Issue: the camera, that problem is everywhere but it’s almost unbearable for me to navigate in places like the forgotten lands, forest of valor and sometimes the frosted heights because of the camera. Things should disappear within a certain range of your avatar so you can see where you are going and pretty much all of the games I’ve ever played know this and have it but for some reason this issue is still on going. Running around in the forgotten lands and constantly having trees, branches, and leaves in your way makes it so frustrating to play and forget about it at night.

On steam deck, on a fresh install of the game the resolution shows on the entire screen (1280x800) but as soon as you open the settings it defaults to 1280x720 and black bars are shown on the top and bottom. Issue: Clothing glitches. When wearing a collared shirt and a collared jacket/coat, the collars don't interact well. The collar of the shirt under the coat also should not be displayed OVER the collar of the jacket. That's not very realistic. Also, when you run with a jacket on - at least this jacket - the shirt underneath glitches through (see video)

Issue: Visual issue with items inside houses causing the lighting over the 'Gilded Soaring Clouds Wall' This happens when using any type of windows. Lighting does not change this issue, it makes it worse. I have only noticed this once adding rooms into my house (This screenshot was from the left room, size 10x10. This does not happen in the main room, I have tested.

Issue: The screen went white and everything flashed aggressively after exiting the menu. This is a serious issue for people with photosentivity/epilepsy/seizure issues. Warning that this video shows the flashing lights after closing the menu. This is my husband's video, he said that just before this happened he was making meals at Remy's restaurant.

Grandfather clock has had this graphical glitch for a while, since the first big hotfix update I think. Only haven't been more bothered by it because I hardly ever get frozen furniture so I don't have enough to get a proper themed room yet, haha.

A series of textures which appear to have the wrong shader applied or the texture appears almost completely different within the game from the image in the catalogue. Tried to stray away from items that seemed just a smidgen off and I don't have all the items memorized, so I've definitely missed some. It does appear to only be newer objects for the most part that this applies to

First table has that bright green highlight, no other objects including other tables with similar coloring have that bright green on them.

Next up, a Giraffe lamp and a vase. Each look vastly different from their catalogue pictures. The giraffe lamp is especially jarring. I've got my graphics on "ultra" so this shouldn't be an issue of me running lower res

Even the grandfather clock looks pretty different from the catalogue image-- I may not have noticed if it wasn't for the other obvious graphic glitch on the glass. But it's different enough that I think it warrants a look.

I wrote this whole long comment and it got eaten-- but I THINK IT IS WORTH SAYING so I will try again.

Basically, I think there's a QA issue within the texture dept that should be addressed sooner than later. I've got a few more examples to highlight this texture QA issue and I think it is a bit of a widespread problem right now that needs addressing ASAP.

For the record, I am a texture artist. I worked at a company which had clients (and leads) who had high expectations re: accuracy and quality and often times insane deadlines and large volumes of assets to work through. So I have experience in this specific area. Given my previous experience and my position as a customer I can say that this issue is most probably affecting others given this game is built around the premise of decorating/mixing and matching/aesthetic. If the item in the catalogue looks completely different when it's placed in world, it's jarring and becomes off-putting p quickly when it pops up more and more often.

I only want to point out obvious differences I've noticed which would be quick fixes to show how many i've run across casually playing the game and because I do believe that it would be 100% worth it for the player experience to fix these "nitpick" issues given the genre of game. I'd be stocked seeing that these items (and whatever others) got QA'd and revised in the next patch over a bunch of new clothing/furniture tbh. So if youre able to spare an artist to work specifically on making sure the in game assets and catalogue images were accurate to one another-- I would do it.

First! The rust on my trash is gone 😦 It went white for a while and now it's just a boring trash can.

Second! I know these rings specifically are described as and look silver in the catalogue, but show up as a shiny black in game. Normally I'd chalk that up to a shader thing, but the Paris/France rings don't seem to have the same issue.

Third! Another example of accessories issues. These pink knit gloves look much redder and a bit darker in game than they appear in the catalogue. To show that it isn't just a lighting issue I put on the fire-proof gloves which remain color accurate to the catalogue image.

(The issue seems to be mostly in accessories for clothing. Not in larger "Staple" items like shirts/ dresses/ pants/ shoes.)

Fourth! No spoopy green glow for the cauldron as shown in the catalogue. I know that's more technical than just a texture/shader thing, but it adds up with everything else.
FIFTH! This one is the most nitpicky and final specific I will point out. I've got this fountain next to two other water features just to say "I aint talking about the water cause ALL THE WATER LOOKS DIFFERENT EVERYWHERE IN THIS GAME". LOL. So just to be clear, this is about the texture of the fountain itself. NOT the water. This fountain is visibly darker and has less visual contrast in game than it does in the thumbnail in the catalogue. I know that the lighting is definitely playing a factor and the water color being nothing like the water in game is not helping, but I think this fountain is a good example of what I've been pointing out.

Basically there's a bunch of minor issues which aren't huge deals on their own, but they've become more obvious and common to the point that it's fairly noticeable. And I understand that with some of the examples I gave could be explained away with "well the lighting is different" "you're in a different outfit" "you stuck it next to a rock", I think those explanations only go so far when it's clear that whoever has been working on the catalogue thumbnails for items is either adjusting images to look different/choosing pictures which do not look like the final product/There's something wrong with the textures. This is something that I would prioritize fixing/figuring out now when the issue is manageable vs several months from now when who knows how many more items will have been added to game.

Oh the screen shot of the fireproof gloves in the same lighting as those pink knit gloves didn't show up. Whoop. anyway here that is.

