. It started happening last week; I go to the map menu to locate a character or fast travel, and it doesn't respond. I changed to another screen and went back to the map, and it was blank with just my avatars map marker. Closing and relaunching the game does not help. It stays stuck on the map and does not allow me to back out or toggle between other menus.

I had issues today in build menu trying to select plaza fern. Trying to move to it from above, below, or the right side would skip over it. It was in the far left column, so if I went left to the furniture tab, I could go right from there & get it to land on the fern.

Issue: Outside in furniture mode I moved a lot of items (everything seen in the picture; house, chests, tables with objects on them, etc) between biomes. Everything looked correct when in furniture mode but after leaving it, the items all became jumbled in the new location and objects on the tables changed their appearance. For example, tables were strewn around and coal on the table now looked like sand and so on. Once it was picked up then it turned back to coal. I do not know if it was because of the large number of items moved, that there were chests, or tables with objects on them.

Have tried eating 5 star dishes or just food in the biomes.

Can rarely collect all the items that sometimes sprout around due to lack of speed. Usually leave at least 2 behind.

Nintendo switch: can we please do something about gold coins jumping into locations we can't access and cant move the landscape to reach them...they just float there and are irritating...I now have 2 of them (1 in the plateau and 1 in forgotten lands)
