Issue: Just downloaded and installed the update, went to buy the premium star path. It said it could not do it at first, I had 24,010 moonstones, I tried again, it took my moonstones, I have 21,510 now, but it did not unlock it at all.

Platform: PC Issue: Minor one but definitely an issue. 'Hang out for an hour with Moana' isn't updating/ticking off time in proper fashion. I started at 10:35am EST and maybe tabbed away 2 minutes of that hour, the rest in-game. And I'm 46/60 at this stage.

Issue: With new update, bought deluxe star path and backed out of menus. The game froze up and became unresponsive to input. Had to force close the game. Upon reloading the game it is now showing that the moonstone was used but the star path isn't purchased. Cannot repurchase starpath either.

When I tried doing the "Hang out with Moana for 1 hour", it took me way longer than one hour cause the minutes didn’t register. Was at 25 for ages. Annoying when your game is prone to crashing after more than 1 hour and you don’t wanna lose progress

Issue: Star Pass Update 12/06/2022

Purchased the new star pass (premium) on my switch and spend some points on the designs, some items and the christmas dress. Tried to Saved my progress into the cloud, but it won't work, then i turned off my switch.
Logging into the game on my pc and it shows me the star pass isn't purchased, i try to purchase it again but i only get an error "transaction impossible". Closed the game on pc and it get saved into the cloud.
Start the game on my switch again, star pass isn't shown as purchased. Try again to purchase it and get the same error as on pc.
Logging out of the cloud didn't change anything for me.

1st I was on switch, I unlocked the premium star path. Backed out of the menus. And it crashed right after. Went back on switch and it took the moonstones but it's not unlocked. So I tryed to unlock it again and it said the requested transaction can not be completed. So I went on my xbox and tryed it that way and it still says it can not be completed. If I were to send a bug report, which platform do I put because it's happening on both?

Issue: I used 50 tokens on the star path to claim the fox companion - the loading screen for connection came up as disconnected then reconnected... (may I add my connection was also completley stable - several times it went offline before this and said "game portal unavailable" when I tried to reconnect but then it finally loaded so I claimed all my tasks...)

Anyway once I went to spend my tokens I got 3 of the 4 items but on the last one it froze like it was going to disconnect again but then reconnected seconds later and the fox wasn't claimed but the tokens are gone! :( so now I have no fox and no tokens and I'm aware that there won't be extra tasks to make up the extra I've lost so I won't be able to redeem all the items now! Is this a known issue? How can I either get my tokens back or the companion I tried to claim? I want to get everything on the star path but now I'll be 50 short as I've had 50 taken away for an items I didn't actually get! I tried restarting the game and also checked my companions just incase but nothing! 😓.

(sorry had to wait 5 mins to post this after my last post I don't really know how to use discord lol!)

The game only allowed me to craft 1 Yule Goat (I had the materials for 3, but it wouldn't let me adjust the number up to 3). After I made the 1 it would allow, the item was completely removed from my craft menu, so I can not make any more, or complete this task from the Star Path.

It felt like the last minute for my "hang out with Merlin" task was taking a long time, so I got out a stopwatch. According to the stopwatch, it took over 2 minutes for the last minute to register as completed. I would guess the actual time was closer to 4-7 minutes. Of course, that's just a guess because I wasn't counting the entire time.

The gingerbread Mickey motif is showing up in my inventory, but it is not saying I bought it in the catalog. When I try to repurchase it, a pop up appears saying “already purchased” which makes me nervous I won’t be able to complete the star path and get my 900 bonus moonstones at the end…

Issue: I had a local save on my Xbox that was 20 hours ahead of my local save on my PC. I didn't realize this and I bought the 3000 moonstone star path on the pc save, used the currency it buy the lamp post, the companion and the 100 moonstones. Once I realized what save I was in I went to my Xbox and saved the local to the cloud and when I went back to my pc, I no longer had access to the star path and it will not allow me to purchase it. When I attempt to buy the free 100 moonstones it shows a "you've already purchased this" prompt but it shows I don't have them. My moonstones are still missing, it appears I bought the pass but do not have access to this.

