Update 2 - Scrooge's Shop Issues

I ordered a shirt from Scrooges shop and it won’t show up in my inventory. And I can’t reorder it. And it won’t show up in my mailbox either. I have restarted my game, nothing.

Issue: negative number of items at Kristoff's stall
you can buy a negative amount of items, even if you don't even have that item.
the stall can then not be used anymore at all, untill you enter and leave a building to reload it.
the item you bought a negative amount of then disapears from the stall.
(i'm so used to going left once and pressing A on controller to buy the max amount such as in Goofy's stall, but that is what breaks it)

I cant tell you how many duplicate items I see on the furniture side- so many times seeing little mermaid table lamp, Cinderella dress form, little mermaid starfish table, beauty and the beast stained glass rose lamp, and the lion king waterfall, the elk head trophy.. id love to see more variety please.

I bought out Scrooge’s shop yesterday prior to updating the game, I log in today and there has been no re-stock

I am also getting the ‘not enough item’ but from kristoff meaning I can only buy from goofy currently🤣

Bought event related item from Scrooge’s store. It was an item from woodys new update it was the Photo Booth. The item never appeared in my inventory. Normally I’d just say “meh” this happens in early access. But I’ve been trying to get that thing FOREVER!….😂This is on xbox.

Check your custom clothing. I purchased a white turtleneck a couple of months ago and it didn't show in my inventory; turns out it's a base for custom clothing. You can still wear it as plain white though. ☺️ Hope that helps!

I had this exact thing happen to me this morning. I exited the shop and came back in, and all the items appeared. Hopefully this is the case for you too 🤞🏼

Issue: you can order clothing from Scrooge's shop that you already own. This is weird considering clothing you already own won't show up in his shop. Plus, there is no point for you to have two of a clothing item

Issue: Hair rarely if ever shows up in scrooge's shop. I've seen more varieties of bad gloves than I have hairstyles. Over 100h into this game and I've only been able to purchase like 1 or 2 hairstyles the entire time

Issue: Before the Scar update I was able to purchase a Wrought Iron Arch and a Purple Wrought Iron Streetlamp from Scrooge's Shop shown in the first two pictures but even after both the Scar Update and the Toy Story Update I still can't purchase these items including othe crafted items shown in the last two pictures

Issue: Scrooge sign glitch. I crafted all 4 signs and placed them, then continued with other tasks, the game bugged out so I restarted the game. When it loaded back in, I only had 3/4 signs placed and the 4th is gone- I cant craft, it's not in my inventory, I can't order it. Gone.

Issue: Too many furniture duplicates.

The furniture stock rotation is really poor right now. I'm only receiving a few new furniture items a day. As far as I see it, EVERY furniture item in that store should be brand new. I don't want to be seeing all these duplicates. It's a shame for me because this is my only major gripe with this amazing game. 😭

Platform: PC This melted candle item, I think that's its name- I can't select it to buy. This hasn't happened before in Scrooge's shop- angled my char a bit so you can see the placement and item. If I click on it (E) nothing happens. Works for other items. (Afterthought: could it be conflicting with the new turn on/off light thing? )

Issue: today in Scrooge's shop I only had three items in the accessory area, and two items in the shirt/ pants area. (I also had nothing in my windows, but that's because I bought everything that shows up in the windows.) I am very close to having every item of clothing (650/764,) but there is no way that I have run out of items to appear in both of those areas. Especially since I have every item of clothing that can be obtained through quest lines/ star paths.
The only other items that I don't have would be some of the higher tier founders pack items. (I don't remember the names, but I have the cheapest version of the game.) I would find it extremely weird if those items were counted in my game catalog, considering the fact that I can literally never own them

Solution Idea: Please put an owned object counter on the "Browse" discussion, the same way there are owned object counters when you order furniture directly from Scrooge.

Platform Nintendo switch. I’ve been playing the game since it came out. I haven’t had very many bugs at all to complain about but it is a little disheartening every day that I go into Scrooge’s store, and I keep getting the same few things to buy it never changes. I see other people getting a lot of different things on a lot of different platforms including the same one I’m using, but I haven’t gotten anything close to what they’ve gotten in their squid store. I wish you could fix the rotation of what he has in his store so it’s not the same every day. I love this game.

