Issue: When using the left stick to scroll through furniture menus, the camera gets dragged across the valley. Usually one would use ZL+L to move the camera but the camera is moving when just scrolling using the L stick even with the furniture menu open

Issue: if using the L joy stick to scroll through items the camera will start moving everytime you move to the Left. You are forced to use the D pad when scrolling.

Issue: from the beginning I could not use furniture mode without it messing around my placements after saving and exiting due to a night thorn or hole being randomly spawned. It is very annoying and frustrates me as I would love to be able to decorate the valley as I please. Time spent in furniture mode does not seem to matter either. It happens almost every time. I’ll also fill a bug report but don’t know what to categorize it as.

Nintendo switch: since the patch, any time I’ve gone into furniture edit mode and tried go out of it, the game freaks out. It’s fine inside my house, but when I’m trying to move things around in any of the biomes I have to quit the game. Since it won’t save though, I have to go through the whole thing again for it just to not work

I placed a Food Stall Counter down to remove some dig spots and now cannot remove it with the Y button. I didn't place anything on it.

Issue: Every time I try to remove the Locker Counter from the room in Furniture Mode, it pops back up in that same spot no matter how many times I try to remove it. There is also that Furniture mode is undoing a couple actions every time I close it whenever it places the Locker Counter back down, such as putting back other items I had removed and removing items that were sitting in the room when I closed Furniture Mode itself. The only item I had set on the Locker Counter was a Jar Lamp, but I moved the lamp off and removed the Locker Counter afterwards, but the counter keeps popping back up

Placed woody's blanket fort inside my first floor room at the entrance room, now I can't finish the quest and I can't put the fort away in my inventory so I can place it outside or somewhere else to finish the quest.

I can rotate it and move it around but there's no option to put it away at all. I've tried to see if I can put a larger item over it to force it into my inventory, but that doesn't seem to work either.
(As a bonus note, it would be nice to have a "put all away" option in decoration mode for our rooms for when we want to completely revamp a room. While it obviously would need to take in account the chest and other storage items which would require manual movement, it'd just make redecoration a bit easier and possibly help when weird issues like this pop up! But I know this would probably take some work to implement given how item storage on currently works in this game)

I've been having this issue since the Woody/Buzz Update. Every time I go and edit things in Furniture Mode, when I click "Save & Exit" it just freezes. I have to force close the game and everything I edit gets reverted back. I've given up trying to decorate or anything now since I can only move ONE item at a time.

Platform: Xbox Issue: it won't let me add decorations to my house, says I've reached the maximum. So I removed stuff and it still says that I have reached my maximum. Maximum what exactly? I've taken stuff out of my house so how can I have reached a maximum when I'm literally taking stuff out? The message I get is something like "maximum items reached please remove items". But I am removing stuff and I still get it!! No screenshot the message doesn't last long enough to actually take one. Doesn't matter don't need the message, I can add whatever the hell I want to an already overloaded inventory but cannot place anything when I have only used 334/600 spaces for decorations? How is that even a thing? Who honestly "fixes" this game?

Issue: when in Furniture mode and while holding an object, the zoom feature really should use the position of the held object as the center of the zoom. A lot of these objects/tile placements are incredibly fiddly and it’s just disheartening to have to constantly reposition the camera while I’m just trying to place a small rock.

Issue: Can't delete "Black L Kitchen Island with White Marble Top" once placed.
Where: 4F floor inside house, no room expansions.
Description: I placed the "Black L Kitchen Island with White Marble Top" in the room along with some other furniture. I left to go to Scrooges to buy more actual counter sections then came back to use those instead. After deleting the island piece and decorating the way I wanted I backed out with ESC to see the new room and the game pushed the new furniture out of the way and put the L shaped island back where it had originally been. I repeatedly tried to delete the "Black L Kitchen Island with White Marble Top" and the game will not do it. I can delete and add other furniture just fine. It's only that one piece that is now permanently stuck.

Platform: Switch. I have had furniture go missing. I know I bought all the knickknacks for decorating the kitchen counter (bowls of fruit, etc.) But they are all gone. I can buy them from Scrooge, but it says I have none, yet they aren't placed in my house.

I couldnt take a pic but omg i almost had a serious health injury related to intermitent flashing when i was moving the camera in forest of valor and im not even epiletic and it was awful. I get theres a warning in the game but i dont think this out of knowhere flashes caused by bugs should be part of it though but only quests stuff etc like other games

You can pick up food to remove it by just standing next to it and clicking it out of furniture mode. If you just want to move it, you should be able to do that in furniture mode.

The same thing can be said on the dream shards and the coffee beans. It would be nice if we can place those three things I mentioned on a table just to show what I have in the treasure chests

I was advised to put my issue over here as it is becoming so incredibly frustrating that I felt I had to tag the community managers. So here goes:

I could write whole paragraphs for this thread but I'll just write the latest offense for now.
Building in the Frosted Heights yesterday, I usually try to exit build mode regularly since we still have to deal with the ridiculously frustrating bug that erases our progress/reverses changes, but I'm having a rough time atm so I didn't think of it as much.
So I'm almost done, exit the build mode, and the game proceeds to steal 2 street lamps from my game. It didn't "just put it back in my catalogue" (like it does sometimes), they're gone from the game entirely.
I'm actually fuming at this, as if the ridiculous iron grind isn't already too intense and frustrating as is, now the game is gonna legit steal items that take HOURS of grind to craft??
It's one thing to delete bushes, but straight up deleting items that take so much grind & effort to get?
That's not okay in my book Gameloft & needs to be fixed asap.