Issue: I tried to collect the first reward on the first page of the Star Path, for x100 Moonstones. The game initially told me that there was an error and it couldn't connect online. I came back later and tried to collect it again, and the game told me I had already purchased the reward, but I haven't received the x100 Moonstones. In contrast other rewards I have purchased show as "Collected", but that one does not. It seems that the game thinks I have purchased the reward, but it's not collected and hasn't arrived in my Moonstone balance. I don't know if this is related, but I'm umable to cloud save - I've filled out another bug report for that in this forum too.

Issue: Quest? Honestly I’m not sure if it’s star path related, but as it is one of the missions I’m putting it here. I’m supposed to spend 1 hour with Merlin, fine no big deal. I’m going on 15 minutes left as I set a timer too in case. It’s only counted 10 minutes. I’m not sure how time is being counted as I’ve been doing mining with him and it’s only counted a few minutes.

Okay, so I got another task to hang out with someone. This time it was "Hangout with a fisherman." I started timing the interaction from the beginning because of my last experience. So, according to my stopwatch, I have been hanging out with Moana for 11 minutes. According to the game, I have been hanging out with her for 2 minutes. These are very different numbers.

I could almost understand if it was supposed to go up at 5 minute increments, and it somehow messed that up, but I don't think that's what's happening for 2 reasons. One, the first time it went up at all was some time between 10. and 11 minutes, meaning that if that was the case, it entirely skipped 5 minutes. Two, during me writing this it has gone up to 3 minutes, and I definitely didn't spend 5 minutes writing this.

Edit: I do want to note that I was already hanging out with Moana before I got this task, so it's possible that that somehow messed with it. I really don't think that's the case because of my experience last night with Merlin, but I thought I would mention it just in case it was relevant.

Issue: last night I purchased the game for my Mac, having already owned it on Switch. Purchased the Premium Star Path on Mac. It activated and debited my Moonstones. Today, booted Switch for first time since playing game on Mac. Synced my Cloud Save to Switch. Loaded. Premium Star Path isn’t activated and my balance doesn’t indicate any of the Moonstones I got with the Mac purchase. I don’t seem to have the second pack of founding furniture either. Don’t really care about that as much as I paid for moonstones and Premium and now have neither.
ETA: I have also lost access to Toy Story despite already paying to unlock it. So I guess I’m not playing until I can get back to my Mac and see if I can fix it. Disappointing.

Issue: Purchased the Mickey Christmas outfit but cannot apply it. When accessing the Character menu, choosing the outfit, and selecting "Select" it kicks me out of the menu without applying the outfit. Merlin's worked just fine.
Edit to Add: Tried quitting to title screen and fully quitting the game and restarting, nothing has worked.

Issue: My game on Switch froze completely and then ended up crashing. I had purchased the Starpath Deluxe and was on tab 4 (i think) and had already purchased the 7 items/rewards before trying to move on to the next tab of rewards. When re-entering the game, the Starpath shows that the rewards from tab 4 were not redeemed (even though they were) and therefore i cannot progress any further on the starpath because I had redeemed every item on the tab previous and it doesn’t allow me to “purchase” them again. It gives an error message saying something like “already purchased” when clicking each item.

I have been hanging with Goofy fishing for 90 minutes at this point and another hour yesterday. Because I thought it was only registering the amount of time the pole was in the water. I bought the Festive Garland for 30 Gift Tokens but it said Transaction could not be completed. It took my tokens though and it is confirmed that I do have it. (I bought a second one at Scrooge's Store.) But it doesn't count in the Star Path and if I try to purchase it again, it says I've already acquired it.

I've completed all the quests and after buying everything else, I cannot spend my last 10 gift tokens on the 90 Moonstones it's offering since it's now forever locked until the Festive Garland registers that it's already purchased.

Issue: I unlocked the premium star path and bought the festive holiday dress and the festive fox. I saved to the cloud when I was done playing like usual. Later that day, I accidentally clicked on the local save. I am always prompted with choosing the local save or cloud save when I open the game (even though I always cloud save). Unfortunately, it seems like my cloud save was overwritten and now the star path is not unlocked even though I am out 3,300 moonstones. Trying to purchase the star path again says the transaction could not be completed. The dress and the fox are still in my inventory.

