I cannot get past 8 layers when adding motifs. It simply does not allow me to add another layer. It also crashes once I click save and exit

Xbox Series X Game Pass:
After starting a new design I am unable to back out from the Wardrobe menu. This started to occur with my 25th design on November 23rd and has persisted every time I try to use Touch of Magic.

I see it is a new issue by the dates. But I am also experiencing crashing issues on Nintendo switch whenever I am trying to design a piece of clothing. I have to place the picture and save immediately then go back in and apply the next item I want or color I want on the clothing. If I don't do this and try to leave out it crashes.