(Just to be clear, this is NOT the 1st time this happens, it has happened repeatedly for MONTHS now, with various items that are difficult enough to craft or unlock, hence why I thought tagging the community manager was necessary. This kind of bug ruins the experience & needs to be fixed before players start dropping the game bc of the frustration.)

was decorating in my house and set the toaster and blender on the floor. i now cannot pick them up to move them and cannot undo placing them on the floor. i even undid all changes and they stayed there. i also couldnt put the coffee table away

Issue: unable to move Ursula's house to the glade of trust. Everytime I try, the game freezes and I am unable to do anything. Sometimes it freezes on just the furniture side but I am able to toggle around but can't get out of the furniture menu. I tried other areas (dazzle beach) and it worked fine. I was even able to place it close to the waterfalls in the glade of trust...but then I cannot enter the home. It's when I put it close to the water and land. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fish spawn?

Here we go again! ALL the flower disks and flower rectangles, so craftable foliage, just straight deleted from half of my valley.
All the hours I spend decorating. Useless. I feel really discouraged tbh at this point. 3 whole biomes where all the craftable foliage got deleted. I'm not even gonna count how many disappeared, or how much time I wasted grinding for those. You can compare with the pics of the builds I uploaded on this server & see the difference.
(P.S: I hadn't even yet started building today.)

Video: As you can see, the game doesn't allow me to place anything at all, and I can't zoom in or out, move the camera around, and it seems to get the cursor stuck when I move it a lot.

I keep having issues where my game keeps crashing in furniture mode, either when I’m trying to exit out to save my changes or when I’m moving something. It’ll freeze and I’ll have no choice but to restart the game, which will mean that I’ll lose all the work I did. I’m getting really frustrated because I’m in the process of moving all my fruit trees to another biome, it’s super time consuming and literally every time I finish or get close to finishing, my game decides to freeze and I have to restart and do everything I just did all over again

I’ve already completed the quest where || you track Pua and free him from the Night Thorns || and am unsure if the footprints are supposed to disappear after this. Regardless it’s blocking off a big portion of the map and ideal spot for placing a house and being unable to remove them is annoying.

Is it possible you're trying to put things on the counters that can only go on the floor? Shards cannot be placed on tables or counters, there may be other things too. Keep trying other things. Idk what to say about the disappearing items. Stitches tv disappears too, but I think that's for everyone.

Issue: I’ve DIY’d 4 crafting stations (3 iron and 1 wood) and none of them appear in my furniture inventory when I go to place them in the valley. The materials were spent but the items were never added to my inventory (rip all of those iron nugs 🥲)

Issue: the iron spike and brick fence has major problems. Sometimes when placing, it looks fine in furniture mode, but the center will disappear upon exiting leaving only the posts. I’ve also noticed the number I have crafted fluctuating in my inventory. During the same build mode session, it said I had 16 and then 24 as I was laying it down. I can still only place down what measures out to be about 4 squares worth without having the disappearing issue, and now it says I only have 4 left somehow.

i was having this issue but i think it has to do with the amount made vs. the amount needed to make a full fence. the brick and iron accounts for each pillar as well as iron spike. im making an iron fence around remys house & i am guessing to make a complete around i will need at least 100 brick & iron fence pieces prob more tbh lol

platform pc : im having a furniture mode related issue i cannot find a discussion on so sorry if it has been mentioned before but recently i noticed that when i move objects around or i remove them into my inventory that when i exit furniture mode the objects will be misplaced slightly or even placed in a completely different spot & items i have removed just dont go away & i'll have to go back into furniture mode to fix it all - ALSO from this glitch i now have 3 bench tables not sure why but i had 2 before this , i went to move one onto the beach area & the extra one i had in the meadow , i placed them both & the next day i was decorating another area & had saw that i had another bench table in my inventory so i went to check the 2 areas i did have those tables but they were still there so now i just have this 3rd table in my inventory im not mad about it but just very confused where it came from lol

I was making some room for the new update; moving around homes, trees, bushes, etc. When I was finished the game completely turned into whatever this mess is lol. I really hope that it auto saved. Otherwise I'd have to do some grinding alll over again.... please fix furniture mode and UI mode.

Update: Not even 10 mins later, I retried to move less things. That didn't stop it. It flashed the Dreamlight icon while trying to save. Not the regular load in a circle or whatever. I mean, flashing black and white. What's going to happen when I have no space and I can't even place anymore villagers?

so when you're making the fence you need to make iron bars and bricks when combining to make the fence it is only making so much of your fence at a time so you need to be making at least double the amount to complete it like the ratio amount between brick pillars to iron spikes aren't the same so you can to take that in consideration when making your fence - whenever i make fences or paths in game i make double the amount i think i need basically

Issue: Dream Shards/Night Shards/purified nightshards not dropping. To clarify, inside my home I tried to drop down dream/nightshards/purified shards to free up some inventory space while cleaning my inventory. These three items would not drop, however, other items would. Exiting the game did not fix this. The only way to fix it was to expand the room I was attempting to use, and then shrinking it back down the the desired size.

I get this too! I'm trying to move the fruit trees into one area and when I'm done and try to back out it just freezes. It means I have to close the game and I end up losing all my progress