PC. The timer for spend time with doesn't seem to be working correctly. I ticked off at least a half hour to almost an hour with Merlin, who is also my fisherman, and it credited me with 1 minute. I tried fishing with Remy last night and Woody, my other fishermen, tonight for a combined total of one hour and gained 5 minutes.

The "Hang out with a Fisherman for 1 hour" duty is not counting time correctly. My fishermen are Moana and Maui. I hung out with Moana for over 2 hours last night and it got stuck around 54/60 minutes forever. I was fishing the whole time. I tried stopping/starting hanging out again and closing and reopening the game and it was still stuck. I hung out with Moana again today for about 20 minutes and it gave me credit for 1. I decided to try with Maui, and again it gave me credit for 1 more minute even though I've been fishing with him for 30 minutes. I've now spent 4+ hours on this duty and still only have 56/60 minutes registered.

Issue: Hang out for an hour with Scar” and “Hang out for an hour with a fisherman” both have taken far longer than an hour. When the fisherman duty completed the pop up alert in the top right of the screen said I’d just completed ‘Catch 5 Kingfish’ (which I’d done previously.
As an aside, maybe ‘fishing character’ might be better / more gender neutral than ‘fisherman’ 🙂

Whilst the development team work on a fix for this, a workaround has been provided by Gameloft for the Star Path not activating after purchasing it.

Turn your internet off
Try to perform an online request (should see a prompt asking for reconnect)
Turn your internet on
Press the "Connect/Reconnect" button
Wait few seconds
Your data should be synced

Issue: I accidentally restarted on my ps4 and before I restarted, I had the premium star path... now that I'm on a new save on my ps4 because I accidentally mis-clicked start new game... I cannot purchase the premium star path that I had no issues purchasing before restarting. I have enough moonstones but everytime I click unlock premium, I'm hit with the 'requested transaction could not be completed' message.... and yes, I've tried restarting the game and uninstalling and redownloading.... any suggestions?

i had a similar issue with flowers/rocks. so i moved his house. at no point did i see you say you tried and couldn't move his house.....I did read. if i missed some other part of the post, its because of how big this thread is.

have you TRIED to move his house? if you have and you cant, i got nothing, except suggesting completing his questline if you havent yet.

I claimed all of the new Starpath items once the new update completed. I initially saved locally to my Nintendo Switch because my cloud save kept failing at the time. Then my game crashed and when I tried getting back into the game I was unable to use my local save data to continue where I left off. I was forced to get back in with my cloud save from the night before the update released. I figured all of my moonstones would still be there to reclaim all the items again, but they weren't. The moonstones I spent on the Star Path items were gone, but I have all the items still in my inventory.

Since all of the Star Path reward pages are locked as though i never claimed anything, I tried to reclaim the items to unlock the rest of the pages, but it keeps saying "already claimed" since all of the items are in my inventory.

I bought more moonstones thinking I would need to reclaim everything and now I'm stuck with 515 tokens that I can't convert back into moonstones because the final conversion page is locked.

I submitted a ticket thru Game Loft but I haven't gotten any response or update in over a week and I haven't been able to play since the new update dropped because I don't want to mess anything else up.

Issue: "Hang Out With" Duties having tracking issues.
I finished one duty and got the next which was "Hang out with Merlin for an hour." Good, I thought, I had just asked him to hang out with me! But half an hour later, the duty did not show any progress!
I had to send him away, and re-hang out.
The next day, I had only accrued 35 minutes with him, so we hung out some more. After about five minutes, I noticed the timer hadn't gone up, so I sent him away and re-hung out.
NOTE: this was with Festive Merlin, not regular Merlin, if that makes a difference.

@azure lynx I found it!!! It's not a mask apparently. It's called Face Paint. When you're in your wardrobe, go down to customize, then face paint. It's there. So are the snowflakes (that's what I'm wearing)

Issue: I haven’t completed the star path and only have two duties showing up. As I completed them they disappeared and new ones did not pop up.

Issue: My Star path will no longer allow me to purchase rewards. It says transaction cannot be completed. It also will not allow me to purchase the premium star path.

Issue. Collected all the items for the star path but the ice mask isn't showing up in my collections as collected or in my clothing options still .