When I buy afurniture from Scrooges store it takes two days for that spot to refill. Other items non purchased will continue refresh the next day, but the spot the item was purchased from will remain empty until the second day (example item purchased on a Monday, spot where purchased item came from will remain empty until Wednesday). Clothing set is 200/764 and furniture set is 218/1044

I'm on Xbox and couldn't buy the melted candles and tried a bunch of times. I was finally able to get them while standing on the 5th step, hope it works for others, too. I had already bought the other items on the table.

Also talking about melted candles, there's a branch that has melted candles on it that is invisible in the shop. I thought there was only 1 item on the platform, but when I walked to the back of the platform the price changed, so I clicked on Browse and it showed a branch with melted candles on it. I didn't buy it, so I don't know if it's invisible when you place it, my daughter had the same invisible branch with melted candles in her store also, but she didn't buy it either.

Issue: I keep seeing the wallpaper "Blue Galactic Federation Mothership Containment Wall" in my shop periodically even though I've already bought it and it's in my options to pick when dressing a room.

Issue: Scrooge's Store sold me a second Dark Wood Vintage Chest, which was very exciting until I discovered it opens the same storage as the original - meaning it is already full. If this chest is meant to be unique, please remove from Scrooge's Store so we don't waste coins. (If we are meant to be able to have more than one of it, please make sure it has its own storage so there's actually a point to purchasing it).

On a related issue, Scrooge's Store sometimes offers me wallpaper or flooring I've already bought/found in a chest, and I have to go all the way to my house to check if I have it. Sometimes it's hair or clothing that I've already found in a bag. Please limit Scrooge from offering a second copy of any unique (aka only need one of) items for sale after we own them, I keep wasting coins on copies I can't use.

Issue: When filtering on "Outdoors" many items are not listed that can be used outdoors. The intention might be that it's an item tagged as "outdoors" but I keep buying/crafting items only to find out it can't be placed outside. I think the expected behavior would be that selecting outdoors would filter on items that can be placed outdoors.

Issue: My shop is often half empty and constantly the same items. I have all the clothing and understand why those areas are empty. But the furniture slots are also often half empty. It's also always the same few items over and over again. I login almost daily to check the shop and only have about 544/1044 furniture items still.

Issue: No clothes appearing for 3 days now. Both the table and pedestal are empty but I only have gotten 753/764 of the clothing sets. I unlocked all the holiday ones as far as I can tell already (both Halloween and Festive). All characters are at friendship level 10 as well.

Issue: after Ariel’s quest to craft her crafting station, it disappears and I can no longer craft her bench or buy it at Scrooge’s shop

That's not an issue, it's meant to do that. So if one doesn't make an extra while working on the quest, you can't make a spare for yourself to keep. Unless hopefully at some point maybe the schematic for it could be made available somehow. Perhaps from Eric's Blueprints might be a good option?

Issue: Duplicate furniture items.

I'm still getting way too many duplicate furniture items in Scrooge's Store. I got absolutely no new furniture items today and I still need around 400 furniture items. Why can't the furniture rotation be the same as the clothing rotation where every item in the store is new?

Issue: cannot purchase melted candles on far right of furniture display. I’ve posted about this before & it’s still not working.

Issue: The melted candles are not purchasable from any angle other than running up/down the stairs until catching it just right to “browse” for them. Once successful they can be purchased, just triggering the sale menu is not working for a large enough radius.

I know there can go 4 items.. cause sometimes that happens. But the last couple weeks only 2 items at that spot is.

issue: if i talk to scrooge and go on order items > clothing, it lists clothes I already own. I have unknowingly bought the same item multiple times that way as originally the item would disappear after ordering it, but now it does not. There is no way I can remember all exact clothes I have later down the line without it marking it. plus as we dont get a duplicate of the item, it is just wasting money. so please make it so the items owned disappear from the catalog again