Anyway, sorry for the length. I really do feel like this is an issue which would be tedious to go through and correct, but would be 100% worth it. I know everyone must be working like crazy as well so-- cheerin u all on from the sidelines. I really appreciate and enjoy all the content that's been put out so far. 🙂

Issue: invisible wall in my meadow. I was placing down stuff and an invisible wall appeared. Critters and villagers can still walk here, however my character cant. I can place down furniture on the spot the invisible wall is, meaning there is no item blocking anything there. I tried to completely exit out of the game, but this did not work. edit It seems to have something to do with one of the stones next to the lantern. Removing this specific stone fixes the issue, however, placing the stone down again makes the issue pop back up again. However, when this stone is placed on exactly the same spot, but facing the other way, the issue is gone again.

Not sure which section this should go into but here goes.

I started playing from week 1 and since then with every character quest line and some other major story lines, I noticed there would be a “skip” in post quests dialogue and I assumed that the skipped part is cutscene that is ready thus the “skip”was intended.

Out of curiosity, I checked YouTube on some gameplay and quests I have done and behold! to my surprise the cutscenes played! I can’t believe i’m missing out on these cutscenes.

With so much hours put into the game, the progress I have attained, I’m not willing to restart the game.

Suggestion: Cutscene playback functionality. I would be nice to have this so that we can relive the cutscenes, not just for those who missed it in the first place but to rewatch for other hidden Easter eggs etc.

It's because of your companion character (in this case, Buzz), not sure why they always stay in the doorway rather than move away. Simplest thing I found to avoid this is to run to the opposite side of the room and wait for the character to follow. Try exiting ONLY when the doorway is clear (this is valid for any usable door in the game).

1. When ordering items from Scrooge, the picture on the order page doesn’t always match its enlarged image on the right. Also noticed this on the space porthole window, and when that item is placed inside the image in the window is just a blank light blue, no longer can see any stars.

2. Items for sale in store change color drastically depending on where you are standing. If you look at my feet I only moved a tiny bit and the bed is a totally different color.

When I wear Thigh-High socks with my Brown Safety Gloves it colors my first two fingers. All Thigh-High socks do it but the photos are with Blue as its the easiest to see.

I posted this in #dreamlight-help and they recommended I post here. I recently bought Ultimate Edition on Steam from previously playing the regular version via the Xbox from my subscription. I have deleted the game via the Xbox app and downloaded it through Steam. I never had any issues playing, previously. Now that I play through Steam, my game freezes quite often. Any idea why and how to fix? Steam, the game, and my PC are up-to-date.

Issue: I was speaking to Kristoff in Sunlit Plateau. The interaction of him talking to me for the Daily Discussion stayed glitched, stuck on the screen after his level up cutscene completed, and he just...walked away from me into the Forgotten Realms. I had to completely quit out of the game and restart the interaction to get it to go away, especially since I couldn't move. (Support ticket email already submitted.)

I was making a Beauty and the Beast themed room and placed the 'Mahogany Table' down. It shows it icky has 10 squares of active slots to place items on... but it seems there's 5 additional invisible squares on one of the side of the table.

If makes for a fun party trick lol.

EDIT: I also found 3 more on the thin side of the table, so that's 8 active, invisible squares 😆.

I originally purchased the Harp from the display in the store and it was white. when clicking to buy the item it showed me the image it’s supposed to look like (gold and green). I purchased it anyways, and placed it in my home. it remained white.
I ordered a second through the store & when placing it, it also remains white.
I have put them in different rooms, always white. Rotated different directions.
If I rotate the screen around to look at the Harp in different angles it sometimes glitches with the correct coloring but always goes back to white.

So far it has only been the Beauty and The Beast Harp but I do recall seeing another white item in the store. I don’t remember what it was but I remember thinking it didn’t look right.
Will there be more items affected? I don’t mind too much but would be nice if it was limited to only a few items. Especially Beauty and The Beast it is one of my favorite “themes” in this game.

Issue: Backwards clock face, I do not know if it affects all clocks but I noticed it on this one. Two of the four faces are mirrored. And read clockwise 12, 11, 10 etc. Roman numerals are backwards as a result.

Issue: Degraded performance in fullscreen mode.
Description: Right around this location in Forgotten Lands; running past the large rock formation towards the pumpkin house; I always had screen stutter even though I have a pretty powerful system. I deleted trees, etc to try to reduce the lag. Once I switched to fullscreen (without borders) then the game runs smooth as glass. It's been my experience in pretty much every game I have ever played that true fullscreen gave higher performance but that is not the case currently in DDV. Other players might be selecting Fullscreen as well assuming that this would improve performance. Thank you.

• some items like wood, flowers, the stones of the wall when I break them, even the apples, bananas, of the trees, so it doesn't respawn back, once you get it all, you can't have it back because it doesn't appear again
• some harvest and crops can't be recollected, like vanilla for example, or the carrots, pumpkins, etc.
  that is so frustrating because I can't continue with my quests. I started a new game, and all the first quests are abour recollecting items and crafting, but with no items, i can't craft or finish the quest. So i'm stucked.

Gardening Buddies,
The characters get in the away a bit when you are gardening. If you get too close to them yo7 can click on them instead of watering the crops. And also when one random crop suddenly glows and you try to rapid fire to collect as many as you can they come right up and stand on the same crop you’re trying to collect from and it mess it up a lot of time you can’t collect the full haul because they are in the way

So I was revisiting relms in an attempt to see if dropped items there counted for the insane numbers I have in game (I eventually found a large amount of dropped spices and my daughter was digging holes around the outyer edge of 2 biomes it dropped my numbers but not nearly enough) but noticed we have floating sky shrubbery when you take Moanas boat to her secondary realm on the beach. Are these also counted as part of that 600/3000 limit i seem always to close to at 2500 and I have empty bioms for the most part.
